Probably one of my favorite Death Battles tbh. I had a hunch Raiden would win. His feats are apsolutely ridicilous , the only obstacle was Wolverine's healing and adamantium skeleton, whose durability is nothing new to Raiden *cough* Armstrong *cough*
@@rainofkhandaq6678 my final thoughts on Ryu vs. Jin, looking back on it, is that the battle as a whole (animation, music, fight choreography) was amazing but the outcome was pretty inaccurate. I won't go into too much detail but think about this; Ryu previously lost to Scorpion in Death Battle, and from then to Vs. Jin Ryu really didn't have any updated powers or abilities. If Scorpion can defeat Ryu even with the Satsui No Hado and Power of Nothingness (I'm aware the battle ended in Hell where Scorpion grows stronger), then Jin could damn well do the same. On power scaling, Jin could defeat Scorpion, even a powered up Scorpion from Hell. So if Jin>Scorpion (powered up by Hell or not) and Scorpion>Ryu then quite obviously Jin>Ryu. Ryu might have fighting experience over Jin, so base form Ryu beats base form Jin in terms of just skill alone. But once they both bring out their inner powers (Devil Gene for Jin and Satsui No Hado and Power of Nothingness for Ryu) then Jin's power overwhelms Ryu by far, meaning Jin can defeat Ryu. That's my synopsis.
I've been watching Death Battle for several years now, and I love these reaction videos! The first Goku v.s Superman death battle was easily the most viewed and most controversial. I don't know if you have any investment in DBZ or DC comics, but if so, it would be awesome to see a reaction to that :)
Wolverines healing factor was his edge. But Raiden has superior physical stats by a good distance along with the high frequency blade so you could say Wolverine had survivability but Raiden had strength, speed and skill. So in this fight its really about if Wolverine can survive long enough atleast to weaken Raiden enough to kill him. But Raidens speed and strength is to much, just enough that he can get serious after learning how Wolverine works and end him. But we all know Raiden is always serious he doesn't even go easy on the weaker cyborg characters cause it's a piece a cake for him to just run through the entire game flawless beating every cyborg, machine or superhuman that comes at him. He really only had trouble with Sam and Armstrong.

Oh this is gonna be fun Wolverine was voiced by Xander Mobus. If you haven’t heard that name before, I’d be seriously surprised. But just in case, Mobus was the voice of the announcer/ Master Hand & Crazy Hand/ Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nils from Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Grøh from Soul Calibur 6, Hero/ Arsene from Persona 5, Abigail from Street Fighter V, and D’arby Younger from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Raiden was voiced by Tim Paige, who’s only ever done Ulric Kell from Wasteland 2 and Mountain Dew Monkey King from Heroes of Newerth outside of his performance here as Raiden, so if you haven’t heard of him, I don’t blame you at all. While I personally don’t agree with Raiden winning, I also really don’t care, because A.) I like Raiden a whole lot more than Wolverine(still really like Wolverine, though), and B.) the fight was too good for me to care. It felt like a fight you’d see in Metal Gear Rising, with the music in the background, the different movements that Raiden did, among other things. The fight is gorgeously animated, and there’s even stuff from Devil May Cry in here. The battleground is Fortuna City and the music during Berserker Rage Wolverine VS Ripper Mode Raiden was Vergil’s theme from Devil May Cry 4, “Let’s Just See.” It’s so good. I love the voice acting for this fight, the effects were fantastic, the music is an absolute jam, it’s all so good. All of this said, I’m actually really glad Raiden won even though I think Wolverine should’ve taken it. Somehow, I think I would like this fight less than I do now if Logan had won. Maybe I’m wrong about that, but I guess we’ll never know.
Yep. Basically, Raiden only won because he had the High-Frequency Blade. Without it, Wolverine would have just kept regenerating until Raiden ran out of fuel and couldn't keep fighting anymore. Not many characters could get the better of Wolverine while he's going all-out and is in his Berserker Rage, but Raiden just happened to be one of the few who could. I'd recommend taking a look at Megazord vs Voltron at some point too. That's one of their more enjoyable DeathBattles. Solid Snake vs Sam Fisher is also a great one for a Spy vs Spy match-up.
Still don't like how Death Battle gives out the most obvious outcomes by the time they either match two characters that is an easily predictable fight or when they show the type of research they do in each fight. It's one of the reasons why it's already discouraged me from watching most of them, but oh well. Your reactions are worth more than the death battles themselves so I'm glad to have had watched this video ^^
The one I want to see that probably won't see the light of day and doesn't exist yet. I would like to know who would win a Death Battle between Sailor Jupiter vs Cole MacGrath (the good side) from InFamous 2 Both electrical powerhouses and both excellent at CQC (close quarters combat) Both have weapons. Cole possessing the Amp while Jupiter (if you followed the live action series) has the electrical version of the samurai naginata.
