I think people JYP has ideas where to take nayeon and jihyo. Nayeon solo are mostly her talking about her. It's just her world and she is talking about herself and effects she has on people. It's bright and colorful. Less desperate and more fun. "Doesn't have to be complicated. No, there ain't no problem tonight". "I wanna make it, pop pop you want it." "A-b-c-d again and again, I'll teach you how to fall in love" "You've come into my fantasy, you can't escape my gravity" ""When I put a spell on you and the energy starts to build your got it, it's just like magic". Jihyo on the other hand is less magical, talks about interpersonal relationships and emotions rather than herself. She talks about desire, desperation, emotional pull, physical intimacy and so on.. Every song of her mentions someone very very specific (in romantic and sexual desperation) unlike nayeon who generalises even if someone is mentioned in her songs. "I m losing all my sense , you are taking me to places, you are killing me good" "Now I'm always gonna want more, youre the only thing I came for." "I just can't leave you alone, can we get even closer babe??" Nayeon is the famous girl, who has a vibrant energy and can take anybody into ecstacy. She talks in magical vocabulary. Everything she mentions is about people in general not somebody in specific. Meanwhile jihyo is kind of sultry, desperate, real. Going through emotions. She becomes real. She mentions physical entities. And that's why, ABCD belongs to nayeon. The song never gets real, it's still delusional girl in her delusional dreams..of being centre of attraction. Jihyo would never talk about this. (Lmao it's so long 😂)

I think we need to talk about Lia’s blossom, I do not see enough people talking about this song like it’s genuinely so beautiful. I feel like i'm the only person who wasnt the biggest fan of Cheeky Icy Thang. For some reason it felt like i was waiting for ages for it to hit and the fact that it was so short didnt help. Maybe it needs time, but initial feelings, it's stayc's first miss for me sadly😭😭

9:02 I would’ve liked Rockstar a bit more I think if it wasn’t so repetitive like the chorus and pre chorus makes up about 70% of the song. When I heard the chorus in the beginning I was like “oooo that’s catchy and fits Lisa well, I like that” bu then by the end of the song I was like, how many times is she gonna say this chorus. That sing bridge was like a breath of fresh air and continues to be my favorite part of the song. I wish it had more verses in between and maybe a slightly more built out bridge and take out like 3 of the choruses

Virtual angel is sooo beautiful the poignancy & ethereal vibes is out of this world, this is my first time listening to Artms and I might check their other work, also I’m excited to see Enhypen’s new comeback. I love stayc and I legit love all their songs (bsides and title tracks) from run2u to bubble to beautiful monster to poppy with maybe teddybear being my least fav due the intrumental. But once again I even love that song. But this new title track is not doing it for me :( I dont like the autotune on their voices and the lyrics are also meeh to me. I think if it was a bit less 'messy' id love it so much. Gave me run2u vibes

Ascendio is one IVE’s best title track for me and it made even more impact when they released a music video, solid 9.5/10 I never follow them but the mini-album they released is good For the b-side, I like Ice Queen

something about ABCD DOESN'T work for me unfortunately.. it feels like they've tried to mash and cram too many things together to me. no peak, no valley, just everything full intensity going in all directions at once which sound confusing and flat to me. like i like the sound of the chorus but i feel like it would need its own song if that makes sense at all. i feel like there's no breathing room in the song which makes it hard to digest, and i can't distinguish the narrative ark of it
