Mount Maroon via the South approach through Paddys Gully, go past Paddys Waterfall, eventually follow the dry creek bed up to a gorge. Exit the gorge up onto the rocky approach to the summit. Some rock scrambling required (small amount). Then take the West Ridge and do the cave track back to main carpark on Cotswold Rd at Mt Maroon. Amazing views on the south approach, from the summit, and on the Western Ridge. Starting point Drynans Hut Rd (near Mt Barney). This is a point 2 point hike.
