I think paik doesnt need a med pen... i run smoke gernades and the smoke launcher and use it while in the cover of it. I believe you should reconsider her spot on the list if you use smokes especially on breakthrough
I got him to tier 1 pretty fast...and love the "Kill Machine" title. Personally I don't like any of the clones(specialists) but he's more than playable.
I don't know if he needs a handgun especially since it would need a lot of balancing work but I'm not against it. It would be really easy to be over-powered or basically useless. I'm not opposed to being able to throw grenades though while having the shield out as well. I think the main thing for me is that the hit box needs to just be consistent and the speed of bringing it out needs to be faster. I tried using it as quick cover when getting shot at but even though I would have pressed the button, I'd still die because I would be in the process of pulling it out. Those are the main things that make me not want to play him because otherwise I laugh the most playing Dozer.
Angel is still the best specialist even after the nerf. Revives, ammo, and the ability to resupply gadgets whenever you want for yourself and teammates is too damn good. Unfortunately the vast majority of Angel players don't drop the box or don't know how too.
Angel is not needed anymore honestly. Ammo is not really needed you can just switch mags. At this point the medic is better. I think number 1 is ☘️ Irish. He’s needed so bad in the new map. Withought him on your team you are taking a L in 6 min I play break so that’s why. I use Irish and I have saved my team so many times because of the grenades. Mackay is top 3 with Irish and Sundance. I’m saying only for the new map. If we talking about for all maps than it’s between Medic, Mackay or Paik.

@@johncruzz5326 Yeah I've seen more Irish players lately. Had a squad mate running him and his ADS works great when ur capping flags to avoid the absolutely ridiculous amount of Sundance name spam at the moment.
I would argue with the bvsm this strong at the moment, Falk + ammo crate + bvsm is the meta. For the bvsm you pretty much need the 20 round high power rounds to get the maximum efficiency and they run out so quick. This gun combined with unlimited ammo and healing is such a mean combination.
Falck is hands down number one. I can easy take down a whole Squad with her because of that quick heal. She can heal herself on the go so if u running away just shoot the ground and run over it Instant heal. She can Revive the whole team with full heath and it helps with not losing Tickets in Game modes. Has the quickest revive. U can rank up the Quickest with her too just equip the Ammo bag and the Proxy ball.
Casper Fix: give Casper drone a passive mode where it flies a few metres above you and passively spots enemies in line of sight. Would have to have a very short spot time and the drone would have to be high enough to give away the player position.
Casper is a top 3 specialist, maybe even the strongest specialist in the game, because you can stick C4 to the drone and oneshot any vehicle including tanks. Against vehicles you don't even need to manually detonate the C4, the C4 gets triggered automatically when you ram a vehicle. It also lets you kill campers easily, and if the enemy doesn't see your drone you can easily wipe squads of players. I've had a 10-man multikill in breakthrough by sending the Amazon delivery drone into enemies grouped by a chokepoint.
irish ability for sentinel placement is a must have on the new map with your team when playing outbreak. if you don’t have irish in your group pushing forward, you and your team are scatter-naded to oblivion and punished mercilessly
Casper is WAY underrated here imo. I have noticed a clear difference in overall team performance when I sit back and actually use the drone to mark the enemy in hotly contested areas. Giving your team the ability to see where exactly the enemy is, can turn a losing match into a win more often than you think. Sure you can also do this with grenades, but your grenades will run out and you will likely not get re supplied often enough to make it a viable tactic, while my drone can sit there and 9/10 times not even get noticed. Also the ability for your drone to temp knock out enemy vehicles is a MASSIVE boon that you don't even mention.
Casper needs multiple drone types. Spotting drone, ammo/health drone, explosive drone. Remove C5 placement and bring the damage down a bit so it’s not a one drone tank kill.
Dozer is my favorite operator in regards to looks but I 100% agree that his shield is absolute trash and I cant count how many times i get shot through the thing. I would love to see Dozer have something a lot like what Black Beard has in Rainbow Six Siege. I think that would be awesome.
I think Irish is proving super valuable in exposure specifically. Me and my buddies have made so many good pushes because we have a couple Irish players, and a couple Falck and we just use the APS in a leap frog formation to push through some of those tunnels. Super helpful against Sundance lol
For falck I always ran ammo box with her. Essentially having unlimited smoke nades makes covering my advance to revive or another teammate getting a revive a lot easier
I agree with your #1 and #2 spot, but my personal #3 spot is Irish. Having the shields helps to defend objectives and I have managed to pull off some pretty fun pushes by placing it down and picking it up while advancing through choke points. Plus his passive armor ability helps to win some gunfights
Love playing as Paik. Especially on breakthrough but I’ve noticed lately on the new map I end up playing Sundance because she is ridiculously over powered when it comes to flying though the tunnel on breakthrough or into cliff side room
Would be nice if Dozer can get assist points for blocking shots from teammates who take out anyone shooting at you. Would be a nice reminder that you’re distracting the enemy, and would reward squad play where dozer blocks shots.
This. Being the guy with the shield and expected to be at the front of the battle he deserves having passives that keep him alive longer. I would even recommend having quicker health regen considering the map design in this game limits his effectiveness
Idk I disagree heavily with Casper. For breakthrough he is great, and even on conquest he is great for personal reconnaisance more so than the spotting. Casper is my go-to pick for aggressive pushing objectives as his gadgets give so much invaluable info that you otherwise can't get. He is ofcourse a very selfish character in that sense, as you don't really help your team outside of the occasional spots unless you heavily focus on the drone-usage part, but idk, I like playing him. Going for Tier 1 on him atm. Often fighting Boris players a lot and idk why he would be better than Casper in this regard, as the turret does not help anyone else either. The damage is neglible and you can just walk around it to avoid it (or magdump it if you run ammo crate). Boris is just a worse Casper.
This, Casper is slept on because you have to manually operate the drone and that doesn't fit a lot of people's playstyle. Yes, at a first glance Casper looks like a very underwhelming specialist like why would you choose this guy over Paik when she can get free info with a press of a button but it's when you dive deep into his kit, that's when you see his actual power. Casper's drone has probably saved my life more than any other gadget in the game due to the insane spotting you can get done with it. You can solo cap flags if you're good enough with the info that the drone provides. And for breakthrough utilizing the drone's EMP can save your team so many fights if done correctly. Now I'm obviously a bit biased since Casper is my main and he's the only specialist I have T1 but when you look further beyond the basics he can be an essential part to the team either as a lone wolf killing machine or a supportive recon.
My favorite specialist hast to go to angel, his ability to drop down packages allows him to place down cover and resupply all of his weapons and even change his loadout depending on the situation.
Its frustrating that Mackay is the best because I find it results in me largely playing the same way. I think they should consider making the default strafing speed faster for all the automatics except the LMGs. And maybe even introduce minor but stackable strafe speed buffs with certain attachments: the movement accuracy grip, CQC ammo, and shortened barrel. Where if you combine them all you get up to Mackay's level. Further, the flashlight should improve hipfire a tad, and the laser sight needs a straight up buff. Almost every other specialist's abilities can be made somewhat redundant with equipment or grenades. It seems dumb for that not to also be the case with Mackay and to a lesser extent Sundance. They ought to introduce a mobility gadget as well. Doesn't need to be as powerful as the grappling hook and wingsuit of course. Maybe an improved parachute of some kind and/or climbing gear.
I have been a huge advocate of giving every specialist Mackays strafe speed and just reworking the Nimble trait for Mackay specifically. It seems the easiest thing to do in my opinion. I doubt they’ll do an attachment overhaul again.
Angel is very breakthrough oriented on attacker, he can refill smokes for the team using his care package and that really comes in handy when you are trying to conceal a push, outside of this he’s pretty useless in conquest
Been here since beta with Dozer and now Tier 1 with Dozer and still going strong being the wall against anyone. I don't care if people say my specialist is trash, I love the guy for his tank status and being a bastion for helping teammates, that's my take on him for being a juggernaut and I will never switch.
Wow im just coming back and was trying to figure out why my boy Angel wasn’t putting on armor……. Stupid!!! Good run down. Lets me know what i been missing these last 7 or so months. Thanks for your time and work! Why couldn’t they just go back to bf4 type play, and have like 2-3 perk slots that you could add in the bs these specialist carry. Aka customizing!!! Lol but guess you could op things pretty fast
Gosh that is really sad. I cannot argue McCabe being powerful, but he is the only specialist that does nothing for anyone else. For that reason, only selfish pricks use him and it is a shame that it forces the game play to be more about being a specialist than a teammate.
Catalyst I think they removed Sundance EMP grenade because they were used so little, they said something about wanting to simplify and streamline her kit.
This list seems to favour more aggressive use specialists vs passive, which is okay (Mackay was my first T1 and I agree is unbeatable!). And you do mention that at one point, I think your reasonings are all solid. One thing I think all specialists have the potential to do, especially the passive ones, is support a team in certain moments. Using a dozer or two to break a stalemate line on Exposure breakthrough is not expected and creates a distraction/focus for enemies to give your teammates a chance to push. Rao and Lis can route enemy vehicles to allow open space crossings for teammates. I think specialists do a great job in continuing class roles that BF has always been known for and create a huge potential for teamwork. Great video, I learned some new things about some of my lesser played specialists! Also (and I'll likely catch some hate for this), Sundance is NB, so it would make sense to refer to Sundance as they/them/their vs she/her. Looking forward to more videos!
Glad this game is being fixed and semi revived. I hate the business model of "launch now fix in half a year" but I'm just glad they stood with the game
When they nerfed Caspar's drone to go from a serious tank killer to a kids toy, I stopped playing as Caspar. Before they nerfed the range of the drone, you could reach and ram any heavy vehicle around an object, and that was for me the easiest way to get rid of them. But now you have to be so close and when the drone is easier to detect, the vehicle just sees it and outrun the drone out of its range.
As a dozer main, I disagree with the ranking… I like to play aggressive and so I find myself in those advantage situations where his shield is helpful. he breaks the pace of the game for other players, get free peeks, great for pushing with your team, etc. So much more to say I can’t put all of it in this comment. Just gotta say that dozer has gotten me top 5 on score boards consistently
The number one spot i am okey with but according to your logic wingsuit chick should be first or at least second bc what you said about Dozer that he is last bc of the big maps so she with the wingsuit that can travel through the map faster than anyone should be up there according to your logic bc what do you do in the game? Moving through large areas and taking flags and she can so that faster than anyone so she is pretty much made for this game style so number 4 spot for her is way to low i think.
100% agree with the list and especially Lis, she's really only a problem with so many people using her ATM, she's pretty underwhelming in small numbers but fun nonetheless when you get those final hits as vehicles retreat 👌
Fixing Lis is as simple as giving her the ability to have an all in 1 launcher can lock on free fire and tv rocket. Btw with my 0 min of playtime as rao I can defintly say he sucks his hacks don’t do anything. But yeah fixing lis is just give her an all in one launcher maybe add it to have 3 rockets up the recover time by alot. And then make it so soflam on her would be better and they could disable c4 if they do this that’s why I’m thinking that master cheif is the best specialist in cod rainbow six valorant field
The best specialists is obvious. It's Irish for the same reason it used to be Angel. He has more health then everyone because of armour. He's the only specialists that doesn't need to choose armour because he gets it from ammo packs. Every other specialist should choose armour over the other gaget's. More health = wins gun fight against the person who doesn't have armour
Yeah, every time somebody complains about Sundance's scatter grenade it really ticks me off. The only people who tend to complain are those who die by it, the same people who complain about everything they die by. No offense, but it's mostly the youtubers who complain. You have Irish for the specific reason to counter Sundance. The only time I can ever get kills with the scatter grenade is when there is no Irish around or with a well placed lucky throw. Dozer however could become OP simply by allowing him to use a pistol while having his shield out. But having the ability to shoot his arm off could mitigate this. I miss the Bolts the way they were before getting nerfed, it was fun taking them out by shooting the driver. It's extremely frustrating now to get kills with the 30mm cannon because it's been nerfed so much that you're better off with the minigun turret. I just don't even use it anymore and Lis would have been a perfect counter for the Bolts. I tend to see more Humvees now using the 30mm or the 50mm instead of the Bolt.
I think falck is overrated. Medi pen can do the same unless you play falik to be a team player. It might take a second longer but it puts you to full health a lot quicker. Loads of people run angle and ammo box so your not going to run out. (Try paik, medi pen and smokes with an smg. You won’t regret)
I play Angel because I find myself running out of ammo and gadgets very often in this game. The flying around bullshit from sundance and other characters is nothing but annoying af
Lol nice try, you are, right your opinion. Everyone does not have the same game skills or playing style. Like saying one weapon is the best, depends on the player.
They aren't specialist...they are clones. They suck. we told them we didn't like or want them...yet here we are...talking about clones. On the new map you see 15 Sundance clones throwing grenades down the halls the whole battle.
@@Jerryjohnny12 technically their faces were covered and had no character identification + the old faction had their own uniform design so we could tell who was who like Russian soldier or US soldier
