We check out Dan's 2002 Trans Am SLP Firehawk with a Procharger bolted to the LS1. It puts down 460hp at the wheels and sounds glorius doing it. It's a beautiful 1 owner car tastefully modified and a blast to drive!
the best T/A ever made cannot be a convertible, as that honor most certainly goes to one of the [Carl] Blackbirds with t-tops and the 600+ HP package, but this one is still awfully nice
Awesome Vert. Super rare too. I had a Red '02 Vert M6 also. 1 of 16. Even shipped it to Hawaii When I was stationed there. Only one on the island. I regret selling it.
Thanks. It's his pride and joy. He's cool with me documenting any work he does on it is if you haven't already this is a small channel. Every subscription means the world to us. Cheers
Good eye. He mentioned that after we filmed. He swapped those wheels back on that morning in a hurry to meet me to shoot. The American racing wheels usually on the car lost a weight so he swapped them.
does your dad know about the 30th Annual Firehawk/CompTa Rally held at Summit Motor Sportspark in Norwalk, OH July 19-21 2024 in conjunction with the AMES Pontiac Nationals car show!?
That's a bit of a trek for us. We're in Atlantic Canada and the week before is our big hometown event with the Atlantic Nationals hosting thousands of classics and customs from accross North America
Appreciate it! As for future Ford to be featured. I know someone with the Carbon Fibre bodied 65 fastback "GT427" that was a great 8 finalist for the riddler this year. When I get better at editing and filming, I'll be sure to feature that monster.
I was commenting on how impressive 325hp was at the time because of what the other typical muscle cars were making as a frame of reference. This car would be more comparable to the SVT cobra of the same year (320hp). The Cobra R was an awesome beast in a class above that, but also was only made in small numbers for one model year in that generation (300 only in 2000). Not the sort of thing you typically bring up to give viewers a relatable frame of reference when discussing horsepower numbers.
