Up to the stumps for Nathan Lyon and the spinners or standing back to the Aussie battery of quicks, Test skipper Tim Paine had an outstanding summer with the gloves
Can people just appreciate the video and stop comparing and random indians just keep on bringing up random players, like why would you say anything about Kohli on a wicketkeeping video. Edit: And please stop commenting for like bait, you don’t know it but you probably have at least 300 dislikes on those comments
i really am tired of hearing this, who is best kohli like smith comment, on every type of videos irrespective of whether it has anything to do with india or not .
I agree, I rate his keeping pretty high and I feel like the reason he hasn't battered to well is because the pressure of being captain got to him, stepping in after smith is a big ask.
@@ruchirmundhra6716 Stupid comment. We are fans of cricket, not only the Indian team. We want to see high quality cricket no matter where in the world.
thesnackbandit Australia just now started to get their victories and many of the fans(not everybody) criticising their old performance in 2018 Everyone will go through dark phase but how they recover is matter rather than not at all improving but Australia really doing well after those dark days but still Fans complaining about their 2018 so as a neutral fan do you like this man????
@@balajibalajii8093 balaji balajii Not at all. Australia is a fantastic side right now and criticising their performance after the ball-tampering scandal is ridiculous. I just don't like how you have called all Indian fans "shambolic"
Captain and leader is two different things. people give more attention to the ones that look [like leaders than] to the ones that really are. Tim is both captain and leader. He’s one of the reason why Australia are where they are today. True leader are not the best players but are the one that pulls the team together behind the close door and other can shine off them. Leave Tim alone👌🏼
@@harrydavies861 says a lot about how horrible a test cricket team England is if a guy who “couldn’t captain” can bring the urn home for the first time since Waugh right?
@@Oskar.s.s Root, Bairstow and Stokes are churning out runs for fun whilst Paine's career is over and Australia lost by an innings today against Sri Lanka and Paine wouldn't be able to buy a run in those conditions :P
Unfortunately he might retire soon, since he is 35, Smith probably will be new captain, its sad that Tim only gets hate and gets compared to other wicket keepers, leave the guy alone, he deserves alot of kudos.
@@AatifUddin they said that Warner and Smith will never have a leadership role again. Cummins will be the new captain because he’s young blood and he’s already the vice captain
damm he is fast when he cant do something to the team with the bat all the time he always make sure he do so with the gloves and as a captain this summer is as good as any summer a captain can have retaining ashes winning against pakistan and new zealand well done Paine
Tim Paine captained at a very difficult time for Australia. After Sandpaper Gate, and managed to retain the Ashes in England, then comprehensively beat NZ, then secured a draw in Dubai against Pak and some hard fought losses against India. What happened was he was thrown under the bus by some woke people. He was a tough fighter. I hated him for being a great captain. Fair play Tim Paine🙌🔥❤
Australia lost by an innings today on 11th July 2022 vs Sri Lanka and luckily for Paine his career is over after the sexting scandal. He would have failed miserably in these conditions with the bat as he would have in India which is where Australia will tour later this year! :P
The title should be updated 'The best and the worst' glovework of Tim Paine. He had such a horrendous time behind the stumps in the recent series against India
Nearly fours on since the upload of this video, Paine himself called time on his career as he knew his career was over following the sexting scandal where he was sexting a colleague. He was envious on double World Cup winner Ben Stokes coming out of ODI retirement for the upcoming Wrold Cup and perhaps he still has nightmares of Stokes' brilliant Ashes innings at Headingley where Paine was Australia captain. Paine will be remembered for being the only Australian captain to lead Australia to not only one, but two home series defeats vs an Asian team and that being India of all teams 😂
In all honesty, for what's he's done for his country in test cricket Tim Paine in my mind is undoubtedly the best captain since the 2000's. Probably the best wicket-keeper/batsman/captain as well (test cricket)
You and your English grasping skills Read the title at least quadruple times and comment further. Well, I'll help you out Its Best of Tim Paine's dismissals ..
I'm a national wicket keeper and I have learned a lot from Tim paine and Alex Carey they are the best as Australia is one of the most difficult place to keep
I have the highest respect for Tim Paine. He was unexpectedly made captain at an extraordinarily difficult time for Australian cricket and he handled everything with dignity and aplomb. He has done the best that he could under the most trying circumstances. I hope he keeps the job until he's ready to retire, because he's earned it the hardest way possible.
I like the character of paine he built a strong side without smith and warner that could challenge or beat any top team like india he is a true leader and leads by example i would like paine to continue as captain rather than smith
Imagine if we had bcci channel and keep getting good clips of dhoni, Tendulkar, dravid etc in high definition.. love cric Australia..hope Ganguly will turn things around
Everyone tempts to be the captain of the best team but this guy captained Australia in their very worst period...A huge salute to Paine..He may not be the best captain for Australia but his contribution is something which can never be displayed in stats.
What has dhoni got to do here? I want cricket australia to restrict the comment section just for people from playing nations.. indian*s have sick minds
@@eric8783 not us u got it wrong we are just taking about man behind the stumps and ur talking about Nation and calling Indians have Sick mindset so poor of u .And tho I am an Indian I like Australia so much that if it goes ind vs aus I support Australia.(ya! I know I would get hate comment for this)
The next keeper for Australia will be Alex Carey but at the moment Tim pain is doing all the right things that he needs to be doing like taking catches, making runs and being a great captain. Every test match pain is put through pain for his team and country so he deserves the spot.
