Gundam ghost is really me. But to be honest, jobby, you got me back to build gundam way back. So I understand when u were mentally done back then. Keep it up jobby, and thanks for this review...ask for zeta model kits in the past. All I can say is this "God is in heaven, so everything is right in world"
Yeah somebody who's built the 2.0 the spider fingers that are all ball joint kind of suck does transformation on the 2.0 is actually pretty good you get a space dock three figures and the mega launcher the reason they phased out the poseable fingers is because a lot of kits have trouble holding their weapons
Ok that was not the direction I saw the customary appearance going. Love how you are having the various Jobbsona's interact lately. Their confusion as to who each other are is a nice touch
Actually, the Perfect Grade Zeta Gundam doesnt have any parts forming on it aside from the shield(which every Zeta does obviously) and the landing gear, so I'm not sure why someone told you it has that. And as someone who owns several Zetas, including the Ver. Ka, the PG is absolutely my favorite with the smoothest transformation(yes, nicer than the Ver. Ka), as well as a plethora of pistons, springs, leds, and a ton of other awesome additions. The thing has actual suspension in its ankles, and an led beam saber.
Bandai used to have possible fingers they were not as stable as convention swappable hands and the possible hands sometimes struggled to hold their weapons. A perfect example of this is the early RG kits with their possible hands and even though the weapons were smaller ,and in turn lighter, the possible hands barely hung on to them.
Yeah I’m glad they removed those egregious poseable hands from their RG line. Who knows though, if they were to make an improved version of them like they have with the way they’ve changed the inner frames for the more recent kits (so from the RG Unicorn, 2017, to the present day), maybe people would actually want them.
Honestly perfer kf bandai go back to many hands ver than swappable 4 fingers because My MG Barbato barely can hold its mace while the P Bandai expansion set mace is impossible.
I never thought I'd live to see the day Jobby reviewed the Zeta Ver Ka. I expected it to be something he'd shelve indefinitely like the Real Action Heroes Eva Unit 01.
2:33 I wasnt expecting a kanye cameo here. Glad to see some more gundam ghost lore, and all this beef is building some tension with "but jobby" maybe he'll drop a distrack next. Or atkeast just a song. And happy birthday man, let us know what the dinosaurs were like
imma be honest, my first exposure to gunpla is your hg barbatos review. Almost a decade later and i'm still building! Its nice to see you review another gunpla!
@@stamariagerardjimelsolano8146 Ohhh yeah, he definitely should. That thing is another masterpiece of a kit. There’s also that new MGSD line where they made a Barbdatos in that style as well. From what I’ve heard for that line, people love those kits. Their next release is going to be the Wing Gundam Zero Endless Waltz. Im definitely getting that one.
Happy Birthday Jobby! Did you know? The Zeta Gundam's Beam Rifle can attach the Beam Saber blade into the barrel to function as a Beam Javelin! Absolutely genius weapon functionality!
Happy Birthday Jobby! Never expected that you will review MG Zeta ver.Ka, but this is an amazing review. First time this kit announced my reaction is "great now they recycle MG Zeta Ver.2.0 and slapped Ver.Ka label on it?" but boy how wrong I am, even if the transformation is still similar but it's MASSIVE improvement from the Ver 2.0 especially the wing OH GOD the wing I'm so glad it much easier to transform now. But what a massive bummer is there is no Hyper Mega Launcher now 😢one of my most favourite Gundam weapon. Also in the MG Ver 2.0 they included a standbase which is just a nice bonus that I can live without but without the Hyper Mega Launcher I really must reconsider whether to buy this kit or not 😢
Happy birthday Jobby! BTW, since you asked about our Zeta Gundam (horror) stories, the only Zeta I have is the High Grade Universal Century Zeta Gundam UC 0088. It's an older kit made for a cheaper line aimed at all ages rather than adult collectors (as is the case with the Zeta you just reviewed), so the color separation isn't that great and it partsforms (though given how it's smaller and the Zeta has an unusually complex transformation for a mobile suit I can excuse that aspect, especially considering how the fully-transforming Real Grade Zeta at the same scale is infamously fragile), but both modes are fairly solid, even if the shoulders are overly-tight since it has to hold a giant gun your model excludes. The actual horror aspect is my kit is a limited release version that comes with better detail and color separation than the version released at retail a year prior, meaning Bandai stuck better kit engineering behind an extra paywall.
The only thing holding me back from getting this kit just for the heck of it is parents😔 I got a job I make my own money and I got my own car and still my parents would never let it slide if I spent over 100 dollars on a model kit 😔
You got me into gunpla. I saw your HG Full Armor Gundam review which also introduced me to you channel and it pushed me to get the ver.Ka kit (which was a nightmare but it still holds a place in my heart)
Ya know this is kinda funny I was just talking about this gundam today with one of my friend who I recently got into gundam model kit building we’re actually about to attempt a perfect grade model so hopefully it goes well! Love your content jobby and keep swiveling man!
Happy Birthday Jobby (I'm sorry I couldn't finish that prime truck drawing I promised since february I had some school stuff but I'll send it to you when I can) Wish you the best man and hope you're doing ok
Oh, hey, JobbytheHong uploaded. *Sees the title and thumbnail* (☉_ ☉) *Sees the title and thumbnail again* (☉____ ☉) *Sees the title and thumbnail on more time* OMG, IT'S HAPPENIN!
Do you have the time to listen to me whine About nothing and everything all at once? I am one of those Melodramatic fools Neurotic to the bone No doubt about it Sometimes I give myself the creeps Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me It all keeps adding up I think I'm cracking up Am I just paranoid? Or am I just stoned? I went to a shrink To analyze my dreams She says it's lack of sex that's bringing me down I went to a whore He said my life's a bore So quit my whining 'cause it's bringing her down Sometimes I give myself the creeps Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me It all keeps adding up I think I'm cracking up Am I just paranoid? Huh yeah, yeah, yeah (Ooh, ooh) Grasping to control So I better hold on Sometimes I give myself the creeps Sometimes my mind plays tricks on me It all keeps adding up I think I'm cracking up Am I just paranoid? Or am I just stoned?
I've gotta say, I don't like the Zeta Gundam. I think it's pretty ugly and wildly impractica (not as impractical as the Double Zeta Gundam though!)l. BUT... I still have this kit. Katoki made some subtle tweaks to the legs and overall proportions that made it work for me.
Here as the guy to explain the Zeta Before the Ver.Ka Short answer:( RG )its so bad even hand grenades feel jealous ( HG ) Is parts forming and lots of sticker ( color correcting ones ) ( MG 2.0 ) Good for its time, ehh right now Long answer:for the RG ( real grade ) of the Zeta's and many other before the RG unicorn have frame that is prone to loosen over time because of the materials used ( abs or smt forgor ) and the zeta is the one of the worst offender, parts falling of everytime you transform it, Finnicky, and if you look at its general direction the damn thing explodes ( exaggerated ). The HG or high grade is very different from the RG and that its a parts forming unit ( if you dont know parts forming is when you need extra part to transform it to another form ) and contain quite alot of stickers ( on the wings especially ) but overall not bad if you want a zeta gundam. And the MG 2.0.... ohhh boy. The MG ( Master Grade ) 2.0 ( the second version of the same MG ) Is good.... For the time it was released. and when you buy it now its def more loose on the joint on my arm and legs so maybe get it if you cant get the Ver. Ka but you dont like the Zeta / have the other version skip this one Btw im speaking from my experience owning the kits ( not including the MG 2.0 its based on my friends and mines when playing it ) and sorry for any misspelling or wrong statement and.. Btw HBD jobby my man
As someone who has built a bunch of modern kits. no. no you don't want fully articulated hands. swappable hands are better. JFC the 3.0 hands are a nightmare.
14:34 As far as I know, PG Zeta does have a full transformation, but it, alongside some Zetas prior to this kit with a full transformation such as the RG, has major issues with stability and articulation Also somehow I was unlucky enough to break this kit’s elbow joint trying to transform it back to MS mode
He really missed out on a lot of good stuff over the years, good to see him back again for this even if its a one off. Anyway transforming models have gone a long way with the advent of kits like ZZ Ver, Ka and MG-Ex Unicorn.
Jobby idk if you will buy SH monsterarts Shimo I dont prefer you to buy it buy Hiya instead Hiya is more movie accurate and Sh just made the figure from the concept art while they had the finished design for Shimo but its your decision👍
Well if you want to torture yourself for no reason, then try the original RG Zeta Gundam, in Gundam community we call it "hand grenade kits" for obvious reasons So if you want to split your mind, do that
For me, the Horror Story of Zeta Gundam only applies to the RG model kit. They tried to make it into a non partsforming transformation which only resulted in the kit being a Hand Grenade. I still have mine but I glued it permanently to it's waverider mode and just bought an HG Zeta Gundam to display it in Robot Mode. Seeing the MG Zeta, it's what they wanted the RG Zeta to be but they failed to do so.
Hey jobby. may i suggest No.57 Manhunter? its a series of 1/24 scale model kits of these epic mutant robot animal things with amazing weapons. youll love it
Happy birthday jobby crazy that I’ve been watching you for so long honestly It’s nice to more gundam stuff and nice to see gundam ghost being wholesome honestly
I'm actually very glad Jobby is enjoying Gundam without the overbearing feeling of having to dress up the kit with paint or decals. You bought it, you built it, whether or not you detail it is all up to you.
That skit part at the end was awesome! You're the one that got me into Gunpla with the RG Evangelion review (also the reason why I'm into Evangelion) so it's awesome to see these model kit reviews again!
It's really nice watching this after getting into Gunpla myself. I was planning on writing an essay on how much I'd love more Gundam reviews from you, but I guess you've said it already. As always, loved the video, but this one in particular made me really happy. Thank you!
Honestly Gundam Ghost took the words right out of my mouth. You were the major reason why I started getting Gunplas in the first place, but I kept being subbed because your reviews were entertaining and hilarious. I mean you were able to talk about a (not)Lego statue of Astro Boy and I was still entertained. Whether or not you review more model kits, transformers, monsterarts, legos, I don't care. You're a good ass RU-vidr. Happy fricking birthday Jobby!
