cheers mate , i use custom clear for 90% of the type of work i personally do. simply because 9/10 no polishing is needed . on the odd occasion ill use diamond clear as its thicker and is great for sanding and polishing or sanding and continuing to paint more things . i like to use the diamond clear if im using metal flake as it tends to bury the flake easier

Can’t say I’ve ever used the poke method . With a correctly formulated product like @dnapaints Mutant CrystalZ it takes the guess work out of the equation

Everything was solvent mate

Was just a silver base . DNA’s silver flare metallic.

It’s called mutant crystalz . Its technically not paint but a solution which crystallises when it dries
