#suggestion I just learned that GM Gilles Miralles died last week at the age of only 55. He was twice a champion of France but also a great man and chess teacher that made me and a lot of other kids love chess. It would a beautiful hommage for you to cover a game of his. He was a specilist in 1.b4 so you should be able to find a game that you like.
Arjun was 9/9 in blitz after 9 rounds in lindores abbey . Peter svidler said he hadn't seen anything like that . Clean sweeping top pros like that in blitz
@@leadnitrate2194 yeah hikaru alireza magnus the top 3 giants and many more weren't playing and by the way we are talking about blitz fabi is not good as he is in classical .and i think u don't know but bullet blitz and classical are very different .i am just telling don't overhype players.as anish said the opponent of arjun were very amateurs most of his game were to his opening prep and i didn't see any brilliancy .let see he performs in "claasical" against top gm's
@@prashantthakur9329 man what i meant is majority of the player were playing for fun and there were some pros but not many .what i meant to say is that arjun has to performance in the classical section which is different in blitz some random gms can defeat super gms but in classical you should have some deep understanding which pragg has let see what will he do and by the way few months back people were calling nihal the best now u have not heard his name in months .so first understand what i am saying
#suggestion Anna Muzychuk vs Ori Kobo ;Gibraltar Masters (2020)."Courage is knowing what not to fear!" Surprised this beauty of a game hasn't been covered on this channel. Should've been narrow runner up for the best game of 2020!
Alireza is a storm that is sweeping the chess world . Andrew Esipenko has also proved he belongs in the elite category . Arjun has improved a lot but needs some time to reach Esipenko and Alireza .
I don’t know why Magnus wants to have Alireza challenge him, Alireza stands no chance of winning. Alireza is an amazing player but he is not ready to dethrone the world champ quite yet.
A subtle point I realized when I became a really strong player is that sometimes your best piece has 2 really good squares it can be on, each leading to different play. In this case, its best square early on may be a square that is one move from these two good squares, threatening to radically change the arena of play. This is part of the art of maneuvering.
Really takes some time to develop good chess strategy. Pieces activity, good squares, defense of the king, good diagonals for bishop, creating outpost for knights, the right time to activate queen, when to switch from defense to offense etc. Crazy game.
That is an interesting idea, Why not 3 squares, or 4 squares, but only 2? Can you elaborate on this? From a strong player like you it will be useful for us who struggle with our games.
@@lalappanlolappan2605, I think that having three or more really good choices can happen too, but it's just so much less likely (and thus so much less common) than having two really good choices. (This would be in the midgame on a busy board, not in the endgame when there may be tons of good moves.) Then again I am not a strong player at all, so take that with a grain of salt.
What incredible value !! Agad gives the best content, the most intriguing problem solving chances and now the Best Value as well; 3 games in 1 video !! Hurrah for his Agad and his fantastic channel !!
His game against le quang liem in tata steel india rapid was great and his defense against levon aronian was perfect in the final round. All top moves even vishy was very surprised during the commentary
Arjun gained over 100 elo in the last 6 months .2660 elo. Now world number 4 junior . He is already world top 15 in blitz . Incredible talent . Magnus thinks he is a special talent as well
Everyone talks about rameshbabu pragannananda, vidit gujrati and nihal sarin when they talk about next generation of indian chess talents....but i always found this guy very intimidating! The way he is racing forward and the hige amount of games he is playing per year is fearsome, just like aliReza. It is still to be seen, whether he takes the podium on their level such as aliReza.....but he is certainly someone to look out for and watching and keeping a close eye on this guy's progress
Vidit had a really good start of the tournament and was actually leading, he then fell off a bit and lost a crushing final game against karjakin. #suggestion
Seems to me that gave was lost on move 16 (the first original move of the game) when Black moved the knight to A6 -- far from the scene of battle. From that point on Black was effectively playing down a knight, enabling White to launch an irresistible assault on the Black king's fortress.
@@visheshtyagi8041 Okay i agree that it was a bit to harsh....but its just surprising that a gukesh is good at chess while worshipping cows..... don’t get me wrong, i am glad that you guys start to figure out the internet....
@@water8773 worshipping or honouring mother nature and its creations may be unthinkable for your religion which only believes in a male god in clouds which thinks salvation is only through their religion. Our belief is all encompassing and not narrow minded like only i am right, follow me or go to hell. we see divinity in all living beings, mother nature. So for you cows are for milk and meat for us more. Learn to respect and accept others and their beliefs
Request you to make more videos on Arjuns game & also wanna inform his name derives from the name of Arjuna from hindu mythology Mahabharat, Arjuna was a great warrior in Mahabharat (one of pandavas) just fyi (maybe helpful ) Even Arjun Eraigasi's games are just like a warrior. would request you to make his games more videos as he is already becoming a chess icon after Vishy in india
Hold on to your horses, Arjun is a great talent but lets not get ahead of ourselves, Arjun was the highest rated player in the Challengers and the favorite to win it, next year in the Masters section he will be the lowest rated player there, and it's going to be the toughest tournament he'll be in to date. It's a huge difference.
Tata Steel Masters is for the very best players in the World, Tata Steel Challengers is the B group, for the next lower tier players, still high rated IM and GM's but not quite elite level.
