Great video guys! Glad to see Jack back. Would be so dope if you guys made one video where Eric shaves his beard and maybe hair with a barber, showing different facial hairstyles in the process (Yeard, Longbeard, Medium beard, Corporate beard, Goatee with chinstrap, circle beard, van dyke, moustache, then clean shave). And another video with Greg cutting his long hair off showing different styles all the way down to a bald look or buzz cut (like he had back in 2005).

Eric! My dude! It’s been such a long time since I’ve been on Beardbrand... holy crap! So much change and I couldn’t agree more with the changes you guys have made. So clad I’m back into things. I also wanted to give you a quick life update since the last few YT Live videos nearly a year ago. September 27th 2018 I left Poland on pursuit of creating a better life for my wife (then fiancée) and myself. We started her visa process, she got here August 10th this year. 11 months apart, tough as all hell being away from her that long but we made it. We moved up North an hour outside of Pittsburgh. Got married September 9th and now are continuing on with her Green Card process. Just wanted to fill you in, it’s been an up and down journey but we put the work in and we are back together and happier than ever. During the entire journey, I didn’t shave once lmfao Have a good one bud, glad to see you guys again

Hey Eric u guys inspired me to grow a 6 month beard for the first time in my life it was killer totally loved it and your channel is awesome, I noticed all bearded men have a look they give each other like a silent club when u are rocking it, I shaved it off and instantly regretted it it was last year just started to grow it back recently that yeard must take a ton of patience , I think u should have a professional style a bunch of looks with pics like show different was to rock new looks when u cut it off, jacks was just done to fast for all that hard work he put into it but it was still enjoyable that’s for all the inspirational vids guys Keep on Growing

Loved the video Eric!!! I would like for you to do it kinda the way Greg did it. Go with a barber and surprise people haha! Like your reaction or the Beardbrand family reaction and stuff. Then, since we have never seen you start from 0, maybe you could do a 90 day beard journey. Greg and Jack have done it so it would be nice for the founder just to see how he starts from scratch. What is the minimum length this can be used on pls? Have about 1 and a half to 2 inchs. and how many times a week can you used it not to damage the hair pls? and always after beard shampoo? and can i used a head hair thermal spray to protect my beard pls?

I brought a couple of them but have gone back to the hair drier and round brush (as you guys recommend). If I allow the beard to get longer I will pull the straightening brush back out.

hey I have another question since Eric brought up a good point of repeated plucking of the same hair leading to the not bring able to grow anymore. Many times my trimmer pulled hairs, or my razor caught them from either shaving too slow or having dull blades. When these things happen, will any of my facial hairs eventually stop growing eventually? And can also rubbing my face too hard when my hands are kinda wet pull and strain any hairs as well? Thanks

Great video, thanks for the tips. I actually have a tip to give back. You can use sticky notes behind the desk to list all the product features of each item. When you look at the list it just looks like you're looking at the product. I thought you were using some notecard system until you pulled that phone out. Damn, man. You were made for this youtube shit 😂. I'd be stumbling over my lines like crazy for this.

TBH for those of us that can grow a great beard, like yourself, we always look worse without a beard than with beard. I always, always regret even trimming it too short, nevermind shaving it off. While I find your research aims to provide a reasonable picture about an arsenal of grooming products towards the beard-hair-segment, I support your analysis and results that demonstrate; (1) manufacturer's claims are completely void, (2) ALL performance markers are off by margins that questions the body of industry critiques, guides, and standards of equipment operation- Eric, we should work together on filming more projects, and please, let's establish contact by email.

Ya, as Jack said it's a 2018 Crosstrek and I had the dealer put in Katzkin leather seats since they weren't available for the trim I wanted. I had to get a manual transmission. :)

I was hoping to see a video of the products used and show the results. you have a frizzy beard like me and everything other than temp can easily be researched for their specifications online. Since thats all anyone can do other than buying one to see how it really works, tends to be why people are happy to watch people like you, but this was a waste of my time, just like this comment. I enjoy these informative videos and if you will be practical in future videos on what people actual want to see, then i will subscribe.

Don’t use clippers when you shave it. Think lather and a straight razor is all you need.

hi i have a question. If I got a bunch of ingrown hairs on my cheek and scratched it (only upward) and rubbed it alot cause it was itchy, would some of those hairs never come out again? My cheeks feels totally fine now but with darker spots, and I did kinda hurt myself at one point with the scratching

Na, you should be fine. However, repeated plucking of the same hair follicle will cause damage and potentially "kill" the hair.

Good question, at some point, those hairs will most likely come out. Be mindful of those ingrown hairs though, making sure to wash and exfoliate your face regularly to help prevent them. - Jack

Beardbrand Alliance Hey, thanks for your reply, as well as Eric’s. I should be good then. At least after several tutorials I can shave properly without irritation, haha. I mentioned that I have a skin condition that worsens with facial hair, but I got a face wash that’s supposed to relieve that so I’m gonna grow my beard again and see how it works. 3-4 day stubble so far!

We wanted to do a truly independent test that wasn't influenced by revenue. When I looked on Amazon for products, most of them were sketchy knock-offs or companies that stole our video content. I wouldn't recommend buying on there and instead buy from a more reputable retailer (Boots for example in the UK).
