Google probably doesn't mind ad blockers, given that they are available on the crome webstore. They know only a small percentage of tech savy people use them, and they were never going to click on the ads anyway. This kind of improves their clicks per ad ratio.
@@MrDuck420 I am talking about the icthyosaur that appeared during the early Triassic and went extinct in the Jurassic. It would have been helpful if Arun remembered to mention that.
6 reasons to not use opera or gx 1. Privacy violating 2. Propitary 3. Fake VPN service 4. Involved in predatory loan scams (The 2 others are by John Smith WE NEED MORE TO PROVE WRONG OPERA GX) Edit 1: ty for 21 likes tysm I never got 21 likes
@@John-Smith02 while it's technically Chinese it's head quaters are in EU so they have to bind by its rules. It's still a hazard to your computer but a very less one.
I regret using opera, found out they have a fake vpn service and if they were bonest, they would say "Privacy is not our policy! Tracking and sending geolocation to China is our first priority!"
@@therelatablegamer7012Opera is owned by a Chinese company as well as it fully operates under Chinese laws. It’s extremely reliable if you want all your data to be stolen and used by the Chinese government!
@@Doby-xc1le don't get so cocky bro I was just being sarcastic because no one uses Opera anymore and that's obvious that it's a paid promotion. Why would he use opera🤣
On phone, Chrome is a the way to go due to their integration and features. But as soon as you get to laptop operating system, no one is matching brave. It is literally heaven using it.
After you have installed opera you have to open the link again and choose opera for activity then it will open in opera and ask for permission to apply theme
Yes, you are doing something wrong. You're trying to download a browser that is KNOWN to be shady, have a horrible privacy policy if you actually read it, and are Chinese owned.
@@dxniii. yeah? the man's gotta make a living By the way you phrased your comment you're making it seem like it's a problem what you expects him to pump out high quality content without eating? you think the crew behind the videos do it for free too? You are so delusional it's beyond my comprehension
As a person who actually used opera before I can confirm it is the second best browser. Behind tor, because it’s privacy measures are much higher, you need a fingerprint to unlock the browser. But, if you want a quick browser opera is the best option
Nope. Vivaldi is even more underrated. In fact, there’s a fairly high chance that there’s another browser which is even more underrated, but you can’t tell unless you have absolute perfect knowledge of the browser market, from browsers with billions of users to browsers with one user. Rundown (copied from a reply I made to another comment on this video): You should all be using Vivaldi. It was created by the cofounder and former CEO of Opera, who got forced out of the company due to his resistance to monetization pressure in 2011. Opera slowly lost its unique features, especially in 2013 when it deleted many while moving away from their Presto engine. Vivaldi was initially created as a replacement for their My Opera community, which was shut down by Opera between 2013 and 2014. Opera would eventually sell out to a Chinese investment company in 2016, but by that point the Vivaldi community had launched a browser of their own, with the goal of being what Opera once had been, that is, innovative. To this day, it still has more built-in features than any other browser I know of.
@@Gluonz I'm sorry but I tried vivaldi and the UI is absolute dogshit, it has so many built in useless features, like an Email and A GODDAMN CALENDAR, you may like it sure, but it is absolutely not for everybody.
I hope you guys know that Opera is owned by a Chinese company and the browser fully operates under Chinese laws. If you think the spy ballons were bad, imagine how much they spy on people using their apps / browsers (Tiktok, Opera, etc). I would never put my data at risk of getting in the hands of the Chinese government.
@graeme2418 How many years? Were you there in the Presto days? I’ve been actually using Opera for a few months and i can say that it’s definitely nice and more smooth in my opinion, It’s definitely a nice browser to use when you want to customize your PC/Phone a little bit more.
