Many of these 'interactions' have little to do with 'laws' but 'Cameraphobia'--and relying on the public unaware and fear of the 'police'..

Seen all these clips and my blood boils, the police were wrong again and again

The trouble with some cops is that whatever they say must be correct. They happily quote sections of drone laws but have not learnt the updates to go with them. They think they have one over you when quoting these drone laws but alas they are up against a master of knowing what he does to the letter and all the updates that were made after the cops thought they knew them all. All said with arrogance towards the person who does know them inside out. PTTP knows his stuff too unlike the cops. Pity he is not still out there teaching these cops and civil servants what is lawful and what is not. We need more people that stand up for our rights.

I recall watching these on FP and PTTP channels. 2 of the wisest people. They read laws and facts, and use them at the appropriate time. This Northern Irish cop embarrassed me because i know he was not brave enough to be a police officer in Northern Ireland. And moved to England to take an easy job. He should mov back to his posh area of Northern Ireland and become a brave cop and tackle terrorism as its still going on. The other sergeant who tried to let on he had knowledge was dumbfounded when FP rattled of those facts and laws about drones.

Second clip was a great example of "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". This copper does not know when he does not know. But rather than accept that Focus is far better versed in the approptiate legislation than he is. But noticeably his suspicion overides everything else. Becsuse we are in his mind? Always criminals. So it is just a matter of uncovering our wrongdoing. This is prejudice at work. So again incompetance because our police are employed with the notion of policing without fear or favour. This can not happen if they have chosen a side before arriving. Then compound this mindset by steadfastly and deliberately refusing to update this thinking on scene.

That was a great comment about "white noise". "Grounded" - only parents can "ground" their children. They're really scraping the barrel there.

I have had the pleasure Of stating ,!! It is a service we pay for so if we need that service we pay for we will use that service.. We expect professionalism . It is similar to going the shop paying full price for a loaf of bread with 6 slices missing the service we are receiving.

When she ssys lower yoursrelf to call on the police for help in clip one. She demonstrates a total anr complete misunderstsnding of both her job and the situation. Her job ie law enforcement. The situation is that the is here harassing a citizen unprofessionally with zero grasp of the relevant legislation. Furthermore, despite being in the wrong and being proven so multiple times. She makes the choice to lecture the guy who does know the apptoptiate and applicable laws. Then digs in deeper by refusing to recognise her incompetance and acting offended by reality. So where should she be? Somewhere else. Where her services apply. Where she can do something useful and positive. Perhaps in a training centre, learning not to lecture on subjects she knows nothing about. Her colleague was just as entitled though. Whining and emotionally blackmailing Focus. If i recall; she had been in the police for years. So can we be assured that her arrest record was safe? Because without Focus' film, he could very well have been arrested here. It would be possible for these two to conspite to write damning reports snd hay presto. A judge would likely believe them. Instant conviction. To satisfy their ego. I wonder what they think when they see this. I love my job. What job. Giving out cringy lectures on appropriate behaviour. Or being a competent police officer? Because this was not skilled and ingormed, effective policing. Rather, it undermined and belittled a very important and responsible role. Focus was rightfully irritated and disappointed. We pay for better than this poor display.

Police are at an all time low, poor recruitment and training is a major problem. They forget they are civil servants. However there are some great police officers, but generally very poor these days .

they are not CROWN servant, she said shes no ones servant, she is she is a PUBLIC servant. FACT

The only badge of honour they should be wearing is the ‘Warrant Badge’ they wear on the caps or helmets… Oh sorry they don’t wear them very often now do they? So they have to find an alternative badge, like the gang badge!

Strange TV companies don't show the public what these thugs are really like.

In every one of these clips we have the police getting the law wrong. And in every case they get the law wrong in ways that give us, the law abiding public less freedom and them, the police more power. And yet, ironically, when it comes to a police employee breaking the law, their tendency is to interpret the law or the enforcement of the law in ways that gives their fellow officers more freedom than they should have. Why are they so incapable of doing their jobs with impartiality and professionalism? With the professionalism including them knowing as much about the law as a plumber knows about gas boilers. Or a Geography teacher knows about geography. It seems to be because they are stupid, lazy, uninterested and unmotivated in their jobs, poorly recruited, poorly trained and poorly supervised. You could cut the police to one tenth of the size and if the remaining tenth were as professional and as well managed as - for example a large IT Services company, the crime rates would go down.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

I’m quite new to all this and I’m absolutely gobsmacked at what I’ve seen from the police, intimidation, bullying, lying, assaults and some absolutely vile interactions. The thing that gets me is that the police just don’t care as they know that the corrupt people who are supposed to hold them to account are all members of the same OCG, and stand up for the police regardless. Another thing that makes them not care is that any compensation won in civil claims comes straight out of the public and in my humble opinion this OCG will continue to laugh at us until the money comes directly from the money comes straight from every individual stations budget

Never "understand". Your "comprehension" of the law is ... "Understanding" is "standing under", particularly when it comes to "standing under (any form of) authority (including the Police)" - you give consent to their behaviour, even if it's unlawful or illegal.

I would put them with the law. Not explain what is their job to know. I invoice for information.

In the last video, you take action against the Man who did the act, in their private capacity. not the force.

I am no fan of the police, but in many of these instances you are asking a bit much from them. I don't expect them to know every minute part of every law, its frankly a bit unrealistic.... By all means argue your case, but argue it via the legal process! When dealing with coppers, be polite, help if reasonable to do so and for pity sake avoid any small talk and do not trust them an inch... Thank God for cameras as if people behaved like this 20 years ago before these recording devices were the norm and social media was less prevalent, those coppers would give you a hiding and arrest you on trumped up charges for doing a tenth of the provocation....

We're not expecting police to know EVERY SINGLE law on the books verbatim. But if you're going to approach a member of the public and try to use a certain law or piece of legislation then surely it would be a good idea to read it in full and actually learn it BEFORE you approach the member of public. All this looking things up on their phone and then talking to people as if they actually know what they're talking about. You're not fooling anyone. You already proved you didn't have a clue when you had to Google it 😂 THIS IS WHY YOU FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THE LAW BEFORE YOU APPROACH SOMEONE AND MAKE A BLOODY FOOL OF YOURSELF. It's stupid. It's embarrassing. And it's pathetic.
