Unfortunately, it was the same for me aswell, except in my case the dude told me he'd invest it in some bank or something, i should be getting the profits soon enough; he also included a free microwave to the mix aswell, i mean, who'd say 'no' to that?
Great car. Looking at F12, 599, 575 each generation is worth about 10-20k more at a similar age. Think the floor-price for the 812 is another 100 - 120k lower in about 8 years time. That’s the beauty of the V12s - by the time it is 10 years old it’s no longer just an aspiration. 😊. And Astons fall even faster 😀
Floor price will probably be £80K for the lowest and maybe £120K for the best. Most V12 Ferrari are very similar I'm value to V12 Astons from what I've seen. Vanquish to 575, DBS to 599 etc.
If the series was pretty cool, this is no doubt the cherry on top. This example is real gem, the price is a real discount tag for the last of singing V12. Nice one for bringing the best of NA, a last hurrah of the Superfast Horse 👍
Yep couldn’t agree more, had to remind jonty of this. V12 Ferraris are known for their depreciation. Still as a car and driving experience, it doesn’t get much better does it? Congrats on the GTS
@@scd If you like the SF, the GTS is so much more than a SF with an open roof, its a whole other level. I found the SF was a bit hyperactive which can get wearing, with the GTS it’s like everything has just had the sharp edges rounded, makes it so much more enjoyable all of the time......and the noise!!!
@@robertmorgan8581 The 812 hyperactive? It’s damn civilized compared to my 720 and GT3. Hell, I think the 812 in sport mode + bumpy road button is pretty much as comfortable as the Bentley GT.
Absolutely, now is the time because in the future the price will grow up. But this is not a car, It is a dream. But if i have the money is a very good option.
I just bought every single real honda CF factory options available for my TYPE R LE and it was only $4,300 installed. I believe that the CF bridge for the 812 is more than that LOL
The golden rule when specifying a Ferrari is knowing when to stop and if you don’t stop, it can also end up looking a mess. It’s too easy to be like a kid in a candy store with the salesman rubbing his hands as the price increases. Most Ferrari options are cosmetic in nature and what you think looks great may not to the next buyer. I have an 812 GTS coming and have not specified any exterior carbon at all. My extravagance is a 3 layer paint finish which adds £18000/$25000 but overall my options add less than 20% to the cost of the car. I hope the GTS will depreciate slower than the SF but there’s no doubt it’s a major element of the ownership cost. That said, I’m there for the long term. I have 3 Ferraris already and the oldest is 25 years old and its worth pretty much what I paid for it, aside from inflation. It also brings a smile to my face every time I drive it - it’s a 95 F355 Berlinetta.
I have noticed that in the UK the prices of supercars fall more than in Sweden. If we then take a Ferrari 812 Superfast in Sweden, it loses around 20 - 30,000 pounds just from the time it was new. Then it is 3 years old and not many miles on the meter.
It's a brilliant little video this, with great attitude, very funny this 3:33, and a celebration of the car. However 8:08 perhaps you should have mentioned that Sergio Marchionne no longer is with us and, since 2018, no longer the boss at Ferrari, rather than using the present tense.
Fabulous music of an engine! And.....tell me what the music is at the end, please, as Soundhound cannot identify it. Superb guitar riff. I need to know....
Is there even a point for adding carbon fibre on a black car? It looks like black unless you concentrate from a close distance from it. But yeah amazing car. Just I personally prefer the look of a mid-engine V8 than this front engine V12 just because it looks "kinda normal".
Yes, but now they are going to make EV cars more and more. So even regular ones will become unique because there isn't going to be internal combustion V12 engine in near future.
You said in the video that you wanted one…..well I do as well, until I thought that oil changes are probably 500 bucks and every time the check engine light comes on it’s probably 2 grand just for them to tell you what’s wrong before you fix it. Ugggg…..but they are so beautiful……yep, I still want one.
Bought one of these new in 2019 that I spec’d. It makes me sick to think how much it depreciated but they will eventually move back up. Just look at the 458’s. Do you find the steering too light?
Agree they will come back round, steering is quite light, a little overly assisted but the noise, oh the noise! Can imagine specing you own Ferrari is quite the moment!
Instead of desperately looking for bargains, I prefer the new and real deal and use my time and brain power for generating more wealth within my means.
812 VS will be €500k base, so I don’t think it will affect the values of these too much. Especially as it’s (meant to be) number limited, not time limited like the Pistas
Its acctually the wost time. Typical journalist mistake who have actually no clue.... All it needs is to find someone (like me) with good Ferrari relationship to learn that they will relese in less than a month the new track-focused (limited edition) version (like the GTO and TDF). As it always did for the previous models, the price for the regular 812 will rapidly drop at least an other 10-20%.
there is never a good time to buy a ferrari cause they simply suck go buy another supercar that is worth its money and dont bust your balls from the company from every little bullshit they come up with with together with their law department
