What I love about the German/sausage bit is Johnson saying "Do I have to spell it out?" immediately before spelling it out with "sausage munching Boche...Fritz, the bratwurst guzzler".
Peep Show is my comfort TV, I'll watch the whole lot about once a year and still find new jokes, the relatability I have to both Mark and Jeremy is such a sign of how I feel at the time of viewing, they are both so close to home but at extreme ends of my reality yet they can't work without the other. Superb writing, I'd love a beer with you guys.
It's my own fault, I know, but every day for the last god knows how long I have recalled the whole "Happy birthday! Happy birthday!" thing with Sophie and her family. It's _so_ weird, Sophie buying into it like she's still a little girl and her little brother as excited as she is. Then there's the whole, "Olivia Colman is a Golden Globe and multiple BAFTA award winner" thing.
Wow, that's weird. It appears in my head way to often. I binge the whole series about once a year and that fucking song appears every time I think about birthdays. Peep show is my comfort series, absolutely perfect in every way.
My favorite scene of the entire series is "St. Hospitals" when Jez meets a girl and wishes for her comatose boyfriend to die. To me, that's what the entire show is about. It describes the unbelievable selfishness and utter disregard for anyone else that lurks deep within the DNA of every human being.
'Not the fucking cafetiere' always makes me laugh.And of course 'You're not getting the fucking Gaggia!' Toni & Toni were comedy gold.Shame they weren't in more episodes.Messy divorces can go on for months....
Can't believe this didn't include the scene where Mark leaves the message for Sophie. "And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like... I like you. I mean, not that..." That was some perfect slice-of-life humiliation. Really should have been on here.
If you are going to go after someone for money, never take a baseball bat. A 3-wood will give you just as much surface contact with a much higher strike velocity. Plus, if you come toting a baseball bat, everyone thinks you are gong to beat them up and they can make themselves ready. If you come with a golf club, there's always that corridor of uncertainty you can exploit.

So…. I was thinking about the “mark on the toilet” bit. I’m guessing that all the noises were added in post. So someone had to spend time in an editing suit selecting which fart sounds are best and where they should go.

There was this scene when Jez couldnt contain his excitement about something I guess probably it was about having sex and he couldnt keep himself from laughing a little. Like it was half uh-huh half laugh. It was such brilliant acting.
Jeremy picking his teeth to get that final muchable reminance of mummy and swallow it is so jez. It's like in that moment the seriousness and sickening idea of eating the burnt dog leg disappeared and his brain switched back to reality and as if to say "well, that was a disaster. Anyways if I remember rightly this is the way out mark soo.." lol
You’re all insane. You should be ashamed of yourselves. The butterfly effect gone wrong. Ever consider enrolling in kindergarten and actually matriculating this time. This show looks really cool. If I ever get a job I will watch the whole thing. After that it’s anyones guess
I never understood the "Piss Yourself" bit. Just go piss in the corner, don't piss all over yourself, even these guys wouldn't be that mentally challenged.
I think it's because Mark didn't want people to know him and Jez were hiding which is why Mark didn't want to get the "Prayer bucket" for Jez because moving over to it would would cause noise and give away that they're there
