I have owned this amazing 1st generation Seiko Samurai SNM033 for a couple years and before I pass this along to one of my local watch friends, I wanted to share this amazing piece with you.
In my opinion, after owning this and current generation Samurai, I wanted to show you the amazing level of detail in the 1st generation Samurai and make the case on how superior it is vs the current generation. If you can find one of these in good condition, and you love the case and styling, I say go for it! But before you do, watch this video!

I bought this one and an SBDX001 MM300 off a friend. He shifted onto Swiss autos. Both mint.

I’m typically not a big Seiko fan, but this Samurai is one cool watch!!! Thanks for a very informative video on one is Seiko’s classic dive watches. You’re right, Seiko doesn’t make ‘em like they used too!!! Your friend is a lucky guy!!

I had a Save the Ocean current gen. The featured gen in this video is a much more livable size. Classic and I think will go up in value in the future.

Lucky Bob. Way better case on the original and the size is correct. I always feel my current gen one is too big even though I have a 7.25 inch wrist. I suppose you could always swap over a 4r35 if the need arises.

Yes, he has been loving the Samurai for awhile, and I was so happy that a friend has it now. I am telling you, that case size is awesome!
