@@Cyberium Yeah , but the first encounter between the 2 was a fight to the death. You usually are not so comfortable against a new and temporary allie, who happen to be an ancient ennemie.
@@thegk-verse4216 I figure they developed a certain amount of mutual respect after fighting to a stalemate. It made them aware that any further attempt to kill the other could very easily result in their own death, and neither was willing to make that trade.
Very good scene framing showing Trevor pick up his whip when Alucard says Slave to our Families Wishes. Since the entire Belmont bloodlines futures were made up for them the moment Leon declared his crusader against the darkness.
None that we know of anyway. Some may have left the family to pursue other professions or to marry but they would've at least known how to defend themselves. Plus Hunting monsters is a dangerous job with a high fatality rate it's understandable that some members would sort out the Belmont Hold, procure weapons and equipment, and other things. The Castlevania story only really follows a half a dozen 'legendary' Belmont warriors across several generations.
@@djeverest4078 Yea and it wasn't uncommon for families bsck then to have large families especially one that is of higher class like the belmonts that work as monster hunters. High fatality means they need more bodies means they need more kids. So the belmont family is probably mega huge especially after these events with Trevor and Sypha.
@@oldfrend She and Trevor are supposed to marry down the line, Simon Belmont of the original Castlevania, Casltevania II and Super Castlevania IV is one of their descendants from a few generations later, so I guess the prophecy mentions that and that's why she blushes, probably never quite hit her she was the Scholar.
Wow,such an sweet company.... Alucard - the classy dhampire Sypha - the beautiful magician Trevor - the grumpy hunter. The person I miss here is Grant, the crazy pirat
If any additional proof is needed that Alucard is still a teenager, the extra flourish with the sword, and the hissing during the fight just before this scene is all the evidence you’d need.
His mom was a badass lol So prissy too not like in the snobby way but like in the "im just gunna walk into vlad the impalers castle, demand he teach me science, and give him a piece of my mind while im at it" kinda way
Alucard: The sarcastic DM who also takes the role of a player who get way too far into the story Sypha: The new player who tries their best to fit in but is a bit overwhelmed Trevor: The guy who's been playing D&D for a while, but always seems to turn up hungover and doesn't really know what's going on any more
@@kittykittybangbang9367 The series is based on Castlevania 3. In that game there were 4 characters that fought Dracula. The 4th was a hunchback named Grant that wanted revenge because Dracula killed his family.
So Trevor was severely out of practice and Alucard was holding back. Yet they both still stale mated. Now I can’t help but wonder how’d they fair against each other at peak level🤔
Slave to our families's wishes *Trevor pick up the whip* Yeah Trevor is the one who is truly a slave to his families's wishes, because in the end he will fight Vampires again and again
The Belmonts are all slaves to the family's wishes actually. And it's almost as if even God wanted them to be the ones to defend the world from Chaos so with each generation the Belmonts surpass their predecessor
He never said she would want him to kill Dracula, only that Lisa would want him to defeat him. Alucard is just probably being more retaliating and acknowledging that killing his dad might be the only real way to do so
@@csab8642 his father died when lisa died, and he's only one can remind dracula of that. practically speaking, sypha and trevor were the emotional support for alucard as he went and witnessed his fathers assisted suicide, because thats what lisa would have wanted
I feel like he might have gotten a new set of clothes at some point during the 321 years between this story and SotN. He seems like he could afford a tailor.
I ship Alucard and Sypha. They are very smart and they both love knowledge and in the library it seemed that Alucard wanted her attention and was jealous of Trevor.
if you know Castlevania lore, then yes she knows what happens at the end, the question is now that she knows shes apart of the legend, does fulfilling the prophecy happen regardless of that knowledge?
The prophecy said Alucard would meet a *scholar* and a hunter, and Sypha is a scholar of The Speakers. She blushed because it was then she knew she was part of the prophecy.
I took it as; Alucard"Do you now the whole story?" Sypha: Um-pss-uhhh, ye-yes. Of course i know it. Like, the baaaack of my haaaaaanndd....... *sweats profusely
The Speakers are a faction that travels around the world by caravan searching for knowledge. They don't write it down, but memorize it and teach what they have learned to the next generation of speakers. Most of them aren't capable of magic except for Speaker Magicians. Like Sypha in the video. Though we do not see others like her in the series.
@@Henrikstinker a thousand thanks, pal. 🙌👍 They kind of remind me of Ruri and the hundred tails from Dr. Stone. 😂 (Check it out, it's a really great anime). 😁
I loved the game, Castlevania Symphony of the Night. That's why I was so interested in this when it came out on netflix. I wish they would expand more on the game. Make the castle bigger, throw some different towns in there like they did in the older games, and even other castles in other locations that you have to go to. I don't know wtf they were trying to do in the netflix series...
@@therealistintheboot8822 I'll actually be going to Istanbul next month. I may possibly go to Romania and see what people believed to be Draculas castle, but not sure if I'll get a chance to.
Probably the bandit leader isaac killed and turned at the end of S2. How do i know? A mere demon won't get a frame for us to look if he's not important. Or maybe i'm just guessing.
Alucard just said a bunch of BS, lol. This show tries so hard to be philosophical and fails miserably. Symphony of the Night was more philosophical than this.
