When alive and seeing these guys in the cinema must of been the best thing ever. In this day and time and age nothing, absolutely nothing can touch laurel and hardy. ......L&H are unique. Their Sense of Humor fascinates every generation. Provided each generation is aware of their genius. Never on others expense, they made myself and make my children laugh to tears. God must have a great time with them upstairs.
Being a big fan of Laurel and Hardy I wish this magnificent comedy duo had retired in 1939, before 1940 they never made a bad movie together, but sadly from 1940 onwards they never made a good one. The rot began with the 1940 movie (Saps at Sea) and culminated in 1951 with the utter flop and career-ending movie that was "Atol K/Utopia". Nonetheless, their catalogue of excellent movies prior to 1940 does them proud, and deserving of their position as one the greatest comedy duos of all time.
Of all the things in life that are just part of life, family, children etc all are just that. Natural and albeit a blessing are just normal.To have lived and been able to listen to the likes of Beethoven and seen the greatest comedy duo of all time on screen is a privilege and bloody lucky. To my dying day they'll make me laugh. 🤣

I spent my 50th birthday in Egypt. Deciding to go to Alexandria from Cairo, I decided to take the subway to the train station. On several tv screens in the station Laurel and Hardy comedies we’re playing on a loop entertaining hundreds of Egyptians and me. It was as memorable an experience as most others. 🤡🇺🇸

Laurel and hardy when I was a child would be on our TV set on a Sunday afternoon along with Tom and Jerry and The Addams Family. We would watch as a family and the tears would run down our eyes. My parents watched a lot of comedy and music shows. Happy days.

Violent, sometimes clever, sometimes stupid, sometimes funny, always original, what came out of vaudeville from a more innocent time. I think they did their own stunts. Hollywood wasn't as regulated then like now.
As many times as I've seen the movies these clips were taken from and I know what's coming, I still find myself laughing all over again. They were simply the greatest and time has not dimmed their genius.

I am 61, an Indian. Stan and Oliver, the unforgettable pair!! You see there are certain things that can happen only once in a lifetime. This pair is something that is once in a human time.
What I find odd, Laurel & Hardy the best comedy double act of all time never on telly!!!! 🤔 They was occasionally when I was a child but even then not often, saw more of the cartoon. Then another example is the beatles, I never hear a beatles track ever ha, best band ever apparently. 🤔
I was born in London, England and I remember fondly watching Laurel and Hardy as a kid growing up.they would sometimes show them on British t.v amongs the carry on movies and Benny Hill and Tommy Cooper T.V shows.fond memories.I still watch Stan and Oille to this day.Them and the three stooges.I'm probably one of the few men of color that love watching these guys.
