thank you for this video! i’m a high school student who wants to become an occupational therapist, mainly steering towards pediatrics. this video was very informative in confirming that psychology is a good major for my interests!

Thank you for the great video😊 Its so so helpful!!! I have called so many offices for shadowing at pediatrics but its so difficult to get anyone to let me just simply shadow. We live in the Greenville South Carolina area. Any advice for me?

Thank you very much for the video. Question: Would you recommend enrolling in a Master's of OT or an entry level Doctorate program? Do OT practitioner who have a Doctorate make more than those with just a masters? Thank you.

The salary is the same. If you plan on teaching get your doctorate. If not, get your masters. You can always get your masters and get your doctorate later too. I always tell people to just get their masters.

@@otfocus Thank you very much for getting. And why would you say is your recommendation regarding going to a public university purses a private one? The University of New England has a very respected master's program but the tuition estimate is $90,000 for the entire three years. So I don't know if to spend less on a public university or spend more and get a better valley for my money.

I am currently in college majoring in Child Care and Family Education (Early Childhood Education), but didn’t consider Occupational Therapy until after I started college (currently a freshman). Do you consider that a good major to go into Pediatric Occupational Therapy? Also, are there any courses you would recommend?
