Devin Hester may be the strongest candidate for the best player at any given position. There will always be Brady vs. Montana, Deacon Jones vs. Reggie White, etc...but, honestly: how can you make another case for best returner with anyone else other than Devin Hester? Most WR and RB are in a good class when they reach 10,000 career yards, but he did it with return yards, and added another 3,000 as a receiver.

Yeah the Steelers wanted him to score, because that's the only way they'd get an opportunity to get the ball back and tie/win the game. If Elliot were to slide before the endzone, they can bring the clock down to 1 second, hit the field goal, and secure the win without giving the steelers a chance.

Kevan Miller Awareness? AWARENESS? Dude tf are you talking about? He didn’t even realize that the ball was on his ass until some guy was screaming and trying to grab it. He got lucky that the ball landed on his asscheeks so he could get it. Don’t act like he just KNEW if he maneuvered his ass to the left a little bit by his calculations and goddamn “awareness and control” he was able to pick it off.

Awareness had little do with the play at all. The ball landed on his ass by sheer luck as he didn't do anything to defend the ball, and it happened to fall perfectly in place so that it didn't fall. If anything, Lattimore messed up on the play. If you go back and watch it, he was beaten by a 4th string WR who would've caught the first down had it not been for his butter fingers. That play was a bad one by Lattimore is anything. He was beaten for a first down by a back-up WR. It's crazy how you think that play was anything but sheer dumb luck.

I know kickers don’t usually get much recognition on “greatest plays” lists, but I feel like Jake Elliot’s game winning 61yd field goal for the Eagles against the Giants in 2017 should be a pretty strong contender. To quote Wikipedia: “It was tied for the 7th-longest field goal in NFL history, and the longest since November 2015. It was also the longest field goal in Eagles history, the longest ever kicked in Philadelphia in an NFL game, and the longest ever by an NFL rookie.“ Whenever someone breaks a rookie record at their position I feel like that deserves some props, especially considering it won the game.

Konner exactly not vary many. And I honestly can’t even include RG3 because he wasn’t vary much of a finesse runner like Vick and Watson. He relied too much on his speed and took a lot of big hits because of that. Vick and Watson have RB instincts but happen to also be able to throw the ball.

We wont ever see another mike vick. he is one of the only players Ive ever watched that would make you hold your breath and be on edge of your seat waiting for that highlight of the day to happen. hes not best qb ever by far but he was one of the most exciting players ever to watch play. I wouldnt give up Matt for him but some days be cool to see them swap for few plays.

Damn, wish the bears won back then. Patrick Peterson is a beast and so glad he's with the cardinals still. (from AZ) I really hope RGIII makes a comeback. Beckham Jr.'s catch is the best of all time I hope David Johnson terrorizes for the Cardinals for at least the next decade.

Bush did pretty good with a couple teams like the dolphins but i was also disappointed by how teams used him but he also did get injured a lot. If you saw Reggie in college im sure ur a little disappointed by his NFL career because he's the best college back i've ever seen to this day.
