Is there a reason you don’t do swatches often? Would love to see more of that, especially while you’re talking about the texture

Thank you for the feedback, truly it’s a matter of the work involved with editing. But I’ll be sure to try and be better with that in the future. Thank you!
@I would have also liked to see the textures of the creams, but I love how detailed you are in explaining the formula of the products and the skin benefits of each of the creams. I like how you explain everything from your perspective. Thank you Ramon 🥰
I love La Roche posay Cicaplast series, especially this product. It is targeting wounds but I use this s a humectant underneath my moisturizer at night or as a under eye serum. It creates a slight film and I can see good results from it on my under eye area.
I just got some prequel items and I’m obsessed and want the entire brand. She nailed it and prices are reasonable. Formulas are fabulous, ingredients fabulous, all works well.
I’ve been in the market for a good moisturizer to use after shaving my face (traditional men’s aftershaves are too drying and full of alcohols). I tried the Cetaphil gentle clear as recommended by you and it’s great! Soothes redness and irritation and helps to prevent itchiness and ingrown hairs. Thanks Ramon!
The cicaplast Gel by Laroche Posay is a great moisturizer for oily skin, no oil, no petrolatum... My favorite at the moment is Bioderma Atoderm gel-crème intense (500ml for 15 euros in France) it's amazing !
hi ramon! i discovered your channel while looking for review of prequel products and I am HOOKED. you are thorough and honest in your reviews and thoughts, and I really appreciate thr attention paid to cosmetic elegance plus efficacy. we gotta have both! 👏👏👏
im currently combing through this video for any shea butter free moisturizers as i am allergic 😢 if you have any reccs im all ears! i have combo dry skin and love barrier creams
Hi Ramon, I'm a fan of the Experiment Buffer Jelly. I just bought the Thayer's Barrier Bestie Cream yesterday at Walmart; I'm hoping it can replace the more expensive Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream. Appreciate the always useful content.
I tried the Sioris barrier cream as I tend to have very dry and sensitive skin just under the eyes/around cheeks (since starting tretinoin) and it feels wonderful. Applies very nicely and exactly as you said - rich in texture but doesn't feel greasy on the skin at all.
Would love to see you do a review/breakdown of some products from The Outset. It’s a brand I’ve been loving (has saved my rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis), but I’ve yet to see many reviews beyond just TikTok skinfluencers. It would be interesting to see your take on the brand using your expertise and knowledge as a chemist.
"I know they're not called biotics!" 😂 You're too cute!! Love me some Stratia! Even though it's a "lotion", I still find it pretty lightweight for my skin.
Summer Fridays is my fave Sephora brand so glad one of their products made your list! In fact, their Rich Cushion Cream was my favorite moisturizer of the year! And this was my year of finding a good night cream so I also enjoyed Skin 1004 probio-cica enrich cream and Naturium's plant ceramide rich moisture cream.
Thank you so much for laying out several gels!! I just got my teen the Cetaphil gel AND I'm always looking for light moisturizers for my mom's oily skincare routine. How would you compare Prequel's ointment to LRP's cicaplast balm or Prequel's Barrier Cream to several of Aveeno's Creams (also featuring colloidal oats)? By the way, Aveenos's Nighttime Itch Relief Balm, while I wouldn't put it on my face, has saved my hands from winter eczema.
The Gel B5 is really really thick!! So thick that I actually use it as a sleeping mask 1-2x/week AFTER a cream moisturizer. I find that it prevents water-loss while sleeping so well

Hm maybe I should have moved it to the ‘balms’ section. My bad!
@ I would suggest you try and use it as a sleeping mask or slugging product once or twice maybe to form an opinion for your self, but I’m sure you’ll love it!’
Hiii ! Do you find that the skinfix barrier gel cream smells really weird ? I have sensitive acne prone skin and I smelled it at Sephora and it smelled weird I got a small travel size of the barrier triple cream but it’s too greasy I would like to try this one but I’m not sure why it smells so bad
That Trader Joe’s stuff irritated the heck out of my skin. Anybody else? What could that have been? I am finishing it on my neck since my face hates it
