This in-depth tutorial will teach you how to become the ultimate slasher in NBA 2K24! I discuss how to do all the finishing moves in NBA 2K24, when to do them, and some secrets that might just give you the leg up against the competition!
I don't, it makes it were bums can't beat skilled players from just pushing one star player that's hot and ruins the whole momentum of your play. That's what I hate. It can be very hard to come back from big lead because it litterly makes it harder for you. I don't like that
The level of detail in your videos man 👌🏾. Keep pushing out this top tier content! I’ll try to hold down the MyTeam streets until you join 🤣. Also, Chef Curry on the way 👨🍳🔥
I've been silently watching your videos even during my work shift but yes need practice practice and thanks for your tutorial. Very simple tutorial and knowledgeable. Please continue more but more importantly if you can also do tutorial like for PLAY NOW MODE
Bro, your content has improved by a lot. I hear the confidence with your voice and the content is just excellent. I'm enjoying the game the way it's meant to be played.
Thanks so much for this man, I was still using the switch back and double throw commands for euros and hop steps. Pressing down left and down right on the right stick so much easier to pull off!
I just gave up on using the right stick for my euro steps last year and had no idea they had changed it. Been just double tapping square every time I want it. I'll have to give this stuff a try later; I definitely prefer using the right stick for everything if I can.
Man, they didnt change much from an input pov, but the way things work is so much better. Layups are way more viable, and floaters are the best IMO! you’re gonna love it bro!
That's tough because in real life your coach will say to layup with the hand furthest from your defender so they have to reach and foul you to get to the ball.
Kev..... have you played the game? It's time my man. Get out of the basement. The sun is out there LMAO. But on the real thank you for all you do and all you will do.
Thank you Jeebs!!! Honestly I have not played outside of labbing lmao. But just working hard to help everyone get right, then I’m gonna have fun with it this year! Appreciate you man!
@@KevinCruz016 I’m serious too I became a sub 2k23 when you showed triple threat tutorial ever since I’ve been playing better and yo vids helped mainly 💯
Lavine, Derozan, Book and Tatum are my favorites for wings! For small guards I love Curry and Donovan Mitchell’s! Jokic’s animations are fun but are so slow, so maybe Embiid for bigs!
Question, do you think the boost to finishing you get with taking the meter off is bigger than the boost you get from having pro touch on HOF? Which requires the meter if I’m not mistaken?
Pro touch boost should matter more than the meter off boost for layups - especially considering how vastly different timings are for different layups. While I still think you should keep the meter off, I think turning it on should be fine if you have Pro Touch on HOF!
I would say that you will find consistent success at around 84 or 85, being able to finish through occasional contact and at times tough contests! As a guy who loves layups, 80 is the lowest I’d go! Now if you want to go crazy and be really elite, 91 is the minimum and with that level you’ll be pretty unstoppable as long as you take the right kind of layups!
The only thing different are the Euros and Cradles which are done by double flicks from left to right. Otherwise everything is good, but layups are not as effective as in 24
bro you are a monster this year. I just got the game late bc i had to get a new series x , got it wednesday, so i needed these vids. Thx again. @@KevinCruz016
Like you explained in your previous video, they did put some ProPlay stuff into 2K23 for bigger name players, I'm currently trying to find all the animations they put into it. ( im personally not gonna buy 2K24, or anymore 2K until we get the current gen version for PC)
It would be a crime to give PC next gen with cross play, y’all already have a cheating issue that 2K has gave up trying to solve. I know this as I mod 98% of my games on PC so it makes sense 😂
I think PC users should be as loud as they can (while still being respectful) in demanding a new port. Its time, its been time! The potential for this game on PC is nuts. I’d say the core tutorial stays the same, just new animations probably didn’t make it, which is a shame.
@@KevinCruz016 yeah it's ridiculous, and someone mentioned an unfair advantage for PC users on Crossplay.... well I don't think they would want console and PC players mixed, having a dedicated PC server would be the way to go so that console users don't experience hackers/mods. That's a whole different subject, I just want them to give us the best version of the game, since PCs are way more powerful than consoles, it's just a slap in the face to all PC users who've been loyal customers of 2K for years, and it's clear they don't give a rats ass about that, or PC in general
Toughhhh, I like Lavine, Curry for all around finishes and floaters, Donovan Mitchell for euros, Demar, Book, and Tatum got some great advanced finishes too!
Thanks! I love Demar too but currently using Jimmy, these questions are all based for MyPlayer, any feedback on hop jumpers? I've tested all of them and a lot of them seem to have the same standing animations@@KevinCruz016
Thats the problem to finishing the bs animations 2k puts you in smh like you can blow by defender and they warp/slide/magnetize on you and out you in an animation to miss even you already by them smh
Unfortunately, I have limited time to make content, so I have to be really selective with what I put out. The last video I did that was a community request didn't do too well, so I got to focus my time on videos that will appeal to broader audiences. Maybe I revisit player specific videos in the future, but it has to be strategic unfortunately.
