I apologize for my absence from my channel as of late. In July I became severely ill from black mold toxicity which ended up with us having to abandon our apartment and lose everything in the process down to the clothes on our back. I'm now settled in a new place but the neurological effects are still effecting me so going forward it will be a challenge to be as productive as I have been on this channel. The hope is that with time those effects will wear off but there is no time table and some don't recover. @@JacobDarkOfficial from everything I've read the 4080 and 4080 Super are almost identical. within a couple frames in most games...but that $200 price drop is the kicker.

@@Ashen-coin Yup, been using it for 2 weeks now, It’s a fantastic monitor. I honestly have no complaints, it gets plenty bright and I have no issues using it during the day.

Habe diesen Monitor im Vergleich mit dem Asus PG34WCDM getestet! Das Bild beim MSI Monitor ist deutlich klarer und schärfer. Das Textbild beim PG34WCDM ist leider nicht gut!

Habe den pg27aqdm da Asus nur 800r curved hat was mir zu krass ist. Wollte gerne ein Lg Panel. Jetzt hört man im Video das Oled Care aus ist wenn man adaptiv Sync an macht ist doch echt doof?!

The fact that OLED care is switched off with adaptive sync is a big problem because you always have to switch it on and off. Do all manufacturers do it like this?

Finally! The first review for this monitor even though it’s been out a while. I currently have an OLED G8 and am less than impressed with the picture quality compared to the S95B tv and even my LG C1. Now you’re saying you’ve confirmed it’s a 3rd gen OLED panel, but does it actually look better or get brighter than the existing 34” QD-OLEDS? If you haven’t seen them, how does it compare to say the new 27” QD-OLED from MSI? Since they’re the same gen panels and PPI they should look and perform the same with the exception of aspect ratio and refresh rates. I’m just very skeptical of MSI’s claim that this is a new gen panel given that all the on paper specs seem to be the same as the other 34” panels. Especially when they’re the only ones releasing a new 34”. Anyways I’ve liked and subbed. Sorry for the super long comment but any insight you can provide at all would be GREATLY appreciated! :)

While I haven't used the other 34" OLEDs MSI did confirm to me this is a 3rd gen Samsung panel. I'm currently playing Halo Infinite and honestly the picture is beautiful. I can't say how much of a difference you'll notice bit I'd pick this over the 27" all day just foe immersiveness. If you do end up buying I'd super appreciate you using my link

@@duncethedoctor9054I didn't try the 27 I tried the 32" and yes I'd say that. If I had to choose one to keep it would be the 34" and that's exactly what I did.

@ith1849 Looking at the email now where I specifically asked "is the QD OLED panel in the 341CQP the same 3rd gen Samsung panel used in all the new QD OLED models?" and was replied with "Yes, the 341CQP uses the same 3rd Gen Samsung panels that everyone else has." Also because the panel has the same purple hue that the new QD OLEDs have I'd assume it is the new Samsung panel. All that said I reached out again just to confirm and will update when I get a response.

I bought this monitor today i noticed the screen is not fitting perfectly there is a blank space on the right side i though it's faulty screen but it seems you have the same thing so i guess it's by default from manufacturer

Was this confirmed to be using the same 3rd-gen qd-oled panels? It doesn’t advertise the improvement in text clarity shown in the 4k models and has a lower Clear MR rating

I would only pick this one over the 32 if you plan to do editing, for gaming/media consumption I'd go 32 all day.

I prefer this one, you save about $300, more if the MSI is on sale. I've been using this one as my main monitor and I'm totally satisfied.

Have u experienced any stuttering with this monitor? Mines is stuttering.. It stutters even when im not running any programs or games. My taskbar stutters and also when l open up a browser that stutters periodically too.. Stutters when Adaptive sync is on and off. same when i turn on HDR as well. I have updated my drivers. updated the monitors firmware made sure my refresh rates are all correct. at 175hz but still stutters. thought it might be my DP cable but tried two different cables and the same stutter. my old mini led monitor did not have this issue, all my other monitors are fine..

I had stuttering with my old Displayport cable that worked fine in my 1080p monitor...I bought a new top-quality cable and everything cleared up. The HDMI cable that came with the monitor produced a 120Hz refresh rate and none of the high-res settings produced a proper aspect ratio...don't know what that was all about.

G8 is gen 1 panel and this is gen 3 (or 2.5). Text clarity is much better on gen 2 and gen 3 panels.

@@LaDeXi What are your thought on the review below? It from this link to Best Buy: "MSI is trying to pass this panel off as a 3rd gen/next gen panel. It is not. It is a gen 1 panel with the worse subpixel layout that they've slapped "AI" into the branding to try and label it is a gen 3 panel. Do yourself a favor and wait until the proper "next gen" panel comes to ultrawide, or look at the options with a 16:9 or 32:9 aspect that actually have 2nd and 3rd gen panels."

It states on MSI website that it can go up to 175hz, but mine reaches 120hz only. And when I change it to 120hz, the display automatically shrinks and I have 2 black borders on left and right. Right now for fullscreen I have to keep it at 50hz. It is a new build. Any idea why this happens?

are you using hdmi or display port? do you change the settings through windows or directly through monitor?

@@Rasakson thanks, I'm using hmdi 2.1. I had the display 3440x1440 through windows settings. What I did to solve it, was pushing the navi key behind the monitor, go to settings, choose HDMI 2.1 option and change from Console mode to PC mode. It unlocked the 175hz 3440x1440 and no problems. @@Gossosgrocs weird because as far as i know hdmi (no matter if the new 2.1 version) is only able to push to max 120hz output. are you using your screen on pc or console? if it's on pc I would still highly recommend display port

@@MrGoji12345 1.4a since the monitor has a 1.4a connection, the newest dp 2.1 is only supported by the newest amd gpus even the rtx 40 series only support 1.4a this may change when newer nvidia gpus are released
