Lavenham -Set in the heart of rural Suffolk, Lavenham is considered one of England’s most perfect medieval villages. A tribute to its 300 plus preserved ancient buildings and collection of colourful timber-framed cottages.
In Tudor times, Lavenham was said to be the fourteenth wealthiest town in England, despite its small size.
Although Lavenham goes back to Saxon times, it is best known as a medieval wool town.
Lavenham - is also known as Godric’s Hollow the wizarding village in Harry Potter famous for being the home of the Gryffindors, the Pevrills, the Bagshotts, the Dumbledores and the Potters themselves.
