After using nothing phone 1 for almost a year and I can say pretty confidently they will fix most of these issues with software updates. Phone 1 has been great so far and its still running so good I don’t plan on replacing it for another 2-3 years to come.
After watching the improvement in the first nothing phone i am 100 percent sure nothing is going to improve this phone in next coming months ....gonna buy it soon
I don't want to pay for that disco lights and wireless charger.. S23 at 52k during bbd sale is miles ahead. Nothing is overpriced for a startup company.
@@roninr8199 it's all about the mindset...the same guy named car pie was the founder of OnePlus and infact half of the team of OnePlus is working with nothing so by no means it is a new company atleast for me ...and for your information I am currently using s23 and tbh it feels like using a normal 30 35 thousand samsung phone except the camera which is the standout part of this phone
2:42 I asked Nothing's support about that issue then they said to avoid flickering they don't allow display to go below 60 Hz when the brightness is below 45% ..... so if the brightness is 100% then refresh rate will go from 1Hz to 120Hz.. and you are only RU-vidr who spotted out this issue.m great work bro
I received the nothing phone 2 yesterday. Pretty solid I'd say for now. Camera is not as good as the pixels but it is not so bad like what most reviews say. A little extra contrasty and saturated is all I feel. But one of the major issues I've faced is the speaker crackles bit in certain parts of a song on full volume. They should've provided dolby atmos at this price range tbh. For daily media consumption it's more than enough though. Performance is top tier no doubt at all. I've got the 8gb variant, haven't faced a single problem till now related to performance. And the phone is definitely much more beautiful than what you see in the videos, the hands on feeling is so good it almost melts your heart. Glyph lights are nice for the first few times but you'll get bored in a day or two. I'm still very happy with it. Only if the speaker was a little better.
Bro sorry to say you made a blunder by investing 45k for nothing (litreally its name justifies its value😅) ..you could have gone for s23 by adding extra 5 to 7k during BBD sale...
I am really appreciate this man efforts, because in this full video he has tried to review this phone as much as possible. Also he doesn't ask about subscription and like etc. That's the best thing what I have noticed in his all video.
*Things Nothing should do:* • Stop comparing yourself with Apple. You are way below. Just riding on great software doesn't work considering Pixel UI, One UI, IOS are already way ahead. There's no epic implementation of AI in the software like Google or feature sets like One UI. • Keep your price competitive not premium. Considering you're a new brand and your prices are even higher than your competitors for eg. OP11R. • Focus less on glyph lights and more on camera's or adding a telephoto lens maybe or having IP67/68 or having a dedicated security chip etc. • Improve your thermal performance • Stop your cringe marketing and reviews and try to be more consumer centric. People wanted improvements in cameras from NP1, not in glyph lights. • Video performance is crap, improve it. • HDR is crap, improve it. • Improve your Haptics and speakers. • Get rid of USB 2.0 already
I never faced any such camera issue. It's been a month that I've bought the phone and the camera is performing really very nicely. Even for ultrawide camera that is also working nicely only. So maybe your unit is having problems
Wow ! You are a hidden gem. I wonder how i missed your videos. I find your videos different, candid and highly informative. Thank you for your research and work. I have subscribed and will certainly recommend in my circles too. Keep it up. Looking for more interesting upcoming ones.
Maybe because of your moving clock widget, the screen refreshes at 120hz continuously! I might be wrong but try removing or changing the widget and then try again...
4:02 for real broo a true gaming phone is the one which can handle genshin impact with max graphics and 60 fps but not even iphone 14 pro max can do it for long hours
@@pranshavjoshi5088 Performance is good, and the camera is also good, but not comparable to others in the price category. Overall good package. I bought it just for the design.
There were few incidents where the photo was not saved in the memory... Many youtubers pointed out that (mostly who are camera centric youtubers) Nothing should stop comparing themselves with "apple" Their first competition should be with Samsung
Samsung beats Apple when it comes to camera among similarly priced phones(S23-iPhone14, 23Ultra-14ProMax). They should compare with Xiaomi or Realme first.
Im a phone (2) user, i bought this phone back in September 2023, the camera wasn't as good back then but now they've improved the camera alot but still not as good, but I've never faced such issues
Main soch Raha tha ye phone lene ka, par iski hi range mein mujhe OnePlus 11 mil Gaya woh bhi 16 GB variant after exchanging my old phone. Trust me, under 55k OnePlus 11 16 GB variant is the best phone. S23 ke level ka hai plus usse 1 saal zyada security updates 💯❤❤️
Bro only thing that concerns me about 11r is the screen protection.. there's no gorilla glass protection or any other protection.. also there's no tempered glass available ( at least good ones) .. I was thinking of buying 11r.. now nothing has bad cameras . I think I would go with s21 fe ( exynos 😢)
But isn't Wifi or internet widgets in AOD a security issue ? If your phone gets lost, someone can easily turn your data and Bluetooth off without unlocking it. I know someone can just turn off your phone, but this is something that concerns me.
This is what I love about Samsung. You have to unlock the phone to toggle anything from mobile data, wifi, bluetooth, etc. And of course you cannot switch it off too as the button for it will not respond unless you unlock the phone.
@@mihirojha4475 I think you can still power off the phone if you're holding the power button for around 10-15 seconds, And I think most of the phones have it as well that you cannot change quick settings tiles without unlocking.
OnePlus has the best security feature. Need to unlock phone to access notifications drawer and control center. And to switch off also you need password so even if the phone is stolen no one can do anything...i purchased op 11r
@@fazalurehaman1269 if you keep your power button pressed for 15 seconds, surely it force switches it off right ? Please let me know and as far as i know, most brands have the feature to access qs tiles after unlocking
I really like the fact that you tend to give the original feedback with sarcasm. Hope you stay the same throughout the years and provide these funny yet informational contents even when you have a million more subscribes, And you just added one more to the channel //
Your content is on point. However, I consider you should have waited a while for uploading its review. Nothing did the same exact thing with Phone 1 & now phone 2, that's what they provided is System updates. Anyways, looking forward to its long term review in future.
Use it as long as you can. OnePlus got dead after the 7 series. Camera downgrade, software downgrade and hardware is somewhat unreliable now. -an experienced core OnePlus fan. (Not anymore)
Oneplus 7 pro user here. Not my main phone anymore because I'm scared about damaging it. I keep it as my home phone for playing games, watching movies, music etc. The display is the best compared to any phone I've had till date other than it
I dont have any such premium segment phones but dude listening to your detailed style review or message to consumers about right product choice , real pros and cons just amazing . Nowadays reviews are about fixed 5,7 points and finished in few minutes to make short and crispy ,which i dont like. If Customer buying product then they should get a proper in detail review of used product. Which you are giving superbly.
Now atleast RU-vidrs are using Genshin Impact to show gaming capabilities for a phone. Cause playing Genshin will heat up phones like crazy even my phone one gets super hot in one hour of gaming but cools down in like 5mins which is superb. Was hoping to update for phone 2 but will wait for phone 3 maybe then they will give telephoto lens
Finally...FINALLY...someone who saw though the hype and gave honest review. Also considering its a 45k phone(just the device) vibration and speaker quality is poor. Thanks for the "nothing bhakto" ki ankhe kholne ke liye.😂
Moreover a phone that costs 45k and doesn't have 4k recording in front camera is a shame other bugs & issue can be solved with software update but think think can't Even Samsung A series phone 2yrs ago gave that feature & even pixel and iPhone also has
So get the feeling that YT tech reviewers WANT this phone to be good. Ershad did a review today as well. I understand it's uniqueness but let's accept it, As good as the Phone 1 was, they missed the mark with this one😢
I like yo7 bro, I appreciate you, I admire your boldness, the way you tell the truth about tech brands only few influencers do that, salute to you brother, lagey raho bhai, lagey raho.
Where were you all these days? I wish I had seen this video before buying this phone. I'm highly disappointed with nothing phone 2😢 you earned a subscriber!!
Yaar ye glyph ka jo delivery wale system ko Jo tumne useful bola hai na asal mein wo bas cool ban ne aur useful dikhne wala feature hai reality mein wo kitna useful hai wo koi user 5-6 months ke baad hi batayega...
As a nothing phone 2 user i can say it's previous camera situation after update camera improvement is visible and photos get much better.... I never face any camera or video issues as you show it's maybe your unit problem 🤷
bro make a video reviewing NOTHING phone 2 marking any improvements the phone has had until now so that if someone wants to buy it right now can judge if its even worth buying after its release 5 months ago. Because right now i can see the price of this phone has dropped to 40k on VijaySales so if the phone has improved, it might be a great option to purchase
The phone goes to 10Hz when the brightness is more than 50% and 1Hz when brightness is more than 90%. Below 50% it'll stay at 120Hz. Some apps go to 90Hz if refresh rate is set to dynamic, you can force all apps to 120 in settings though. Please research properly before concluding anything.
That's even more shameful. They used a low quality Ltpo panel. Seriously who the f uses their phone above 90% brightness? Even 50% or more is too much indoors. You should research properly about real usage scenarios before commenting.
@@sierrachief117 I spend half of my day outdoors with adaptive brightness on and still get 8hrs+ SOT coz this has LTPO. Whereas other phones suck at battery when adaptive brightness on (who tf will keep adjusting the brightness). Need anything else for real usage scenarios?
I used this phone, camera is absolutely mediocre, battery life is excellent i am getting around 8 hours of screen on time, light usage no gaming. Performance is excellent as well.
I think your unit is a faulty one I have a nothing phone 2 as well but the picture are not as disastrous as your unit captures so if possible check another unit
This phone was beating almost every flagship with 8 gen 2 in speed test. This shows how good the aosp UI source is and how good nothing optimized it. I hope they will improve on camera.
speed test doesn't mean anything, those phones with one good update will absolutely trash NP2, not to mention the raw performance is much much higher than this
@@jakoick1298 yes they mean alot. they tells you about the efficiency of the software, mean if the same software used with 8 gen 2, it would destroy the competition
@@harshmehta329 it doesn't mean a lot bcoz 8+gen 1 is now a matures processor, apps are now fundamentally compatible with it, whereas Gen 2 is still new and lack optimisation not just from OEM's but developers as well.
@@mnvshekhawat gaming krta hu 2-3 saal ke liye phone chaiye budget 20k Amoled display and 256 gb storage needed If not infinix gt 10 pro then any other suggestions?
WOW, what a review Sirji. Kaan thak gaye mere...lekin bandh nahi kar paya, kyonki content itna behterin tha. Really appreciate your efforts in putting it all together. Agree with you abt the pricing. Its the same with the fast food giants - take pizza for example- veg/non veg on a round bread. In Italy they just chew it down, out here we enjoy paying 600 for the same thing. Same goes for nacos and tacos...are bhai, yeh toh makke ki roti hai....Mexico waali. All the best. Keep making these professional, true review videos.
damn, i had given up hopes on indian tech youtubers because of how ABSURD their videos were (I am talking about the top indian tech youtubers), most of them are sponsor driven and sell outs and very few gave informative, OBJECTIVE opinions on the devices so i always referred the foreign tech youtubers. Until i found this channel and i can safely say this is one of the most reliable source of review i could find on the devices i was interested in purchasing, keep up the good work my man.
Priority pe depend krta hai. Agar camera chaiye to pixel lo, performance chaiye toh oneplus ( camera bhi aacha hai ), software experience hi chaiye toh nothing lo. Aur agar ek mahina wait kr skte ho, toh Big billion days me Galaxy S23 lelo, overall perfect phone hai, great software, flagship camera, performance ki toh pucho hi mat, bs thoda compact hai (mujhe padand hai, baki apki preference)
@@krushnakekan181actually vro Mera budget hai 40k and I'm hoping कि 5000 ka drop aajaye bbd mein iss phone के Har variant pe taaki top variant le sakun. Mujhe pixel chaiye tha lekin usme heating and network issue itne hai ki rhene diya plus oneplus mein green line issue chal rhi that's why
@@saahilbawa2251 recently OnePlus ne lifetime screen warrenty issue ki hai toh green line issue ab resolved hi hai toh i think it'll be a safer bet. Aur agar bbd tk rukna hai aur 40k budget hai toh iphone 13 is also a great choice. Personally mujhe ios pasand nhi hai toh mai avoid krta hu. Overall i admit ki iphone is a better smartphone. Better software support, better camera aur overall package aacha hai. (60fps display chhod ke)
i have OnePlus 11 and if my brightness is below 30% its always on 120hz if more than 30 but below than 50/55% its stay on 10hz and if its more than 60% its comes to 1hz so like this refresh rate goes up and down i have noticed it and So like OnePlus Nothing is also might be doing same you can slide brightness up and down to see its doing same or not ...and let me know ..😊
You are absolutely right, Both cameras are very terrible with so many issues as you have mentioned however I've emailed 14 times with tech people and they are trying to divert the entire conversation rather than understanding it. Such a Dumbasspur people.
@11:05 aapne kaafi achhi baat kahi..icon pack monochrome hone ke wajah se timepasswale app search karane me dikkat ho sakati hai aur usake wajahse koi bhi user use thode der ke liye avoid kare...
@@JessePinkman-uf9zhI agree. Just the display is a bit better on the op11r coz of higher pixel density and resolution. Other than that both are well balanced panels.
@@faizkhan977 and better build. 11r has curved edges and poor Dragontrail protection with a plastic frame. Recipe for a disaster. OnePlus also doesn't offer a 120Hz refresh rate for most applications.
Exactly !!, I have noticed same thing from beginning that display is not going 120htz to 1 htz, Its always 120 htz. I thought I am the only one having this issue
In his homescreen, his clock widget is moving, probably that's why it didn't go below 120. On lockscreen, the carrier name is scrolling on top. That's why it's 120. It doesn't go to 1 most of the time but 10hz is very frequent.
