Every big play, game, and moment in Arkansas Razorback History. Please tell me if I missed something because I don't think I did. The song it says at the bottom is wrong All rights to CBS, ESPN, Fox, and SEC Sports Media
I’m a younger fan but I’ve been raised a hog fan. Undoubtedly the most unforgettable moment ever for me was that 4th and 25 vs ole miss. Me and my dad watched the whole game and that game was so so entertaining to watch. So close the whole time and so much offense. Touchdown after touchdown after touchdown. Then we got ourselves into 4th and 25 in overtime. I thought it was all over. Then Brandon Allen passed it to Henry and as he was getting tackled I REALLY knew it was over. Then he threw it back and Alex Collins picked it up. He had so much room and as soon as he passed that 1st down line it was the best feeling ever. Then we won the game. Craziest most insane and most fun time I’ve EVER had watching football or the hogs. I’ll never forget that night.
I was there and we were ready to leave and then we got the first down and had just left the bleachers and watched I am pretty sure my dad did a cartwheel when we scirex
Couple of things: 1. It's 1000000% guaranteed, like clockwork, that Arkansas is going to have some insane 57-55 type game EVERY year. I love that. 2. There was a 5 or 6 year stretch in my teenage years where this team was as cool as it gets. I grew up a die hard college football fan in the southeast, but my household didn't really have any hardcore allegiances, so my criteria for bandwagon fandom was basically: "How fun are they to watch on TV? How fun are they on NCAA Football? How cool are the players?".. and the 2002-2007 stretch for Arkansas is still one I think about now as a 33 year old when I'm reminiscing about sports. Freakishly talented Matt Jones getting into ridiculous games every other week and making some of the craziest plays I've ever seen. Then seamlessly transitioning right into that unbelievable trio of McFadden, Jones, and Hillis. Malzahn shows up as OC and breaks college football with those guys and the Wildcat. That OT win over #1 LSU is still one of the top 5 games I've seen in my life and there's a handful of plays from that one that are permanently etched into my brain. I just think it's awesome that I'm by no means an Arkansas fan, can't recall ever even going into the state to be honest.. but I guarantee I'll remember those teams and names and plays for the rest of my life.
Michigan fan here. I do truly hope Arkansas football can improve since they hired Sam Pittman. We hope to face you sometime in the future. Maybe in a bowl game, who knows? Anyway, best of luck to you guys next season and beyond. I’ll be watching.
Watching this after all these massive wins this year is making me so proud of our team right now. A big win over Texas, breaking a 9 game losing streak to A&M, being ranked in the top 10 for the first time in a decade, becoming bowl eligible for the first time in 6 seasons, beating LSU in Death Valley! This team is so amazing, and I am so proud of Pittman, the coaching staff, and all of the players! WPS!!!
Need to add both Cobi Hamilton 80 yard TD's against LSU in WMS. The one right before halftime where the announcer said Petrino should take a knee then Mallett hits Hamilton across the middle, two LSU defenders knock each other on the collision and Cobi houses it.
Sometimes we are unbeatable, the rest were below average. But those few times make it all worth it for the year that they put it all together for a championship!
Cause we beat ourselves firing petrino when we were #3 in th nation are you kidding me they werent even gonna fire paterno i just dont understand look what petrino has already done with louisville!
As a Auburn fan. I am glad you didn't include the Fred Talley runs against us in 2002. Single handily the best rushing performance against us that I can remember.
Great video. Maybe I just missed it, but I didn't notice anything from Arkansas' 27-24 come from behind victory over #1 Texas in 1965. I was at that game in Fayetteville, and it was amazing.
maybe of the 21st century. First thank you for spending your time making this but too many 80's 70's and esp national champ season of 64 again, thanks for the efforts because as old as I get I hope and and mean really hope that we can reach back, come back and bring some noise not keep laying down.
One of my favorite, was defensive stand against Texas, penalty gave Texas at least a dozen snaps inside 10 hogs held Texas missed field goal out my seat then hogs got that one
7:30. Coldest moment of my life. Ever. Had to walk half a mile back to the bus through gravel lots in those thin ass marching shoes. Glad we got out with a win!
Did I miss The Quinn Grovey Tribute? Back to Back SWC Champs. Only ding on Andre's trophy. Quinn n Derrick co vs Houston held the all time total game offense for years. They were my True Friends and I saw 11 games live in 88. We helped make some Cowboys famous vs UCLA n kept it close. Loss to Texas Homecoming when we were 7-0 ranked 8th. Quinn's mom ran up to my seats and squeezed in beside me for the 4th quarter.. Quinn came to see me about 2am. We talked about what we needed to do to beat Houston's 3-4 the next week. It's what Brothers do. Thank you Coach Hatfield for letting me in the locker room first after you spoke. Also my Nephew Jordan Elimon. #wps. JP Westbrook, Bearcreek Montana . Hope Bobcats .80
At 2:45 that was Kenny Hatfield running back the punt against Texas to seal the game. I always loved Kenny Hatfield. 30 years later he told the story of the hard practices, and at the end of practice when he was exhausted they would do special teams. To get himself through it, he would always imagine himself taking the winning return for a touchdown against Texas. That was his dream come to life.
When we’re good, we’re one of the most exiting teams to watch. It seems like we’re always the underdog but we make it work. Not to mention, the Arkansas and LSU rivalry is one of the best in the country and I hope we never lose it
i wish you had that run from knile davis vs miss state in 2010. i've never seen a football player move that fast in my life. that dude, when he had it all together was one of the fastest human beings i've ever seen. he looked like bo jackson on that play.
Despite the ups and downs of our franchise, I’m proud to be an Arkansas fan. Sam Pittman has shown he is bringing change to our team. I look forward to 2022. Go Hogs!
Proud damn state! We never give up around here.......its not in our blood. We only know how to survive and we fight like a bunch of wild hogs. Go Hogs Go! Our time is coming soon and im gonna be there cheering when it does! Arkansas Razorbacks a team and fans who just never give up! U always get our best when you play us!
Very cool stuff! There is no 2nd favorite team for me. Hogs or nothing. We have a new coach now..he has already signed some really good players..We will soon be respected again! WOOO PIG! GO HOGS GO! 🐗😎🐗
martindx1961 truly excited for the Chad Morris era. I think he will keep us a consistent 8-9 win team and we will make a run for the sec every couple of years. That’s the team we’re meant to be
Holly shit, at 15:00 is one of my most favorite razorback memories. I was very young, but I remember we kicked of to Texas, and it was the first, or second play from the line of scrimmage, the ball popped out and there was a pile, and I seen Billy Ray coming out of the pile holding the ball up and jumping. That day was a great day in razorback history. We went on to kick Texas ass that day.
actually , Arkansas has participated in 3 of the longest games in NCAA history. 7 OT against Ole Miss (won), 7 OT against Kentucky ( won), 6 OT against Tennessee (lost)
Can u believe in 2007 we had a Walter payton(McFadden), Barry sanders (jones) and a bettis (Hillis) on the same team n still couldn't win it all? I swear we're a cursed program.
2:53 I remember watching that game, when Arkansas barely lost. If they had won, it probably would have been Arkansas and Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl for the national championship, not West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl.
Matt Jones to this day may still be the greatest qb Arkansas has ever had. Idk how he did all of that. It was literally like watching Houdini, idk how many times I was screaming no,no,no,no, oh shit,.... yes,yes,yes.... he always made it interesting.
Is it sad that I can recite half of these calls by heart? “Interception! Matteral Richardson Arkansas wins!” “Complete to Henry, he’s gonna lateral it back” “Houdini’s in the house tonight, and nobody’s home to watch that house! Touchdown hogs! Holy hog!”
