Diversification is the secret to optimal performance. This is why I have my interests set on market sectors based on performance and projected growth, such as the EV sector, renewable energy, Tech, and Health. Keep investing regularly and you'll be blown away how much it can change in a few short years. Here's to $1 million and to FIRE
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors I can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
'Laurelyn Gross Pohlmeier' a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market.
Investing in Roth IRA can be a good choice since they are funded with after tax dollars, your contributions can grow tax-free over time. When you withdraw money from your Roth IRA in retirement, you won’t have to pay tax on it, which will help you keep more of your hard-earned money. I retired with 5 million dollars

On the contrary, even if you’re not skilled, it is still possible to hire one. I am a project manager and my personal port-folio of approximately $750k took a big hit in April due to the crash. I quickly got in touch with a financial-planner that devised a defensive strategy to protect and profit from my port-folio this red season. I’ve made over $150k since then
Finding financial advisors like Rebecca Nassar Dunne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time . I was able to build a business from my returns

So how exactly can we guard against the coming financial reset for 2024? Like what are really the best strategies to make our portfolio recession proof against the incoming financial reset? I'm very worried about my $110k stock portfolio.
Knowledgeable Investors know where and how to put money during a crisis in order to reduce risk and maximize returns. See a market strategist with experience if you are unable to manage these market conditions.
I agree, having the right plan is priceless. My portfolio is well-suited for any market and recently doubled since early last year. My CFP and I are aiming for a seven-figure goal, which might take another year to achieve.
Great gains! Can you share your CFP details? I'm gaining more cash flow from my job and want to invest in stocks and alternative assets to build wealth.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
One lesson I've learnt from billionaires is to always put your money to work, and diversifying your investments. I'm planning to invest about $30k of my savings in stocks or bonds this year, and I hope I make profits.
You are right. The best approach I feel is to diversify investments- by spreading investments across different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.
That makes sense. I’ve been using a financial market expert for two years now and I own a six-figure diversified portfolio from investing in stocks. I want to diversify more this year, though.
Sonya Lee Mitchell is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

Black tax is very emotional. Its sickening, its painful. Its not that we dont want to help, but its overwhelming. Whenever you receive a phone call from home you dread. Because money has to be part of the solution. Mungu atusaidie
Lynn... This is the best show you' ve brought this year. Very informative of all the shows. People are illeterate financially out here, plis bring people of this calibre more. Experts in their area of specialisation. Thank you so much Suzzy.

Ecclesiastes 11:2-6 - Invest in Seven ventures, yes, in Eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. If clouds are full of water, they pour rain on the earth. Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, there it will lie. Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things. Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.... Sow. Cast your seed. Then its God above all.
I'm so grateful for Coach Susan Wanjiku. She helped me understand budgeting for my expenses and saving my money in very ideal institutions. I've achieved a lot financially after following her very practical "Financial Literacy" classes. I think she should be the next Cabinet Secretary for Finance in Kenya. Her content is ever educative, entertaining and engaging. Thumbs up 👍 Susan.
This interview has literally changed my whole life!!! Now this is how finding your purpose looks like, and using, living in your purpose, Both Lynn and Susan, you guys are pouring to us,...each in their own purpose! My Gosh!! Mind Blown
I like it that Lynn is letting the guest speak without too much interrupting her.i have seen interviews where the host keep steering the conversation in different areas showing how they knw things. So kudos lynn
Susan helped me so much in savings! Yani I’m so grateful for her. A year listening to her and following along with the good stuffs she shares changed my life. I was able to save a lump sum for the first time. She is a gem❤️ sending you love from Tanzania 🇹🇿
My Sacco gives me 13% pa and it's had been constant even during COVID-19. But I have learnt a lot on bonds and bills. That I will start doing bills and bonds while still in Sacco. It's a very informative show Lynn, thanks much.
I traded well on my Demo account but when I invested in to my main account i lost all my funds. Please i need an expert to assist me with my trading. It's frustrating how people loss funds in this trading, I really feel so bad.
I think. Its really needful for beginners not to settle for videos alone or they will see themselves losing all their money just like me when I newly started trading with this videos here on RU-vid.
Not me sitting here in my 40s listening to a 29 yrs old, teach me some things i know not about money 😢. After being in business for over 15 yrs. Life has no balance. I am really taking notes. .
Wow I didn't knw a friend could be this informed. Happy to see you Susan a childhood friend. You need to help most of us here. Thanks Lynn for hosting her. Watching you from USA seattle Washington.

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER👍🏾4YRS HAVE BEEN SAVING WITH KCB WITHOUT WITHDRAWALS BECAUSE AM IN GULF,IMAGINE HOW MUCH I WOULD HAVE BEEN MAKING IF I KNEW ALL THIS😭THANK YOU LYNN TEAM AND SUSAN FOR THIS FREE TRAINING❤ GOD BLESS YOU🌹🙏🏾🇰🇪
Lynn and Suzan, hello from Uganda ❤. Lynn I have learnt so much from this conversation that I'm feeling on top of the world with my finances. Now I know what to do next. Thank you Suzan for the lesson on what a SACCO is for, and for showing me that I have to get knowledge on Financial Literacy FIRST before i decide where to invest. Thank you for that example on Asset-rich and Cash poor people; l have seen this around me. Thank you Lynn, this interview was worth the length of time it took😊. God bless you both. Susan I will definitely come to your RU-vid channel 👍
I have come here to watch this episode, courtesy of my best financial literacy coach and pal, CuttieKijo. Half-way in, and am already blown away! From Waceke Nduati's "Making Cents- Real conversations about personal finance" and now this, all in the space of 10 days, am asking myself how did I just fluke by life? After more than 20 years in P & P employment, for the first time someone is making "financial freedom" look realistic and not a utopian ideal. Did someone say she's only 29, but she speaks with the wisdom of the ancient sages. I'll echo what one of the commenters said, it's like attending an Ivy League classroom, but without paying those stratospheric school fees!
I'm very good at saving. Black tax tried to shake me a bit but I drew financial boundaries on everyone coz we can't live like this. Kila mtu ajitegemee. I'm very proud to be called stingy ❤
@lynnNgugi, Picking from Susan's story and exposure, there's need to expose children more to diverse opportunities and professions. I relate. I could see Susan's potential from highschool.
My key takeaways-: 1. Invest in financial education: It will pay you the best return (you can never be conned, you cannot invest in the wrong place, and you will make maximum use of what you have) 2.The goal is to be wealthy and not to look wealthy
Its so important to have an emergency fund. I remember how as a struggling graduate student in America I never had enough it wasn't even a hand to mouth living, it was bad. When I finally graduated and got my first job, I started saving half of what I made, I hated poverty so I was ready to sacrifice. I also read every personal finance book I could find and started putting money in a retirement fund, buying stocks and bonds, investing in Kenya, etc. Now I'm at a place where I'm not worried about the future unless something really unexpected happens. Please listen to this lady and start putting money away, even if its just ksh5000 a month, you'll not be caught off-guard.
😂Lynn, I thank you very much for hosting Susan. Very inspiring, very down to earth, very talented. I am on the fifth floor and am still learning money management.
Wueh! Happened to me yrs back. I got this job and I was just getting on my feet. I did it in almost a year. Wueh! In January I was called to the office and they said that was my last month at work. I was traumatised...I cried. I don't even want to remember.
The minimum face value purchase for Treasury bills and bonds is Kshs. 50,000.00 for non-competitive bids and Kshs. 2,000,000.00 for competitive bids, and must be invested in denominations of Kshs. 50,000.00.
This is so far the best show i've watched on RU-vid. God bless you Lynn for bringing Susan to englihten us on financial management. You both look so beautiful!!
Hi Lynn, I'm Phyllis currently in UK.i lost 9.2million in online investments and I'm going crazy to save the list...would you kindly connect me with your wonderful guest as I really need to pick up my piece and start again again..hoping to come to Kenya end of May and would love to meet if possible..Best regards Phyllis
Wow. Very informative. I really wanted information on Mon Market Fund and this has just done it. Bils and bonds to me seemed like a big thing that needed a lot of money. Financial literacy is what we should be learning from pple who are honest. Thank you Susan. Thank you Lyyn. Good job.
Chamas are economically viable. They have enabled people to afford what they would otherwise not have been able to afford as individuals. So is merry go rounds, it's like getting a loan without interest. That's not a social benefit.
to be honest after watching this i've just realized that my plan to wealth was completely off. this helped me to get on the right track towards achieving my financial goals. thankyou
This show is top notch, i love how informative Susan is and how she delivers it, for sure she is a good teacher. Thanks alot may God bless you you two abundantly
As a PhD student in finance and strategic management, it is a FACT that u NEVER MAKE good money returns with money. ,I would alive people to invest in real estate or start a good well planned business. What she is advising, is ONLY good for wealthy people who hv huge money and hv already invested in businesses or real estates snd they need to save the lots of money they have.
Money market funds require a minimum 100/500 and bonds are bills are 50k. With all due respect for you as a PHD student, there's no single path to wealth creation and investment.
One of the reasons i follow up these stock videos is to improve the returns of my investments and i can’t really say I’ve been seeing noticeable change though …. I’ll keep following to improve my investment philosophy anyway and find better ways to create smarter investments.
Investing in this economy is a hell at times for the average person that wants full control of their finances, Even investing in ETF stocks can be risky
The question to be asked at times is not if the government or the economy is responsible for the sudden dramatic shifts in the economy but if we are taking the necessary measures to avoid making losses no matter the situation even if the pay roll is not in your favor.
One of the reasons i follow up these stock videos is to improve the returns of my investments and i can’t really say I’ve been seeing noticeable change though …. I’ll keep following to improve my investment philosophy anyway and find better ways to create smarter investments.
What would you consider the necessary measures though? I was at a seminar two days ago where investors gave their opinions on how we can better investment for proper returns.
Ngai, I have learned a lot today. I invested in a money market, but withdrew my money because I heard there was a scandal. I think they are still operating. I have two Sacco’s including Maridady. This was very interesting teaching and I will look into the bonds. Asante, for this, something I needed to hear.
Very educative. A guy earning ksh120000 and saving Ksh20000 is eventually better off than one earning Ksh500000 and saving nothing has explained why I saw drivers doing better than their bosses.
