@@PanTheOrganizer Oh my setup is so super simple. Just a basic 5.1 surround sound with wall mounted speakers + subwoofer. I used to have a projector but it was so old that I had no use for it so I sold it. Your setup is on a different planet compared to mine...😂

Nice set up Pan, the title Organizer fits you well. I still have my Pioneer VSX-7300 AV Receiver purchased in late 1980’s. Along with 4 Bose book shelf 4.2 speakers. Yes it’s old, but so am I lol. Vintage stereo equipment that lasts for ever.

As this is semi-analine leather, I would not recommend traditional leather cleaners and protectants. Use something dedicated for that, like the Valencia kit I presented at the end of the video.

That is an outstanding theater, Love those seats. Thanks for the video. I was very much into home theater in the past, even buying multiple Piano Black Canadian PSB Speakers. I also use to own that same Oppo and unfortunately had to sell my house and move and I now cannot find it. Really sucks. Oppo no longer make 4k players if I recall. I don't see how a player could disappear but then again I have a full size truck inner fender well missing also along with a DA. Inner fender is Huge. Its gotta be Aliens or the Bermuda triangle🤣 PS I still have the Oppo remote if you ever need one.😀

Yeah Oppo Digital really made the best blu-ray and 4K blu-ray players. They stopped making them a few years ago to focus on mobile phones unfortunately. :(

Hi Pan! I'm new to your channel and just checked out this video. I'm looking at purchasing 4 of these seats, especially the XL ones since I'm 260 pounds and 6'6". Would you definitely say it's worth the investment for the XL version vs the original? Will I be uncomfortable with the original because of my height?

I'm 6'3" and 235 lbs and yes the XL version is worth the extra. I had the previous normal version before, and although it was "ok" for my height, the XL is so much better, and the added width is also very welcome. And at your size, you'll like it even more.

Those Revel Performa Be are on a completely different level. You can't compare. And it wouldn't be a fair comparison as the Revel cost significantly more money. They're close to 31K CAD plus taxes here in Canada (for the center channel, and left + right speakers). The GoldenEar Triton Two+ and SuperCenter XXL cost a fourth of that price. The GoldenEar Triton Two+ are one of the best bang for buck under 10K for sure. Especially for home theater use. And they're super easy to drive. But the Revel are some of the best measuring speakers on the market (for those who value that) and sound much fuller and more precise. And they're also good for listening to music as well (although I have a separate dedicated HiFi setup for music, with Focal Kanta V2 speakers, REL S/3 SHO subwoofer, McIntosh MAC7200 receiver, etc). And they are by far the best sounding home theater speakers I have had the chance to test in the sub 40K price range.

@@PanTheOrganizer wow thanks for all the details! I currently have a full GE setup with all their flagship speakers. Triton Refs for front left and right, SuperCenter Reference, four of the HTR-8000 for Atmos and Triton Ones for rears along with Invisa SPS for side surrounds. I believe the Reference line is really a great value proposition and I enjoy for both music and movies. I also have two SVS PB16s which are earth shaking. Lol. Love your setup!

Oh wow! You have a pretty sick setup for sure. Congrats man! It's nice to exchange thoughts with other HT enthusiasts. This is my fifth complete home theater overhaul, so I'm sure you know what I mean when I say that it's a never ending passion/obsession/hobby haha. I'm always on the hunt for the next best thing. The Triton Reference series are also a big notch above the Triton Two+ that I used to have. What power amp and processor are you using? Before having dedicated flagship Marantz AMP10 and AV10 amp and surround processor, I had a flagship Marantz SR-8012 receiver. Although it was quite powerful, I wasn't ready for how much of a big different getting separates would give me. The AMP10 is a 16-channel (yes you read that right, 16 channels!) at 200W per channel. It's on another level. I hear sounds and details I never heard before when watching my reference demo movies.

@@PanTheOrganizer yeah I am always looking, it’s a passionate hobby. I use two McIntosh MC-207 7 channel amps which produces 200 wpc and I use a McIntosh MX-160 processor. I use to have a few flagship Marantz receivers, then I went the separates route with Anthem. I really hear the upgrades each time, especially with room correction. The McIntosh had the best I have ever experienced except Trinnov. The McIntosh uses Room Perfect which is a software they license from Lyndorf. I think my next upgrade might be adding two more subs for more seat to seat consistency.

Would have been nice to see a review of your old Valencia seating and how it held up. Quality and durability is very hard to determine when something is brand new. Do you have any specifics on how you determined the durability and claim that it will last a lifetime?

I had my previous row of four seats for almost four years, and a single seater before that for five years. They were litteraly like new. Not a single issue to report. Not even one undone stich. I hope you understand that when people say things “will last a lifetime” that it’s a figure of speech to say they are super well built. I don’t think anyone expects things to last 100 years lol. So not sure what “specifics” you want, but I’m by far the RU-vidr with the most hands on experience with these and I think I’m well positioned to talk about them. If you don’t live like an animal and take care of your things, they should last a very long time. These are superbly built and the quality is second to none. I have yet to see or test better home theater seats. I hope this helps.

I bought a sofa and love seat from Valencia a few years ago. They are similar to the ones in this video. Out of 4 control panels, 3 of them stopped functioning. One stopped working within a few months and i replaced it. Valencia sent the first replacement panel free of charge. Then shortly afterwards, BOTH panels on the love seat stopped working, and Valencia is asking $100 each for replacement panels. Overall, I'm not at all impressed with the sofas, especially for the high price. I ordered mine with the top-of the line leather, but I don't see or feel any difference in quality from any other sofa leather. I'm beginning to think maybe it isn't the top grade leather after all. The fit and build quality are less than average. You can feel hard lumps in one of the sofa seat cushions. One of the seats is also tilted at a slight but noticeable angle. The overall workmanship is just not very good. You would do better to just go to your local furniture store for a similar item at a fraction of the price instead of spending extra money on having it "custom made" by Valencia.

Do you worry that the headrest will block your non-6'3" guests from the rear channels? (I assume you have rears/heights) That's always been my concern when considering an upgrade on my front row.

Money super well spent. We still go to the cinema as a day out with the kids but having a home theater is both a privilege and a blessing.

I agree. I much prefer watching a movie at home than going out. It feels special being in that room. It's a relaxing moment, and private. My girlfriend also absolutely loves our home theater, and she usually never cares for electronics haha. In my living room, I have a flagship Sony Bravia XR Master Series A90J 4K OLED 83" TV, and another LG 4K OLED 65" in a guest room. Both calibrated by a leading industry calibrator. The house is packed with cool electronics. One of my passions haha.

This has nothing to do with RU-vid Jeffrey... Funny how people assume RU-vid buys you all this fancy stuff, and a Porsche 911 Turbo S, etc... You'd need millions and millions of subscribers to get a car like that. A lifetime of hard work, a high paying job, and investments in the financial markets is what got me to where I am today. I just want to be very clear. I don't want the younger generation to think that you just pick up a camera, start making videos, and you can start buying fancy cars, watches, home theater equipment... It doesn't work that way. Being successful on RU-vid is very very hard. Much harder than my university studies in medicine. I am proud of my achievements on RU-vid (being top 3 detailing channel, with almost 900,000 subscribers and 110 million views) but RU-vid is not the most important source of revenue for me. Don't get me wrong, RU-vid is great, but it takes years and years of hard work before you get to live off the revenue.

That is also true. I have been detailing cars for over 25 years now, and that's back breaking work for sure. But it's so gratifying and always nice to see a customer's reaction to the end results, and it's also soothing and relaxing to me.

@@PanTheOrganizer considering how much time and effort you put into your brand, including RU-vid videos, it was my assumption that it was your primary gig. Also, you are the top of the top as far as influencers go, so again another assumption that’s where your revenue comes from. But I digress, you always reply to my comments, and that says a lot about your character. Plus you seem like a nice guy that has managed to remain humble, not like one of your friends who, despite his incredible success, comes across on video as just so arrogant and miserable.

Thanks Jeffrey. I appreciate the kind words. I prefer to let my actions speak for themselves, no need to boast or act like I'm better than anyone. I'll let people be the judge of that. Unfortunately, this world isn't very receptive to successful people, for many reasons, so I just share my passion with my viewers, in hopes to connect with other like-minded individuals who share common passions. :) But my dad came from a very poor upbringing and lost his dad at a young age. He had to start working at the age of 12 (worked 48 years of his life) and was a great example to me as to what hard work can do for a family. So I kept my head down, and studied hard in school, was always top of my class, in order to make sure I wouldn't have to go through the hardships my dad went through growing up. He also taught me to stay simple. So despite me having access to buy a lot of the things I dream about, I still stay grounded to earth and still love eating at McDonald's or doing simple things. I mainly love giving to others and treating my friends and family to special things, as they mean the world to me.

The same people that can afford 20K projectors and 30K speakers, 20K amps hehe. These aren’t inexpensive, but they are worth every penny for those who have the budget. Heck there are people with a million dollar home theater in this world. So they need seats to match.

"One thing they did upgrade for the buttons on the control panel, no lights. So nothing to distract you." Now watch as I turn on the underseat, color changing flashing lights. LOL. Maybe they should have the ability to turn the button lights on and off the same way they allow a person to turn the under seat lighting on or off. But honestly great review. Good to see someone about my same height have plenty of room and support in a theater chair. These are on my short list for my next dedicated home theater.

Thanks Darren. To be clear, you can turn the underseat lighting on or off. As you wish. I keep them off while watching. They are truly the best seats I have ever tested, and/or owned. By a long shot.

Adam's has better products compared to Chemical Guys in my opinion. But both brands are more consumer grade, so focused for the average weekend warrior. They aren't meant for professional use, hence why professionals stick to pro grade brands like CarPro, Gyeon, Gtechniq, Koch Chemie, etc. Adam's and Chemical Guys are competitors to Meguiar's, Turtle Wax, Mothers, and those types of brands.

I wasn't sure if I'd notice a big jump in performance compared to my previous JVC NX7 (which was already very good), but yeah the NZ8 is on another level. The increase in lumens from 1950 to 2500 (among other upgrades) is pure bliss. And no more changing lamps. :)

You won't regret!! In your case, you will see a MASSIVE jump in all aspects: brightness, contrast, sharpness, motion handling, and you'll get all the latest tech like HDR. JVC is really my favourite projector brand, mainly because of its unmatched black levels and contrast.

I sold my previous NX7 for a steal. The person got it for 5K CAD with a brand new genuine JVC bulb, and my previous bulb that only had 1,500hrs as a backup. Plus it was professionally calibrated by one of the best in the business. The buyer was sooooo happy, especially knowing it came from me, as it was in mint condition, like new. That projector had cost over 10K with taxes just a few years ago, and still sells for a hefty price when new.

I once had Lay-Z-Boy seats in a previous theater in my previous house. (You can see them in an older home theater tour I did here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L6Y1r3eRSjk.html) They were good value and comfortable. But nowhere near the quality and customization of these Valencia seats. :)
