In today's extremely long video we take a look at the siege meta across 3 different servers (Global, Asia, Europe) and see what some of the top G3 guilds are using and why...
my guild does a limbo between c2 and g1 , wiping everything in c2 and sometimes c3, having a hard time in g1 , though we win, but that depends if we are getting other f2p guilds like we are or the heavy whale guilds. The whales wipe you out in the first 4 hours, and you can just try to fight back, but never have a chance to push them far enough, even if you push hard at first, 2 hours later and all your bases are turning red or yellow ...:(. I guess one of the big issues is the vio rune sets, that are outrageously proccing too much, seeing a Monster getting 6turns and wiping your team, even though you were on the edge of winning.... thats not fun, and I get the impression, that the more money was involved the higher goes the favor to those teams.
Yoo bagel thanks for giving us siege mains a shout out! Despite siege being a place with not a lot of variety, it still allows us non-whales to flourish if we try hard enough. Tourneys a really exciting event for a lot of us, as we really get to show how we do despite some of us hating rta (like me). Really excited for the next few rounds! GO SWAG :D
Hey I started this game because I saw the 7 year event, watched some videos and pulled Lushen, Skogul, sabrina, lumirecia, and Mellia (along with various good nat 3's). Just wanted to say i love your videos and they've been helping me as a beginner! :)
It would help the game if c2us would prevent the same teamcombinations on one tower. Lke that most Monster can only be one or two times on the tower and only if they are not the same team. I dont have the time nor are I in the mood to build the same things multiple times, that is utterly stupid tedious madness, especially when people whale into this shit
Remember when Com2us made public announcements and apologized profusely when the whales complained about kaki? Imagine what happens when they tell the whales that they built 15 skoguls for no reason. The whales are why this game still exists, so they will be who is catered to.
1. Just put 2 or more elements 2. Striper 3. Put armor break that can land on any unit like carcano or aoe so no unit that will be out of your reach. Or 1. ,3. + any luck/non luck unit that make unit survive.
be nice if they would just limit the use of a specific monster in siege to X, and force guilds to have a multitude of Ds....make it a lot more fun for sure.
Com2us could do something about siege since they are putting seasonal rewards there.. Like maybe rotate leader skills weekly only in siege? because of leader skills some units are spammed. So if we rotate skills like giving carcano att leader skill in some rotation?
hey kinki in siege should be easier to deal with since you can plan ahead how to kill him (unlike rta where you don't know yet if he is in your opponent draft) , it's bombable , you could do kaki or any other onimusha really :D (i'm thinking suiki to bring a sin with him and avoid a random carcano oneshot :D)
So you have been talking a lot about how we need to build defenses with all different elements (except some ld defenses), but then way does Savannah, Clara, and Carcano work? (or Khmun, Tesaroin, other fire units).
Trust me the Martina shaina defense is sacred I looked up runes for them and you can’t find them no matter how hard you search. But when it comes to advice everyone comes out the wood works to say they have to be “tanky and have speed” but no one exposes the actual set they have on the twins. It’s funny cause everyone higher up siege is so secretive/stingy in terms of runes/turn orders which I understand it’s supposed to be competitive but when you want to get into the game and actually learn so you can know right from wrong it’s frustrating cause the good players tend to be VERY vague when explaining.

I dont even care for this, just tipped wild and got 4/8 dont know any of those high level guilds, since I dont care for the whales, it angers me, that I cant do siege during those tournaments and miss out crystals and guild points because of this bullshit. And of course my prediction for the semi finals and finals wil be for those guilds who are joining on later, cant miss with those to much ... the rewards ar more or lesse meeh
I think the Tesarion Odin Bastet is kinda okay. Because Triana Helps in stopping Odin from taking out something while wasting the knowledge. But Tesa might Oblivion Triana at some point. Also, Bastet and Odin awakens with Resistance. They are the ones who benefit from those Res innate runes. Plus Tesarion Res leader. However, we all know Res Acc are fake stats so, take all these with a grain of salt.
10min in: So i need 10 carcanos got it. Or LD4s and 5s... I haven't seen LD lightning since HoHs in 2020 I mean i can make like 3 of these teams at least. If I had 7 more Carcanos I could maybe make several more
I think asia server is stronger and hell defense, i dont know why the are a lot of put siege defense in tournament like g1 in asia or maybe c3, if any tournament siege for all server, i think the stroger guild asia server like wik wik and goat maybe they will get super easy win or maybe they get 20k -2/3k siege point for wining asia server every match
Unfortunately, Ken AI is garbage and does whatever he wants :D Also you should check your Jeogun's AI, his scroll skill doesn't care about element advantage, he will just put water monster in his scroll when he feels like (no def break on water monster, wind monster on the field)
TL:DR? Bagel spends 2 hrs talking about how he keeps saying "i know i'm saying the same thing over and over again" referring to seeing the same guild siege defenses over and over again. It's worth it, though.
so I'm noticing a trend. A lot of 4* units are fantastic. That's a good thing! Right? gives opportunities for players that dont have a shit ton of nat 5s. Until you realize that COM2US DOESNT GIVE US THE MEANS TO SKILL THEM UP! after events and toa hell we will get up to 8 devilmon a month. Do they actually expect us to devilmon 4*? fuck no, they are way too limited. This may be an outlier, but I find it relevant. I still havent fully skilled up my khumun after 3 years of consistent play. Wait wait wait, here's the kicker... I fed him all 5 water anubis from the 2016 hall of heroes. Still not fully skilled. What does that say about this shit game? Even if they want to be greedy and not implement 4* devilmon, let us fuse at least one member of each family. It took me about 500 crystals of farming and double xp to make 3 akias the other day, so it's still a huge investment for players, it's not like it would be op. It's just making the game actually rewarding after hours of thankless grinding.
do you clear a stage of hoh then 25 almighty summoning pieces to double your hoh mons? I agree though that each 4* family should have a fuseable member.
Someday Com2us will learn why the "e-sport" will always fail; it's their responsibility to provide a fair competitive environment. The top 4 getting a pass, same broken meta defenses over and over, relying too much on RNG to create the illusion of "skill". These things are so incredibly toxic and that's why no one wants to play Lost Centuria.
This is why high level pvp in SW is lame af. Nothing but the same defenses. It was so annoying. It wasn't even nearly as bad back in the day (just guild wars, no siege yet) as it is now. I loved low G1 seige. I fought more random defenses. I put up more random defenses myself despite having plenty of options for meta defenses. It was more fun both ways. Nobody wants to fight the same shit over and over and over, especially at the mercy of SW rng.

As a European it was always hard for me to understand Global server. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However, now I finally understand it. Global is just so fucking free
