In this video we head to Sheffield to ride Wharncliffe and Greno woods. Both of these woods have some epic trails - Greno being more flowy and Wharncliffe being more techy. If you enjoy the video please like and subscribe.
@Will MTB good point....ive had the wind blow my front wheel across me into a dead sailor position over that gap. Not worth it. We sometimes have someone stand before the jump and shout out if it's suddenly gusty so we can abandon the jump.
Hi, so we are thinking of popping down one dry day to try and fit both trail centres in. I'm just wondering how steep they are for riding back up to the start of the trails. Basically, e bike or pedal bike? Also, how far apart are both trail centres, and can you park in between both or do you have to ride one then drive to the other?
When I went we parked at greno car park and did both, you just traverse to the top of Wharney when you're done at greno. Thing is its a hefty trek up from the bottom of Wharney so your last run will always be followed with a beefy pedal/hikeabike back to the car park. What Id do next time if I wanted to to both is park at the bottom of Wharney, then pedal up to greno and session that, then come down to do Wharney afterwards so when your legs are done you just descend to the car park instead of having to save a bit for the pedal back up.
