That PS motor needs only an o-ring to be replaced. Mine did the same(06 civic) and was told by a mechanic the leak was due to a worn out o-ring which costs less than $1 at the dealer. 70K miles later, still no leak.

I had a timing chain break on a 1994 Volkswagen Jetta turbo diesel. What a disaster that was for the engine. IT reved up super high, I turned off the key...didn't do anything. The engine reved and smoked like wild until it ultimately died in a most spectacular way. It reved up and smoked until it just stopped, and a huge splash was heard directly afterward. Nasty.

We've got one exactly the same but silver, seriously good car. It's towed boats around and still going strong while getting close to 250 thousand miles. I'm of the belief it's due to blow up any time now but to be honest it's been so reliable and trustworthy for us that it's not going to disappoint us when it does. Until then, we'll keep using it! The only issue we had was the ignition coils needing replacing, couple hundred dollars second hand and no worries for years now although I get the feeling they will need changing again soon if the car doesn't die completely.

I don't understand why Honda doesn't do what Ford and some of these other car companies are doing... Go retro. Its clear they got it right the 1st time around. So go back to basics. The original interior is probably the best I've ever seen hold up. All the fun little extras (table, drawer under the seat, fold it back to a bed). Go back to the older body style so you don't feel like you're driving a minivan. But, then put airbags/sunroof/backup camera or update the radio/get rid of the timing belt... Adjust the things that were problematic. I bet it'd be the best selling car that year. Heck, even the next 5. I've never seen the appeal of it brand new car. But I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Scotty, how come in almost all of your videos, there's always a pile of leaves visible on the firewall when you pop the hood up? Don't ya'll blow these things out?

Hi Scotty, I don't know if you have a video about all wheel drive vehicles, it's just that it 's still a little confusing to me. My wife's Nissan Pathfinder says 4wheel Drive. We had a Subaru that was Allwheel Drive. I've seen vehicles that says 4 wheel drive all the time, other says 4X4 etc. My wife's car got stuck in the snow a couple of weeks ago with all the snow that we had here in Chicago, so I started wondering why It got stuck even with 4 wheel Drive in LOCK. Thanks Scotty I always watch your videos they are very interesting and informative. A
