If you grow Dahlia from seed it won't be true to the type most likely. If you love the variety save the tuber. That will be the exact same Dahlia. :-)

I just found you on RU-vid. It saves so much money saving seeds. The bouquet dill is used for pickling cucumbers for pickles and such. It is a pretty bloom. It will self sow. It's also good to refresh the breath. I love your videos. I subscribed. Im getting ready to sow my flower seeds today it's rainy here in Ohio. Have a great and fun Summer 🏝️

Oh i would love to know what type of forget me not you grow? I tried last year growing from seed and they just didn't do good at all. (I'm in East Tennessee 7a) so they should do fine but whatever type it was did not thrive.

I’ve only ever heard that the moonflower seeds are poisonous. I started some zinnias and they were coming up and the slugs ate all the seedlings except 3. Any ideas? I read coffee and egg shells.

The slugs and roly pollies are bad this year! I bought sluggo plus and I'm hoping it will help!

Beer traps, collecting them by hand (yuck) and egg shells helped me when slugs were a major problem and eating all my pepper plants.

I saved seeds from Agastache and Strawflower last year, and had amazing germination from them this year! (winter sowing) I also saved seeds from zinnias, but I may have collected them too early and it's too soon to tell yet if they'll be as successful.

@thesoutherndaisyllc It was my first year growing flowers, so I was just happy that the strawflowers actually grew and had blooms. 😂 I dried a few of them too.
