My late brother Richard Erasmus Dunbar used to love him some Buck Owens. When he sang Love's going to live here he added Love's going to die here also.
Buck Owens and Don Rich and the Buckaroos had 21 # 1 hits, they had such great harmony and were great country singers. Back when country music was worth listening to.
Parents had an Buck Owens 8-track tape when i was a kid. I started listening to it. Worn that tape out. Loved him so much. Watched Hee Haw just to see Buck.
You can never go wrong with listening to buck even its tear jerker you still either find yourself singing along or just enjoying the way country music used to be.
Buck owens was one of my favorites back in the late 80's. As a kid, I sure enjoyed his music, and now as an older kid, I still have such a serious like for his music. :)
Thanks for the memories. This is the kind of music they played in the Infantry club “Canadian Club officially”. on our base in Germany. From our Base Radio station. Saturday mornings and early afternoon. Very appropriate for healing hangovers. For us twenty something soldiers in 1980 era.
Oh my Jesus I grew up with this crap. I can't believe. I promise I never heard the stuff about the welfare Let's face it, the "men" were lacking in more areas than one. 1970- 1990+
Did you know that BUCK OWENS ONCE BROKE IN MY HOME. I FOUND HIM IN MY KITCHEN EATING A HAM SANDWICH AND DANCING WITH MY DAUGHTER. HE LATER MARRIED HER AND THEY HAD FIVE HOGS OF THEIR OWN. BUT THEY ONLY ATE BEEF
I've got a bull by the horns and a chicken by the throat. But I really need a warm coat. I wrote these lyrics for BUCK OWENS but he chose that stupid tiger song.
