I'm not super great on piano, but I'm seriously considering a Juno DS and researching led me to your channel. It's pretty great. Do you have any recommendations for anything else in the price range of a Juno DS? I really like the synth functions, as well as a standard piano, which is why I lean more toward the Juno. Thanks!
Yeah, I haven't used its sounds for anything but live (and RU-vid) performances. In your opinion what is the best keyboard to find a lot of nice production sounds?
@@Exalter If you mean the R80's, wow, nice, and expensive for 2!. I have a pair of cheaper Presonus and am looking for, preferably, a new pair of studio monitors. Thanks!
@@Exalter Nice! Thanks for reply. I'm looking at the Behringer ULTRATONE K450FX amp, but still considering monitors. I'll have a look at those you mention. Thanks again!
What I do is record the audio into my computer. Then I sync the audio and camera with each other in some software so they line up. That way you get a great sounding video, but it takes a lot of work!
Many, if not all of these sounds are in the Zenology plugin. FYI in case you cant afford the synth but you can swing the $19.99 a month for roland cloud.
Hi Exalter, nice upload again! :) Can you make a video on how to use the Librarian DS software. This vid is not on the web. Software is available on the Juno DS Download. You can manage your own patches and it seems that you can make you own mix while use the different axial download. Maybe you can have a look at it. I sure hope so :) By the way, the keys on the DS88 are wicked!!!
So, funny story... I actually downloaded the Librarian software around a month ago after some other comments requesting that I make a video on it. Sadly, when I downloaded it I couldn't get it to connect to my Juno DS. At the time I was in school and didn't have the time to troubleshoot the issue. When I am Christmas break I will try again, and if it works I will definitely make a video on it!
@@Exalter Oh wow thank you Exalter that's really great :) I wanted to suggest that Christmas would be a nice time to figure this out. I will also try to make a startup; I am lacking a working Windows machine to do the job right now. I am doing my internet activities with my phone and a raspberry Pi on my TV lol.
I purchase my Juno DS used and have been informed by another viewer that the meditate piano is an expansion sound. I have not installed any expansion sounds but it looks like the previous owner did! So unless you have an expansion (I don't know which one) you can't access meditate piano. I am really sorry about this.
All you need is a USB cable to run to your computer! Here is one on Amazon: www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-Printer-Cable-Male/dp/B00NH13DV2/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=usb+cable&qid=1619291882&sr=8-4
It looks like the previous owner of my Juno DS installed a bonus sound bank, and Majestic is inside it. I didn't know this till (long) after I published this video so I am really sorry.
@@Exalter okay awesome thankyou i’ll see. my piano teacher recommended this synth for a keyboard and i am overjoyed i’ve had it since wednesday. i asked him yesterday if he had majestic and he said yes but it was weird i didn’t.
@@Exalter How do the weighted keys compare to nonweighted? I used to have the 61 and want this keyboard back but I don't know if I am getting the 76 or 88. I am used to nonweighted however I want to play classical types of music with this. Never owned a board with weighted keys. Your insight would be greatly appreciated. Great playing btw!
