What other career-related topics would you like to see covered in a future video?

Is there any intersection between CRE and M&A in your experience?
@BreakIntoCRE
@BreakIntoCRE Месяц назад
@@tagritel Lots of transferable skills, and definitely some overlap when it comes to the underwriting/analysis process. Entire real estate operating companies can also be bought and sold, and these transactions function very similarly to M&A transactions of operating companies in other industries.

Would you consider CBRE's Financial Consulting Group to be in this list?

@@BreakIntoCRE that’s great, very interesting. So someone running a small brokerage focusing on CRE could definitely get involved in the process of facilitating m&a deals too since a lot of those businesses might be housed under a commercial building/ unit… that’s my understanding at least… Thank you for taking the time to reply!

I recently sold my condo for $400k and i want to invest the money in the stock market. However, it appears the market is at an all-time high. Should I invest elsewhere or wait for a market correction?

The stock market is risky But staying on the sidelines is riskier. Missing the next bull run will be far more costly to your long-term wealth than getting in at the "right price". Consult a financial advisor if you're unsure how to proceed.

You're right, I and a few Neighbours in Bel-Air Area work with an advisor who prefers we DCA across other prospective sectors. Instead of a lump sum purchase, Following this, my portfolio grew 37% in the last quarter

Mind if I look up your advisr please? I've worked in real estate for over 25 years and have neglected a major stock portfolio. This served me well when I was flipping and renting houses, however I need a different plan now

I've stuck with the popularly ‘’Laura Grace Abels” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up

You can absolutely still break in! This is actually when I broke in. I applied at a lot of places before getting a job. I really did take the hard route of just applying on linkedin to countless jobs but I recommend selectleaders as a job board. Also join the local ULI group or similar groups. Also consider moving to a larger city. Google the largest developers, property management companies, owners, look at non profit companies etc. Once you get your first job it is much much easier to get the second and make really good money
