@@distressunit Yo compre los mios en blockstore en 25mil y he visto en tiendas fisicas en los malls los chuck 70s al mismo precio, aunque no creo que con el tema del coronavirus los puedas encontrar a esos precios ahora xD
I used to wear the „regular“ chucks a lot when I was younger but I always was annoyed by the thin sole and the overall lack of stability. But since I love the way look (and because they are just a classic staple shoe) I decided to give the 70s a try and I absolutely love them! They much more stable and durable than the regular ones - plus they have a more interesting look to them
I’ve got the white low tops and they’re hands down my favourite Converse. Wanted them in high tops but they were sold out everywhere so went for the low tops and was surprised how well they went with everything. Not to mention insanely comfortable and they look awesome. ❤️
I got my very first converse shoes a few days ago and I got the chuck 70 lows in black, they're so nice. I love the aesthetic and the quality of materials used, just beautiful.
Love Your Video and Highly Agree with Your Video as well. In fact, Converse 70's are my favorite foot wear even growing up wearing them in the 60' and 70's. Awesome Then and Still Awesome Now. Smiles.
I recently bought "Converse Chuck 70 Mission V Hi White" and no regrets, preety comfy, but little heavy. Nevermind, I prefer to wear them over other shoes I have :)
I love both your Converse 70 review videos, I got myself the Hi Top Dark Burgundy color but I only made an on feet video. Great job, your voice is rather soothing 👍
Initially I didn't know the difference between a regular pair of Chucks and Chuck 70s but now that I know the Chuck 70s are much more aesthetically pleasing and higher quality. Hoping to get one soon! Nice video Harry! 🔥
@@HarryHas Could you do a video on cheaper alternatives for Common Projects mate? As much as I'd like to get one, the CPs are way out of my budget now.
I would just get yourself a pair of these. I wouldn't buy a pair of common projects again and I wouldn't go for an alternative. These would be the only thing I would advise. If you really want a cheaper alternative, then look at artisan lab. They are the best alternative that look like the common projects.
@@HarryHas Alright bro. My only concern with the Chuck 70s is styling it with a formal outift. In the video you have mentioned it could with a suit but I really struggle to style it formally.
I personally have these sneakers and they are 2nd to none . I use them for vigorous training sessions in and outside of the gym. If paired with the right pair of socks these can even be used as hiking shoes.
Timeless indeed but I just prefer my Stan smith over them. As well timeless but a bit more elegant in comparison. Still the chucks are awesome, enjoyed this one keep up the good work 🙏🏻
Got myself one today. Avid wearer of regular chuck taylor for price, longevity, versatility. So happy rn. But also was a little sceptical, like that glossy rubber and feels way too cushy, but it's fine. 🔥 sneaker.
They do not have crepe soles like a lot of the high tech sneakers do, so they will not disintegrate. They will last indefinitely. Someone told me Mexicans only wear white Converse. I don't think that's true anymore.
Just notice the difference between factory made 70's and the custom 70's - custom ones seem to be made of flimsier material unfortunately that standard mass produced 70s do not. Had to send back the customs I tried since they are simply not the same thing, but it does make sense from a custom manufacturing perspective.
@@HarryHas let us know what you end up getting, I haven't ever ordered Vans customs but I feel like they do their customs legit, I've never seen a pair that ever looked like degraded quality, custom or factory produced.
In more recent years I've gone with only White and Grey low tops. Ive decided to try out the 70's, but I ordered them in low top Black. That black rectangle seemed out of place to me with the mostly white shoe. Also, with Black the stitching will be far more noticeable. AND if the canvas is heavier duty, Im hoping the shoe will last a bit longer, and I know that the Whites get irreversibly dirty eventually. I think Black will get more mileage without showing dirt. I still gotta have my White low tops tho, so I ordered a pair of those in the standard as well!
What do you think of Tyler’s line with Converse - Golf Le Fleur? It mostly consists of renditions of one star cons but he put out a couple pairs of chuck 70s that I think are real cool.
I do like Tyler and he has great style but I wouldn’t personally get a pair. I don’t mind them at all but I prefer the basic and classic models best. If you like them though then grab yourself a pair!
Did you find the sizing was around the same as other shoes, or did it run a bit big/small? I'm thinking of getting a pair for myself, and want to make sure they fit :)
I’m in two minds on these. I like them, but I have to lean towards wider fit footwear. Are these restrictively narrow, or do they have some give in them?
I just got a lightly used pair of these in the white colorway on mercari for only $40, and the difference between these and the All Stars is night and day. My only point of confusion is that mine didn’t come with removable insoles, they seem to be glued into the shoe.
Both decent choices and very versatile. I suppose it depends how much you would worry about them getting dirty. If you are then the black. You can’t go wrong with either really
Harry Has Did your parchment ones get really dirty? Also which ones do you think are more versatile and go with more things? I thought the black ones might go with more since the parchment ones have that red and blue stripe on them.
They will both go with everything apart from I don’t like black shoes with blue trousers always. The parchment will go with anything in my opinion, the blue and red are just nice extra detail, which can tie in with other red or blue bits in a fit. I have not worn them much outside yet as we have been on lockdown but they will probably get dirty yes. I’m not too fussed about it though
Harry Has I think they look nice a little scuffed up anyway. Do you think the parchment ones will go with fits that don’t have any red or blue in them too?
Anastasia Ferrone The detail is so small that it doesn’t make much difference in my opinion. It will be a nice extra detail when wearing red or blue and a detail that can be ignored easily too. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. They are very simple shoes so they are going to go with most things
My feet sore with chuck taylor. But I really love the look of converse shoes. Any remedy for that so I can use many converse shoes. I am an avid fan of chucks.
I bought a pair and absolutely love them. But they look too big on my feet and I'm on the skinnier side. It just feels a bit weird! Any ideas on how to make them look better?
Are you wearing them with skinny or slim trousers? Try a wider fitting trouser and it will stop them looking so big. Also they always look a little big when you aren’t used to them. The more you wear them, the more you get used to them
Hi guys, does anyone know what is the difference between chuck taylor all star 70 core ox and chuck taylor all star 70 vintage canvas ox? And which one is the best?
Bloody hell Harry leave me alone will ya, I feel compelled to buy the chuck 70s lows in black & white now after binging your vids and that's after grabbing the 70s highs.
Just wore them less and less and I put the money towards new pieces I would wear more. I like to recycle pieces as I’m not able to afford to keep buying loads of stuff and I haven’t got the space.
Same dude, hands down my favourite sneakers. They look amazing with pretty much everything. I recommend grabbing a white pair too, definitely worth it.
Hate the normal shit converse but love the 70s. I hate it when companies go offshore and get chappy. Glad converse woke up and produced an original one
I wear and love mine 70', but i think they are a little strange in fitting. I sized down and they are still like 1 cm too long and a little too narrow. Someone have simillar expirience?
I went true to size. Always try shoes on yourself and don't take my word for it. Everyone's feet are different shapes. Some people size down half a size
Depends on your style, I’m 5’5 & Into Sartorial clothing. I have the high top & usually wear them with a high rise ghurka trouser to make my legs look longer & also still get that military kind of look.
@@HarryHas But for you sir, in a humid and hot country, which do you prefer? The parchment color or black? I love both but I wanna be specific for the seasons. Greatly appreciate if you'd reply. Great video by the way!
I say about all that in the video. It’s only a minute long. It’s called ‘which colour converse should you wear?’ I talk all about heat and which would be best for you in a warmer country
Watup Bruh. I just bought my first chuck 70's pair last night. I'm 6'1 tall and I usually wear 10.5 on my nike's and jordan's. I tried them chucks at 10.5 yesterday at the mall and damn they looked like Mcdonald's clown shoes on me. So I tried to get one full size down and got size 9.5, it fits well but there's always this half inch toe room at the top that I'm not used to. I have a wide feet and converse best fits a person with narrow feet. I'm just asking if you also feel that annoying extra toe room at the top of the shoe?? Tysm if you respond🔥🔥🔥
I have that with a lot of my shoes. If I size down they are too narrow or I have too much room in the end if I don’t. Some brands are better than others. I do have some room at the end in converse but if I sized down my little toe would rub
@@HarryHas thank you for the response bruh, appreciate it🔥🔥🔥 you got yourself and new subscriber. Btw how tall are you and what size do you weat on them chuck 70's?
I don’t know why they look longer than they are supposed to because they are not longer. I have a few pairs and they are no longer on these than my other 3 pairs
They are a little bigger than the regular chucks apparently. I only own 70. Try them on for yourself and see how you get on though as everyone’s feet are different
