It Takes Two is one of the best and most fun games I have played recently. My husband and I always played it at night after putting our kids to bed and even ended up playing until 5am one time without realizing it. Getting through the levels was just so much fun and and the mini games were really fun as well. My kids also played it and loved it just as much. Great game. Have been recommending it to friends and family.

@@lfls923 I would play that last because playing Returnal for most people that don't learn how to properly play the game can be frustrating. My friend played Mile Morales and loved it and when he played Returnal he hated the style of game it is and hasn't went back to his PlayStation 5 since June. He was looking forward to Forbidden West but that's been delayed so his PlayStation 5 will likely just sit there collecting dust.

@@graygray2444 Why would he play Assassin's Creed for the PlayStation 5 when he owns a gaming rig that can do ultra settings on pretty much everything and have it run at a locked 120 with native 4K? He only plays the games that are exclusive to the PlayStation 5 whether it be platform, console or standalone exclusive. As for Horizon Zero Dawn he would only play the game if it got a legit PlayStation 5 upgrade with ray tracing and a new trophy list and that also goes for any other game that he has already gotten the platinum for the game. The only PlayStation 4 game that meets the requirement of him going back to is Gravity Rush 2.

They added “checkpoints” sort of to returnal recently. iF you make it to the end level boss and you die, you still have to start the level over. Once you get past the first section of the level you can get into a warping thing that takes you right to the end level boss.

One of the best games ever, i haven't played it since the ps4 release but now i've rebeaten the superior ps5 version and the experience is one of the best in recent memories. death stranding is like the 2001 a space odyssey of gaming, so elusive & mysterious but so powerful & captivating at the same time wit the greatest ending ever in gaming, truly one of the best games ever made. I love my sony exclusives yo, their more than video games, their experiences.

I never had any crashes either and luckily hadn't because I had several runs of over 10 hours or so. The game so far is my game of the year and likely won't be dethroned by anything coming out in the fall/holiday season especially seeing Horizon II Forbidden West has been delayed.

Returnal is 1080p internally it uses taa to reconstruct it to a 1440p-esque image, which is then upscaled to 4k

I enjoy it but I honestly think it could've just been DLC. But it's one of those where I would still justify buying full price. Perhaps its better on PS5 because I could only get the PS4 version because you cant really buy a PS5.

I feel your pain, I'm a die hard ratchet and clank fan and can't play that game yet, or demon's souls. Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, both Spiderman games, God of War, and more are available on ps4 or ps4 pro, actually have the first two installed rn on my pro and they are highly recommended, by me at least.

Ratchet and Clank was the first game I beat on the PS5, Returnal is a bit more difficult and I doubt I'll be rolling the credits anytime soon. After upgrading Watchdogs and being able to play as wrench through the whole game, I've been playing that. Have to have the season pass to play as wrench or Aiden for the main game. If you just get the bloodlines you can't use them through the main story. Anyway I think I might give Death Stranding one more try.

Never had any glitches with Returnal. Reason why they haven't implemented checkpoint saves is likely because you can cheese the game that way and nullifies the sense of accomplishment. I'm just glad that I got the platinum before or if Housemarque decides to cheese the game.

I agree with almost everything Wood said, the only thing I can't get behind is saying that Ratchet and Clank (and by extension all PS5 games) are worth £70/$70 I don't think the big price increase was necessary at all

Save states are great and all but for returnal or any rogue like it mitigates any reason to learn from your mistakes or miss out on an awesome uprade you might've gotten on your next run
