I started playing the Wilson D9 3 wood off the tee for the last 5 rounds. It's amazing. Replaced my driver temporarily! No slicing

I exclusively use Wilson clubs! Absolutely love how easy they are to hit. Current bag is LP 1’s, D7 hybrid, 3wood, and Driver. Considering the LP 2 driver for some extra draw bias

I really love my LP fairway woods, I've had so many clutch shots with the FYBrid. I game a full bag of Wilsons and really enjoy them. Not having a bigger brand in the bag doesn't seem to be holding me back. I only started back playing last year and I'm catching up to my friends that have been playing longer and use bigger name clubs.

Seems like Wilson let the ball drop during the 90's but they've slowly made a solid comeback. I use some of their recent irons and I love them.

James absolutely love the humor, come on if you can have fun why bother, I agree I'm a club golfer with a 3 thousand dollar set of clubs which I hate right now lol, I fall right into the hype every year lol, and why do I watch Adam Scott in slow moe, really like I'm ever going to swing like him lol , gotta laugh this world is to crazy ! I love Wilson Staff golf equipment. I've had a lot of them in my bag before. Love budget equipment that performs just as good as anything else. Right now I have a lot of Cleveland stuff in my bag.

@@paulhirscher2518 I had the Launcher HB turbo but sold it. It is a wonderful driver though, no question. Just not the face angle I like because my misses go left haha. It does sit closed at adress.

Definitely thinking of getting one of these based on James' recommendation. I've had trouble driving the ball all year long, and I've lost a lot of distance as I've aged. I figure that since I play from the red tees then I don't really need a driver, so the LP with a senior shaft might just be the ticket for me. Plus the price is awesome!

This could be a good replacement for my aging BB War Bird 3 wood. Currently in the bag are Wilson FG Tour F5 irons, driver and 20 degree hybrid. Love my Wilson set up which keeps me off a 4 hcp. Who needs any other make lol?

If you want to see tight fairways try Meyrick park and or Cobtree Manor Park. The 9th at Cobtree is about 10 yards wide

Don't often get to see Wilson products reviewed so (me being a Wilson fan) thanks for doing this. Their recent irons and their C300 line have also gotten very good reviews. BTW - Even with the draw bias I wonder if the shaft was the reason for the wayward shots(??).

I've played both the LP 3 wood and 5 wood, agree with you on the playability of these clubs, unfortunately had to replace both as they split across the face about a third of the way down the face after about 12 to 15 months of use, they were good while they lasted though 🤣

What is your swing speed with the three wood and how far do you carry it on average? Are you a beast that just destroys clubs?

My swing speed is about 95 with the 3 wood average carry around 220 yards, as for destroying clubs ,no the first club I bought is a taylormade 4 hybrid and its still in the bag and probably most used too

I have had a set of LP2 irons for a couple of weeks and I’m impressed with their performance. I ordered a LP2 3 wood because I have problems with my existing ones and read a number of reviews where the face or hosel on the LP fairway woods have split or broken. A bit of a worry but let’s see what happens.

I have been playing the Launchpad 2 irons and 4 hybrid for a couple of months now and I’m hitting them pretty well. Unfortunately, I’m a left and per their website they don’t make a lefthanded Launchpad driver.
