Knight getting hard-exposed LMAO, easy G2 3-0 BLG. The most overhyped overrated Ahri one trick, disabled Azir midlaner since forever, was carried by Ruler Kanavi 369 combo for all of 23. Game 1 Ahri best champ still misses 99% of E at close-range LMAO
For me, this is the most enjoyable Caedrel watchparty ever. He's fully engaged from the draft, to the actual gameplay. He praised both sides, critcised both, and explained both POV. Super nice.
T1 vs Gen.G was also very good. I'm happy he's not going full degenerate in important series, it's a bit of a turn off considering he is a very insightful caster when he's serious.
@ndnd7614 He only truly becomes the best this year. When did he clear T1 on worlds in the past? He always choked in international until now. You don't need to fake the past to praise his current form
@@micco35 don't be insecure just let someone be complimented for once. watchinf all the games and knowing the meta and teams is still impressive don't you agree?
Objectively this is the best MSI ever. With how many banger series so far and No same region matches. Close games and good showings by multiple regions. We eating good this year
@@theultimaterage675 PSG made me Rich for a week put in 20 dollars during the match againts flyquest after they won i put in 50 dollars for them to win atleast 1 game and 20 dollars on 3-2 blg. the odds were insane. I also put 5 dollars 3-2 imagine if they won lmao. that was x100 3-2 PSG.
Chovy's only real weakness is himself on internationals but now he seemed to have overcome it. I thank Doran and Peanut for taking the choke out of GenG with them 🙏
@@philcabauatan9089I’d rather have delight tbh, but yeah lehends personality on the team is def what they needed. Without him we’d have 4 introvert nerds and my goat and handsome chovy
if GenG keep their form theyd be menacing at worlds. meta favors chovys pool rn, once meta shifts he won't be such a hypercarry. sick how good he is this year
@@fashlimakarim6757 I don't think it was possible now since they changed the items, and the whole map but Canyon was literally the jungler who made the 3:02 clear with Nidalee. I've tried that multiple times my best has always been at 3:15 or 3:20. I don't think you can do that now with this map and the items but 3:02 with Nidalee was pretty impressive. On top of that, he also ganks his lanes pretty often. Edit: These are not timestamps from the video. I'm talking about the time clear he invented with Nidalee at 3:02 way before everything changed.
21:20 Man, you make the draft phase so much more enjoyable with your insights... That's something that's really lacking in the regular cast and you provide it so flawlessly. Calling the ban changes and the Ksante pick adaptation was really interesting. Thank you for all the good work, keep it up !
I'll say it as many times as I want, but Canyon is the best Jungler to ever play the game. Consistently, Carrying, Champion Pool, World Champion, and Longevity. Dont even mention Bengi 3x, because yall know he ain't that good, he was just another Faker ward.
@chonyun1991 Agree, I do question his decision-making sometime and I definitely seen him int a few Dwg and Gen G game, lol, but his longevity from 2019-2024 through these 5 years is insane, considering most players best years only lasts 2/3 years
@@realiascailt he was prob referring to how well all the midlaners have been playing at this tourney. Chovy, Knight, Caps, Humaniod (playoffs stage), and even Apa in some games
i want GENG to be the goat for several years now, i hope they keep this roster, they looks quite good togheter, seems like chovy realy needed that TOP / JNG BUFF, they are a real superteam its cool to watch. Bot is also amazing, people understimate peyz, this guy had a crazy start in the LCK, hes so good
When you dont have Doran who ints all the time, and peanut who runs it down. I knew canyon and kiin were upgrades to Geng. Now they are just one win away from not being international janitors.
@@kaisa1_ Yep, and although Canyon looks like he inted some games, He´s Canyon, he will pick a Carry and win you the fkn game. Like, picking Nidalee on a game 5 close to a reverse sweep its what the best jungler in the world would do
Tbh, Chovy its out of this world. Even without looking at stats, gapping every midlaner, I think its a good way to prove it. Well deserverd this final GenG. And even if they get 2nd, I think this is clear message of their intencion this year
@@ducanhle2828ya maybe but it’s really hard now to BE faker… like being him isn’t even really about winning anymore, it’s just about the impact he made in league, and I don’t think anyone can really make that impact anymore. Unless chovy can win like 16 champions, and like somehow make every come and watch him and come back and play league again. He’s not the next faker
@@stevenchen9852 True true, although Chovy is THE BEST MIDLANER by far, being Faker is not about having X amounts of championships, I think Faker its LolEsports image, being on the top level for 10 years+. About T1 Chovy, I dont think it will happen tbh, GenG would never let Chovy go, plus Canyon just joined, I think they will make some good runs from now
"gapping every midlaner"? He was gapping eastern mids, not Caps though. Eastern mids are heavily overrated. Caps is coming to annihhilate him to teach what is actually carry mid.
@@ducanhle2828 Chovy clearly wants to forge his own path, I don't think he would ever join T1. GenG have never looked better and they've finally broken the LPL curse afflicting them.
I like how Caedrel is so into GenG during the ban phase and he actually pinpoints GenG's weird pickban. But Chovy though... he is just a monster whos completely out of common sense.
Holy, this msi is so stacked! We've already had like 4 or 5 series that could easily be finals an we're not done with bracket with t1, g2 and blg still in the mix. I'm gonna lose my mind before we even get to grand finals.
Ya but wish JDG and especially hanwha life was here to compete too. They honestly also deserve it this year. My mans viper and ruler been sitting in a corner for way too long… can’t wait for worlds honestly
@@fwble_3888 For real, dude is straight up delusional if he needs people to point him out where Knight got gapped as if it wasn't throughout the whole serie lmao
Imagine doran and peanut were here instead of canyon n kin. That game where 9 mid champs were taken/banned without kinsante n canyon the game is lost. Finally chovy has teammates.
Bro I don't know why an esports team does not pay you good money to be a coach/analyst. The insight you give into games is a tier above all the casters. You would be an absolute unit for your team.
After game 1 GenG quickly figured it out. One was the lack of damage in their draft the second one was BLG ganking bot on level 6. They read them super well
@@mircorporation4905 I felt like he’s a good top but Zeus and Bin are probably slightly better. But they definitely deserve some champ over T1😆 especially international one. Looks like they will get it soon
@@shihaozhang2500 Bin is for sure the best top currently, he can and does carry by himself. Zeus has the capability but he is getting cucked by current meta or by tank duty. Kiin is not carrying, nor does he need to, since he has Canyon Chovy. What Kiin is good at is always being useful and having a diverse pool. He doesn’t really fall behind either. While not “better” than Bin and Zeus, he is definitely a great fit for GenG. All he needs to do is not int, which he does better than Zeus (Bin is just better tho). So it is Bin>Zeus>Kiin when it comes to player and skill lvl, but Bin>Kiin>Zeus when it comes to playing for the win (in current meta!!!) IMO. I should give credit to Zeus’ random enlightement moments when he taps into some transcendetary mind state and just claps everyone. He’s like the JackeLove of top lane.
@@mircorporation4905 yeah I agree join is a stronger version of gimgoon flandre etc, perhaps on par with duke or kingen. He’s quite different to Khan, the shy and bin. Different style works differently in different scenario haha
Chovy was always good. It's getting better every year. The most important thing is that there is no doran and peanut in Gen.G. Those two can't beat the Chinese player.
one of my favorite watches ever just due to how insightful caedrel is. his knowlege is actually ridiculous, practically anytime he opens his mouth i learn something
Chovy with young top/jungle is unstable. The macro genius of Canyon and the stability of kiin are exactly what Chovy needed to be able to execute his gross, gap inducing micro while avoiding game breaking mistakes or overstep. Same dynamic with lehends and peyz
Yeah this watchparty was great i love commentator caedrel, like when he starts rapping what's happening in team fights and stuff. Also the way he talks about the map and where everyone should be going and why
I so strongly agree with caedrels point on the players picking what they're good at, really makes the best of an international tournament seeing the styles clash. Both for entertainment but also it seems to have given underdog teams besides just G2 more of a fighting chance. I hope this continues to outweigh being shackled to what's most op on paper.
GenG breaking their curse. Also shoutout to Peyz and Lehends for actually playing very good this series. Canyon also popping off when the team needed him to.
I feel like Gen G is the prime version of T1 and that's sad to say coming from a T1 fanboy like me. Hopefully, T1 at least makes it to a rematch with BLG, but seeing how G2 performed recently in their recent series, it's hard to count them out. Church of Chovy really coming to life at the international stage this year! LFG!
