The Best Storyline in AdventureQuest Worlds (Darkon Saga Analysis) 

Legit, when I did this storyline, I was like "wow, this is better than almost everything else, if not everything". Single-handedly proves there's hope for AQW. Bless the new lead writer.

To me, this storyline marks the revitalization of the game as I saw several dozen of my old friends from our server starting to play the game again. I haven't touched AQW in 10 years and even I started playing it yesterday. We're so back baby

I am subscribing in hopes that I get to watch more videos outlining ALL of the AQW stories. I haven't been able to find a place that goes over each story in detail, and to be able to have it described by someone else really helps to understand all of the lore. Great job, keep it up. I look forward to more videos of this type.

THANK YOU!! i'm ngl, i skipped like, 99.99% of the game's tory and now i'm regretting it, especially for Darkon's sag, the drip was soo good and the art was so different from the regular sagas . I was hoping there was a lore story for this but couldn't find anything about it on YTj, so thank you for finally making this!

Wow, great analysis to supplement what I thought I already knew about the saga! My favourite bit is realising that each of The Scale represents social groups previously, or still discriminated against by society and being enticed to remake a world without discrimination by force. 23:51 I bet my 15 year-old account that it was Komm Susser Tod that he listened to. What we know of Darkon's thoughts aligns perfectly with its lyrics as well as the instruments and feel of The World's music score.

The Darkon sotryline is probably the only one that transcends the AQW game and is an actually good piece of literature.

Nice! I honestly have been really loving the story for a lot of the recent releases, especially Darkon's stuff. Always love Lovecraftian influences.

This turned out GREAT! Im so happy to see you finnaly finished the vid! I've beent rying to get some freinds into AQW and told them how great the darkson story is. But i could never properly explain. So big thanks for this! I can't wiat for what's next! Hopefully maybe you'll touch on hte current storyline that picks up on the Astavia plotline and the remaining characters .

I'm not gonna lie,i never was that into darkons eldritch and almost indescribable AC tagged items but i gotta admit. This storyline was possibly one of AQW best in its year and probably for the rest of the games lifetime

And now...SMH BRING THE ARCANA INVOKER LORE INTO THIS. Arcana Invoker changed the whole story's eldritch horror to a cosmic tragedy of many sides for me: Darkon & Fa who lost their lover Suki who lost everything including herself for love Ti, Re and La who were divided between those they loved (Darkon, The Scale, and Us) Song, Mi and Fa who lost their loved ones, their family, and are now both wounded and cherished by the Dragon & Arcana who caused it. Drago who cant feel love for anything but himself The Dragon who's too late to find and safe love. Now not the hero, not the man, but always only called "they" unable to escape their divine duty, which puts them at odds with those they love. The Star who's alien to love and being loved, who's fondness is mutating but genuine. Now drowning in loss a primordial can feel, abandoning any future connection it may gain with mortals to ensure this newer happens again, in memory of their dear one. Only to end their desolation through bonding with that which shattered them to begin with. Two true outsiders ensuring that neither Dragon nor Star are ever truly alone.

Yess. This story line was top notch. It's so well made, the cutscenes, the theme-heck, even the rewards!

Such a good story to come back to. Anybody watching this who is thinking of coming back. This is worth checking out.

Man I love those videos of yours! Think your ever gonna do a summary like this for dragon fable? The game is a bit boring and tideous, but the story is amazing! The first arc is a classic but I read a bit of the current arc and it's so interesting but complex, someone has to come with a video for that

One thing to mention; Darkon found sample of the Shadowscythe Virus (same stuff Sepulchure used to create En and Tropy), which was at least parteal reason to creatures mutations.

although I hated watching through all those cutscenes and quest line being nothing more but just part of what this “adventure quest” game has to offer, I couldn’t help but enjoy this analysis video. I’ve always admired darkon’s artwork and design, however today I regret missing out on the actual lore of his saga. thank you for making this

when I start this storyline last year. It amazed me alot. specially the artstyle and almost make me cry. And now I just did the storyline again with my new character and still soo good to experience. Darkon Saga the best!. bytheway... I got the Darkon class Arcana and dyemnn soo good class.

You need to do one for QoM/Malgor storyline! Not gonna lie though maybe summarise the filler leading up to it. The saga changed writers at the start for the better.
