The All-American Stretch are sbsolutely worth the money. I wear them everywhere and while doing anything and they still hold on. Still comfortable as well
I did a lot of research about the denimhead stuff. Not washing for months, handwash in the tub, soak in the tub, etc., but my favorite way is to simply tumble dry on low, and then hang dry. I also never go more than like 2 weeks without washing, and I always wash when they smell ir get dirty.
i agree with you. I tend to wear the Everday version more, as I feel like I will ruin the more expensive All American version. But I find the All American's to be a bit more comfortable on me. I say this as I am sitting here wearing the Vidalia Selvage jeans on week 2. I do find these to be a bit stiffer (14 oz Selvage denim will have that feel), but I am on week 2 of breaking them in. I did cold soak them for an hour after a few days pr wear, and the water was clear. So there is not a lot of starch in these jeans as you might see in other selvage denim. But I do plan on wearing these as my daily driver for some time as see what fades I will get out of them. And wait some time to give them a good washing in the mashine. Just make sure to turn them inside out before tossing them in the washer!
Nice! I haven't washed mine yet. I'm sure they'll soften up and feel more comfortable over time. I'm actually excited to own some non-stretch jeans again.
“Selvedge” not salvedge edge. “Sanforized” not sanfordized (however dude who invented the process is named Sanford…so wtf) I bought a pair of Unbranded a month ago and watched a couple RU-vids. This makes me an expert now on all things selvedge. Watch out In all seriousness I appreciate your videos!
🤣Thanks for your expertise! You can probably tell that the strange world of denim appreciation is pretty foreign to me. I'm thinking about doing another video comparing the likes of Brave Star and Kato, but I'm really going to have to educate myself.
