Thank you for this. I use the shakes to replace breakfast. My metabolism is low and I gain weight when I eat breakfast everyday. Was looking for a good filling meal replacement. Plus it saves time from food prep.

I ordered the plant based, Vanilla and Chocolate from Garden of Life. This is my opinion : I cannot imagine anyone being able to swallow this product. Heavy Chemical scent and taste. Extremely thick even after shaking. I couldn't get through one serving. I have to send both flavors back.

If this is what your channel is then THANK YOU. Im just finding this because I was trying the bolthouse farms dutch chocolate banana protein plus shake today. So i was searching on that. The way youre zoomed into the ingredients and talking about everything is ao helpful. SO HELPFUL. I have been trying to lose weight but was using trulicity through a weight clinic. Ive made plenty of positive changes in my life to support the medication and ive also added some vitamins and stuff to my mornings. Anyway, the trulicity started causing GI issues so ive stopped taking it but its not left my system yet. Im putting myself on a mostly liquid diet with 1 solid meal a day until my digestion goes back to normal. I must have stood in front of the case with these drinks today for 45 mins. Its so confusing sometimes to sort out what im reading. Sometimes something (sugar) is "ok" because of the source vs added sugars. Its a lot to learn. I look forward to bwing able to look at a label like this and just UNDERSTAND what im reading without a struggle.

Although there's an "anabolic window" post workout, I thought that the total daily protein intake was most important for overall muscle growth. It is not necessary to immediately pound protein 30-45 minutes after workout (a common myth 0:28) as muscle protein synthesis has been shown to continue even 24-hours or longer post workout. If you could correct me or talk about the science behind this muscle regeneration/synthesis that would be awesome! :)

I used to drink premiere protein, then I started watching your videos and learned to read ingredients not just look at the numbers. Also I always got an upset stomach and had to be near a bathroom whenever I drank those drinks, lol. So yeah, gave those up a long time ago. I have so many friends who are on keto or other so called “clean eating diets” and they always post about premier protein and how great it is and they drink it all the time in their coffee. I just wanna tell them, “have you actually read the ingredients? Cuz if you really do want to eat clean then you wouldn’t be drinking this stuff.” I’m going to share this video and hopefully they will see it.

Purchased the Garden of Life Organic Protein Plant-Based Vanilla protein drink from Amazon last week and just tried it today for lunch, FYI it tastes disgusting, LOL but I will continue to drink it because it IS good for me and I have 11 more bottles to drink!

I found out the hard way that you can't outtrain a bad diet. As soon as I started following the Agoge Diet, I have noticed awesome muscle growth.

You seem to mostly focus on the ones that are available on Amazon. Also, like here you just skimped over some of the protein drinks. Hopefully, next time if you are reviewing something please cover everything that is present.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my dad years ago and it’s definitely not an easy life situation. I was interested in trying the garden shakes but they are not currently available on Amazon and oddly enough they had bad reviews. I can’t seem to find them anywhere.
