Try harby pedals and get Harby Centauri modified with Clean knob, JB mod switch, and LED clipping switch. It's a up there with original klon pedal.

Good video. Thanks. Only two points: this pedal is now unavailable AFAIK and Tom's playing is so amazing that some of us cannot relate to his tones as they are truly "unobtanium" for most of us.

Please use just the amp and the pedal that you are demoing as some content to look into. I only mention this as most people that demo ont' youtube use extraneous piles of kit to run IR's etc. So a stripped to the bare bones review of a pedal would make a change. You could lead the charge on this way of demoing pedals. Let's hear different amps too.

Sorry guys, but that pedal isn`t great. It`s the player and his gear. I`ve testet it and it sounds horrible in opposite of the Nobels ODR-1. Have a comparison and decide then.

Tone is subjective. Everyone’s ear is different. I have the germanium Tumnus and I think it sounds incredible! Wampler knocked it out of the park.

Agree. And most pedals sound best when combined with an amp or a modeler that no one can afford

It’s much easier to afford a modeler than buying $50k worth of the actual gear (arbitrary figure, but basing that on some rare amps like Dumbles, vintage Marshalls, AC-30s, etc). For instance, a ToneX + TC 2290 + Tumnus + Strymon Big Sky all add up to the price of a modeler that can generate not only those tones but many more, including the demoed pedal (eventually). You can also go the budget route and get great results (Helix Native plugin comes to mind).

This is the best Klon so far imo, though the differences are mostly heard when pushed through a good amp, especially moving some air. It sounds now absolutely identical to the OG Klon but smaller.
