Would need to see each of them down by the ball and hit 100 balls. I'd like one without the changeable weights, something that doesn't feel & sound empty (at strike) like my TM 2016 M1. My TM M1 is too loud, so I'd like more subtlety.

Feel,sound,distance,price. I can’t justify 500$ for a driver,regardless how good it is. Mizuno and Srixon would be my choice I’m getting Z785 for a demo,and if it’s what I think it is,I will keep it. With pricing down to 299$ it will be no brainer Already got Srixon F85 3 wood to try,and I love it,it’s in the bag already for 179$

I'd go Mizuno as well. Shame they got rid of the blue, but with the adaptability I think it's a good choice. Never would have guessed it would be cheaper than the others, to be honest

One of the most legit vids I've seen in a while. I currently game a Mizuno JPX 900 driver, and just about every group I play with someone will want to hit my driver during the round at some point. I will likely be buying a NEW Miz driver this year, no question.

My Ping G25 is a miracle in my opinion as it goes “straight down the middle” on every drive. If I was to buy a new driver, my only considerations would be Ping G410 and Mizuno ST 200, as I game Mizuno irons.

awesome video...i just got fitted for a driver last week...the winner for me ended up being the PING G410 Plus ........was gaming the Taylormade M6 off the rack....ended up getting 43 yards further with the ping ( set up for my specs ) was very pleasantly surprised being that i am 55 years old....going for my irons fitting on Friday....very excited about this season cause this is the first time i have ever been fitted for my clubs......cheers all and keep safe

Bought the turbo launcher irons after your review. Got fitted and golf became more fun. Decided to try the turbo launcher driver and picked up some distance and am hitting the ball straighter and finding more fairways. Once again golf is becoming more fun. At 71 years of age fun is what is important. Not planning on joining the tour so playing better means more fun and that is what it is all about. Thanks for being so supportive in not worrying about looks but more about results.

Nice to include the prices as well, that's something I've been missing a bit. Considering it's probably the most stand-out thing for people, apart from looks, it's good to include in all tests. Nice overview as well!

And still amazed that you like the looks of the Ping so much, it always amazes me how different people's tastes can be. I would go Mavrik or Speedzone all day, and I absolutely loathe (loath?) the Ping, but that's the beauty of so many options :)

Got a Mizuno ST200G recently, consistant spin and no loss of distance compared to the others. Less than £300 with a Daimana D+ ltd shaft, that's good value today.

After watching this, 100% want to try the Cleveland the most. I understand the adjustability point with the Mizuno, but with a proper fit you arguably wouldn't need the adjustability. Seriously impressive piece of equipment for a price point of £279. Great video guys 👏🏼

Picked up my new Cobra today, for me it was the feel which gave me confidence which turned into tighter dispersion. That coupled with it being £349 sealed it. Oddly I didn’t want a Sim but still tested it as I wanted to get the best club for me regardless and it was a close call between the 2. Love that everyone finds and feels something different that makes them buy a certain club 👍🏻

Interesting the order of pricing in the UK compared to Canada. In Canada, pricing order is as follows: XXIO - $949 Ping - $699 Titleist - $669 Mavrik, Sim, Srixon - $649 Mizuno - $599 Cobra - $549 Cleveland - $449 Titleist always used to be the most expensive, but Ping has taken that spot for the past number if years for drivers, but Titleist is still the most expensive for irons and Vokey wedges. So for Canada, I think the Speedzone is the winner because it is the cheapest (except for Cleveland) sound, look and tech are right up there and they basically all perform the same.

@@chriscaldwell7656 you're correct, online at Golftown they only showed the ST200G. The G is the adjustable the standard ST200 is not and Coach said it was adjustable when he picked it so not sure if they used the G or not

Just returned from Phoenix, and took a new to me used Cobra BioCell head (circa 2014) that replaces a Fly Z+ head. I have never driven the ball better (straighter or farther). The right head for your swing makes ALL the difference in performance. Best golf ever in the desert. And yes, Wickenburg greens are wicked good and will test your putting sanity. Thx Muppets :-)

One of the things I love best about Mark is he has ball speed that many of us can relate to. Not many of us hit it 300 plus in the air. Mark, you do a great job with your reviews and though you hit it further than many a 250-yard golfer can still get a great idea what they can get out of the clubs you test. Keep up the great work. It`s a quality sign that you guys struggle to choose the best driver for 2020. As a consumer we have a luxury problem. I really like that you guys are so open minded and honest in this test. Even though you are sponsored, you give every club a fair test and a chance to perform equal ! I play a Cobra F9 now, but it looks that the new line of drivers perform better with off centre strikes. I think that is the biggest difference on the 2020 driver line up. Speed across the face. Thank you for a honest review ! Keep up the good work guys !!

I really want Ian from txg and Mark to have a podcast or vlog where they have the philosophical debate of fitting/equipment changes or changing a swing and keeping equipment as is. When do you choose one option over the other? I think the audience knows both are important but it's unclear to a lot of people when one is more important. Mark's Sim result here is a good example, he can tweak the driver but does he want to? Both sides of the argument have pros and cons and I feel like with their backgrounds, Ian and Mark would flesh out the entire argument in the right way for the audience. Plus Ian/Mark understand both sides of the argument so I think it wouldn't just be a shouting match.

Over the past year Ive had a Cobra Speed back, Ping G400 & G400 Max, Titleist TS3 and have settled on the Srixon Z85 with Project X Red Stiff shaft, best driver of them all for me. I like the adjustable neck, I haven't touched it...

Fabulous watch. Thanks guys. I'm a Ping convert on woods just based purely on my numbers and how I know they make quality kit with great tolerances. That Mizuno is such quality for the price! Seriously buy a Mizuno driver and 3 wood for 50 quid more than a Maverik driver (no brainer for most golfers surely). Add the 5 wood and still less than an XXIO 😁

The point not mentioned with the 299 mizuno is there are 24 shaft options , I bet the 400 plus drivers don't offer that many without there being extra cost involved. So mizuno definitely the best value.

@@ItsPaul87 You can also buy the Mizuno ST180 very cheaply on ebay as Mizuno turned its back on the blue head quite wrongly in some peoples eyes, i use it and think it looks a lot better, but others would disagree, the ST190 does not perform any better as proved in youtube vids.

You are 100% correct. Mizuno gives you the most NO-UPCHARGE Options with regard to both shaft AND grip. The same is true for their irons.

We’ve got TM, Callaway, Ping, Cobra, titleist and Mizuno in our club pro shop all nicely displayed - will be curious to see which sells best. I think the Mizuno will do well on the back of how much people are drawn to the display of their irons and the great price point.

I agree, numbers can change from day to day depending on strike...my choice is always on sound and looks...When you set a driver down and it looks great to your eye that's the one I'm gonna be confident with...unless I hit it and the sound turns me off that may change my mind unless I'm hitting line balls...then sound may not mean that much to me...great vid guys

Biggest challenge for manufacturers and club designers is NOT technological advancements, but rather small, almost micro "tech" that can be visually seen. This way the marketing department (the true heros) can tell a nice little story for us. If they end up making the package aesthetically pleasing, you've got a home run. Nobody does this better than TM. Fantastic looking drivers. They perform great. Their marketing definitely "shouts". And nowadays they have Tiger, Rory, DJ, Rahm, and Jason Day hanging out on RU-vid talking about how great the clubs are. Unbelievably brilliant. Never any longer, but always absolutely brilliant.

My Launcher has a higher pitch sound than my Taylor Made M1, but it's not any louder, just different. What matters to me is that it's just as long but more forgiving than the M1. I had a mishit today that the M1 would have sent into the woods. With the Launcher it still ended up in the fairway.

So basically, apart from price, all the drivers are so similar, it all depends on personal preference. So they are all the “best” driver. Conclusion: pay no attention to the marketing hype and test them for yourself 👍🏻. Great test and another quality video

Love it, great vid.. So in summary, make sure you get fit for the driver... if you have brand alliance, go for it.. failing that, go for looks, otherwise, if price is your motivator go Mizuno and put your savings into lessons... no one really makes a bad driver any more!!! Ping for me, but I'm a Ping fan..

Great video. It's amazing how little difference there is now between one driver and another. You have to get down to the nitty-gritty, or you have to buy into gimmicks to separate them. I don't like the looks of the supposedly best-looking Sim. I like the simplicity of the Cleveland, but I hate having to use hearing protection (I used to game a Cleveland Monster - loud!). I now game a Mizuno, and I think it's absolutely as good as anything else. I've never in my life owned a Ping driver, but it's hard to argue that they are good. Very good. And I've never spent as much on a set of irons as the cost of the XXIO. But Mark hits it great, no doubt.

But I think you've proved your prediction in an earlier video about why people wouldn't game the ST200s - it's really solid in all categories (probably above avg?) but not a winner in any. Meanwhile most buyers go into a shop with one main thing they wanna see/hear/feel..

I hit Taylor Made D.... Cleveland HB launchers iron's .....Cobra hybreds....love them all some days hate them all some day's....BUT I do love what MIZUNO is doing
