Tim de T&T Productions I know! It’s like an Easter Egg in an Easter Egg. Mario can even get a costume that’s his original Jump Man outfit which is even cooler!
While playing this I kept telling myself, "Don't die, this part is easy, don't die and ruin the best part of the game..." Suffice it to say I died 3 times
Best way ever to celebrate Mario's legacy. I couldn't help crying when I reached that point of the game. Absolutely mesmerizing. Thanks for uploading this.
I fully agree that this is hands down the best level of the entire game. I took my time on that level and I even let the song play a couple of more times before talking to Pauline to complete the level.
HiddenNinjablade u can have multiple files go to options then go to load and u should see a file that says new game load that and it'll be a whole new game
Maybe you could go a long time without playing this game or any new other video game for like...5 to 10 years. Then when the time has come you'll forget what was so special about it, but then you'll feel it all over again
I love the way this level seemlessly integrates both the 3D sections and the old traditional 2D sections all in such a slick and seemless way, especially with 2D sprites with a 3D CGI background. It is fantastic level design
I actually cried playing the first time I played this level. When I was a kid, my dad would always watch play Mario sunshine and we'd laugh about the game together. He passed away somewhere down the line, and this level and game reminded me of those days. Wish he could've seen this level; I know he would've been amazed too. This game brought out the kid in me and I thank Nintendo so much for continuing to bring out the children in all of us
I've avoided this entire game just for this purpose - to hear JUSS in game rather then in some youtube video. And when it finally played, not just in the background or even in a boss battle, but in this incredible tribute to classic mario, and they somehow almost even synced the music to the level itself... I'm not gonna lie, I teared up - I legit, no shit teared up. Even Galaxy, when I was like 12, didn't make me do that. Maybe it's because I was waiting a year for this game, maybe because it somehow is synced to the level... but this broke me. Even if Nintendo can be assholes sometimes, they blew it out of the fucking part - no, out of the planet - with this level - no, this entire game. Hats off to you.
That's called Scatting. It's an actual singing style popular especially in Jazz and Swing music. There's a very famous one-hit wonder artist from back in the 90's who built his whole career around it--his name is Scatman John, and his one hit is called "Scatman." Check it out!
This was easily my favorite part of the game. Metro Kingdom proved that it was a relatively peaceful kingdom to every other place. Unlike the previous kingdoms, which had you fight bosses for multi-moons, you just do this part to celebrate saving the day, and get a multi moon at the end. That's why I love that world as a whole, too.
I remember being in love with Super Mario Galaxy when it came out. And now this. This combines the best of Super Mario Galaxy, Super mario 64, and the original mario. WOW
You didn't lol all g, Greatest level in the game, true to the title. Makes you happier than you ever felt playing Mario while, making you sad you're not a kid and that the good ol' days are over
So… Pauline went from stereotypical damsel in distress to becoming mayor of a large city and a celebrity Meanwhile, Peach still remains princess of a kingdom where its only line of defense is a fat, Italian, now-former plumber…

35 years, dozens of games, millions of people having the time of their lifes playing them (incluiding me), when we needed it most, Nintendo gave us the NES, gave us Super Mario Bros., the videogames industry got a 1-UP and the rest is not history, is a legacy This level feels like a massive "Thank you for everything" from Nintendo, and damn, I couldn't help but tear up
Who agrees that this song should be ayed along with a entire tribute to mario and nintendo for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics...nintendo has earned its place in American and japanese history nintendo has always pleased its fans one way or another and it would be cool to watch them do a whole section dedicated to nintendo
Wow, and I thought I was the only one who thought that this was the best level out of the entire game, to me it looks like New York City, or Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve🥳
Nope25 yes! If you go into the building behind Pauline, there’s a man standing near the stage with a “...” over him. Talk to him and you can go back to the festival!
I absolutely LOVE this level-as others have said, it felt like a fantastic tribute to all things Mario! When I visited my family for the holidays after this game came out, I told them all to watch as I played through it. They were all stunned at the quality and loved the references. :D Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Nintendo!
Really teared up at this part, took me back to playing on my cousins nintendo as a kid, and i have always been a nintendo girl, mario games were always my favorite like many peoples.
Wow I’m not sure if a lot of people noticed this but this guy went so deep into the detail of level that he even timed the music and what Mario was doing to synchronize! This was amazing thank you for the video!
This is the greatest sequence in gaming. In terms of pure joy, just how happy it made me. When GXN released its video of how playing Odyssey was found to be an effective means of curtailing depression symptoms, it’s literally this. The absolute peak serotonin levels this unlocked for me. Haha
Agreed,I remember the first time seeing this level I had the biggest fucking smile on my face that I’ve never had when playing a Mario game in forever, with the music, homages to the original Donkey Kong arcade game, and Pauline singing it was by far my favorite part of this game right above this game’s version of Bowser’s Castle
3:24 ok can someone tell me asap because it doesnt let me go into that tube and I'm soooo mad!! I jumped like 1000 times already! I already turned off my switched and back on, I closed the software, I did everything and still it doesn't let me in! Plz someone tell me if it's a glitch because I've tried the whole course 4 times and I don't want to anymore 😫😩😭🤧
