Yk I myself decided to buy Amkette at first and placed the order for the same colour on Amazon. Later I decided that Ares matches with the theme of my setup overall and went with it. Imo both are equally good and have their pros and cons. For looks, I think it's very subjective which color appeals to whom.

None of the above. It's working perfectly. You can go with wired but the reasons specified... I feel like it just limits the portability and makes your setup look ugly if you go with wired because neither there is any noticable latency and connectivity is insanely strong... So strong it works from my other room. Secondly, the battery life is hugeeeee. In my case I don't charge it for months (I do play occasionally tho)... Proud owner of Logitech G F710 Wireless Gamepad from past 4 years. I use it for playing just Fifa and it never disappoints. Bought it in sale for around 3k now it is 4k, it's worth every penny. Before it I had redgear gamepad which I got for 1500 it's not at all good.

No doubt Ares looks better than evofox, but at this price range functionality should be main priority than looks, ares pressure sensitive triggers are not good they only work after you pressure half the triggers and that also goes very fast from 0 to 100, while evofox triggers work properly
Just returned my EvoFox elite x controller, 3 main cons i noticed on it (mainly played Forza horizon 5)- 1. Range is very poor, any obstruction between the receiver and controller, it misses signals. 2. The left joystick became unresponsive at times (also please do a joystick circularity check on gamepad tester websites) 3. In forza, it doesn't give haptic feedback for different terrains! Only collisions and maybe 1-2 other cases, but the experience is very poor. So please don't go for the amkette one. Probably gonna order this Ares, let's hope it doesn't face these issues.
I got evo fox wireless it keeps getting disconnected, then i got wired one as replacement it starts drifting after 1 week of usage. My old cosmic byte is still working
Ohh that's concerning to hear. Personally, Evofox seems to be quite new to the market whereas Cosmicbyte seems more trustworthy to me. Just my instincts.
How is the experience with analog sticks? Cheap controllers tend to forget this department. I have a Redgear pro controller and I hate the flimsiness and the sounds it makes.
Honestly, i don't trust any analog joysticks anymore. I had my Xbox controller stick drift within a year 😭 I would prefer hall effect joysticks, but they are hella expensive 💀💀

I said that because half the things I own are white which includes my monitor, desk, and shelf that I recently added. Also the controller is now sitting on top of my shelf which has got all white items.
