it's so sad now that the show just stopped and i love how the writers left them in the diner on the last episode's last moments and the song totally goes with the scene
So much better than the "sequel". ASP became too bitter, too beholden to her original vision. I can keep watching s7 but she reversed all the character growth.
such a great series. i remember starting watching it wile having hard times in my life. and this was the only thing that could made me smile during the day so it will always remain very special to me.
Same here. This show got me through some really dark days. I know it probably has its flaws, but I love it anyway and it hurts me to hear people insult it like there’s no tomorrow. The characters are amazing and super funny and always made me laugh no matter what kind of mood I was in.
I think the hate April gets is mainly from the overall long-lost-daughter-manufactured-drama plot device. We see her face a lot more than Anna's, unfortunately, so I agree that the hate is misplaced. That being said, I was meh about April as a character. Would've liked her more if she'd been a different TYPE of kid than Rory, seeing as this whole show was already built around a super-smart, bookish girl. If she'd been super handy instead, into the outdoors, or a sporty tomboy (really driving home a resemblance to Luke), I probably would've appreciated her a lot more...
The lesson you should take from Gilmore Girls is there's no real right in many cases. At the very least, hating someone will lead to regretful moves. Live your life.
Thank you so much for posting these vid! I got to take a little trip down memory lane, when the episodes first came out - so long ago. I laughed, smiled and toward the end I got a little teary eyed at the end. I love Gilmore Girls, it was really a great treasure. Thanks again for posting :)
@@perfectlyimperfect2368 Exactly, only the brainwashed ASP fanatics would prefer the sequel that nobody talks about anymore, and she had over a decade to get over her bitterness. But she didn't grow, just like her characters, and killed off the franchise. Unless someone's brave enough to hire the s7 writers back, and I don't see that happening anymore, this is all we've got. There were so many heart-warming moments in s7, the writers did a hell of a job reviving all the destruction she'd laid as she neared the end of her reign. But again, ASP couldn't see past a perceived slight and rendered all the work meaningless.
@@smurfyday I know She is so selfish. Spend years building these lovable characters to destroy them in 4 chapters. The only characters that really evolved were Emily and Paris. I think she likes disastrous relationships. I will never forgive her for what she did to Logan and Rory
Spackle well! Have a good spackle! Spackle on! Break a spackle! Knock on spackle if things work out! What do you say to someone who 's going to spackle :p
I love watching Gilmore Girls is my favorite Tv i had a dream I was on the show of Gilmore Girls I getting in engaged to Richard Gilmore we are getting married having kids together having a family together
Wow you're rude. Janinix is entitled to their opinion same as you. Many fans believe bringing April on was a mistake many don't. So really, just keep scrolling.
I feel like April isn’t the problem she’s nice and she didn’t do anything wrong. Anna is the real problem she can’t deal with the fact that Luke is in April’s life too (I hate that I have the same name as her lolll)
It was a helluva job recovering from the disasters that ASP laid as she tried to blow everything apart when she got fired from the show. Look at the sequel and see what she had in mind.
@@randomweirdo3987 well she was the reason Luke and Lorelai split up mainly and that's what people think ruined the show. Although her as a character i loved her i just think it was poor writing on Luke not telling Lorelai
That's because stupid Amy Sherman-Palladino got our hopes up during the first 5 seasons by saying she already knew the last lines of the final episode, but ended up leaving the show! Now we'll never know what they were supposed to be!
Amy should have been there for Season 7, should have had a 2 hour finale. If Amy wanted to finish the show with the "famous" last 4 words . The storyline with Christopher and Lorelia wasn't good. Should have wrapped up the show in Season 7 and instead of coming back with the 90 minutes special, had like a 2 hour movie to wrap up GG, with maybe fans finding out who is the father of Rory's baby.
Season seven had its moments, but it seemed liked they writers were trying too hard to have the witty flair that was present in all other seasons. It just didn't have have the punch that the pop culture references landed. It was at times nonsensical, but not witty. The loyal watchers felt like something was off and it was. Where was that ingenious, bizarre wit? And the characters were a little off as well. Like in what universe would Lorelei get married without Rory there? And Chris knowing their relationship ever propose this to Lorelei? Never, ever would this have happened. The ingenious, bizarre Amy Sherman Paladino wit and writing just wasnt there. An unpopular opinion, perhaps. But, that's what I saw.
38 yr old woman, still acts like a kid, noticed it 2nd time i saw series. Emotionally Impusive. Passed it on to Rory. Selfish, hold grudges, spoiled, mockers not cool.
It really pissed me off when Lorelei never even considered where Gigi would fit into her and Christopher's life, she was just so selfish. I did think they were better suited in the series, but in the revival I did think she aged for Luke better. But no matter who she always was selfish and never made room for others on their terms she only did things on her own terms.
No Lorelai wasmt selfish at all. She didn't want to Chris to move all of Rory stuff without asking first. When Lorelai discussed Rory sharing a room with Ggi she was cool about it. Chris should have talked to Rory and discuss it with her. It's still Rory room.
