Alexis Jimenez yes I see I . I’m selling my 05 bmw 530i my car is giving me a headache so I’m figuring out my next car would be! So I’m thinking buying either 09 tl or Nissan Maxima 09!
@@rcwintersoldier5642 BMW's are a problem same with Nissan's. Honda's and Toyota are the best reliable cars and they'll last you a lifetime if u stay on top of the maintenance
My first car I just got is a 2014 acura tl. 69k on the dash for 13 grand. MCLOVING IT. Fast as hell to. I could of sworn I can tare anyone up on the road until i challenged a m5 LOL
Thanks for watching and congratulations on your first car! The 2014 TL is an excellent vehicle and I guarantee you will continue to enjoy it for many many years to come. Great choice!
@@CarVisionLA i am. I thought my dealer was kind of ripping me but I could not have made a wiser decision especially for a used car. Not only is it semi luxury, but its full packaged and its v6. Hard to find that with 13 grand.
You sound like me hahaha! I have 2011 TL. I raced a RT and he couldn't catch up with me once we got past 120mph.. Unfortunately, we can't get with a M5. They top out around 190, and it had close to 600HP.. but we can still put up a good Run for a min. 👍🏿😎
OMG! Watching your video has me so excited! I'm getting a 2009 TL in a few days. I had already heard & read great things about them, but your video put the icing on the cake! I found one for 5K with 89k miles. I was skeptical at 1st because like you, I'm not crazy about the exterior design. I'm now more confident that I made a great choice
melany kennedy Im looking to buy the same car and tht really is a great price and I just want to compare prices with the one I found but if you don’t mind me asking what city you bought this car from?
@@438Jaydo I'm also looking at two myself but I'm a little skeptical because they have high mileage one has 134000 with a price of 8756 and the other has 156000 with price 8165....both are absolutely gorgeous but I just dont know if I should buy
I bought a 2011 tl at 107,000 miles the car has exceeded my expectations. It handles corners so well because of the double wishbone suspension and 245/50/r17 tires.
Bought my 2009 Acura tl base model for 3800 with 215000 miles. All highway miles and bought it from the 1st owner. Literally no problems with it. Had an emissions light come on for a loose gas cap but that it. Just do a timing belt, water pump and tensioners change and your good.
I paid 5800 for a '10 TL 3.5L with 123k miles a year ago and had not one engine light yet. Just did tran fluid change, oil changes, and change the brakes. Best money spent.
The 2012 doesn't have the large beak and the Advanced package is very nice. These cars haul a$$ and like you say near triple digit is nothing for it for hours on end. My wife's car, I have a 2010 MDX Advance with 284K miles and still love it. Honda/Acura leads in product reliability of all engine manufacturers including Toyota. Hey there good video done. Do you knwo what would be the max kms these 2009 TL would run if it has been recently changed timming belt. Am planning to buy one TL 2009 MODEL 375k done with recently timming belt changed.for 2000 cads. Should I bargain down and what all I need to get it checked before getting it and what would be the best price to get that.
There’s a 2009 Acura TL V6 at the CarMax for $15k after fees. 65k miles. Is that a good deal? Running a 2002 Honda Civic LX now with only 92k miles but I need something larger/more powerful.
I have a 2010 Acura TL Tech package, it’s awesome, the V6, gas mileage, everything. I’m not gonna lie it’s super powerful. I got a good deal on mine cause of my dad working at a dealership but you’ll bet your ass I’d buy it again if you asked me too lol
You can’t find one with 36k miles for $6-7k. This one would probably cost about $10-12k. You could find one with 80-100k miles for that price. And even an example with that many miles would last a while due to Acura’s reliability.
Does this have a back up camera? And another question I am stuck between this car and another car the car that I saw is a 2009 Acura dark gray it is $10,000 but it has over 100,000 miles on it do you think that that car can still last me a good for five years? Or do you think that I should go with the white Hyundai Senada year 2017 with 24000 miles $17980. I do door dash and bottle service at clubs where I sometimes have to drive as far as 30mins to an hour away 2- 4 days a week
Important things to keep in mind depending the mileage, Common problem for these TLs are burning oil. Mine 2009 TL has 162k and is currently burning about 1/2 to 1 quart of oil every 250-400 miles. Also timing belt and water pump just to be safe, it can be a pretty expensive job if u dont do it yourself
First of all I'm not going to "smash that like button". Said way to may times and people hate to hear it. They know to "like" a video if they want to. The negative comments about this 2009 TL were shocking to me. I have driven in some of the most expensive and luxurious cars in the work and I have nothing negative to say about this TL. Amazing car. Lives forever. It's not "chunky" and to big as stated in the video. It's a luxury sedan, that's what is built to be, a larger, aggressive car......and yes it is aggressive and has all the HP you would ever need unless you are riding in a friends lambo on the weekend like Mr CarVision. Pet peve ....is folks ragging on very nice, affordable cars...at the top of this competitive market and then some youtuber gets to ride in an exotic vehicle and then poops on the rest of the normal to luxury high class cars that most people can afford.....no dignity or respect for that. Thanks for your positive points though!
Thanks for your comment. I really enjoyed this car and would recommend it to anyone in the used car market. I seem to recall only saying that I wasn’t too fond of the styling. Other than that, I thought it was a great value. While I have driven many exotic cars, I never bashed on the affordable car segment. In fact, the two cars I currently own are a 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia and a 2017 VW GTI, neither of which are high-dollar supercars. My segment of choice is the mid-tier luxury sports sedan because you can get a great balance of features, performance, and styling for a decently affordable price.
i’m currently looking for one of these cars and they all have a lot of miles on them but does a car like run for a long time with many miles like 100,000 plus ?
Yes! They are very reliable cars. It’ll last well over 100k, usually they last about 200-250k. I’ve even seen them go past 300,000 miles if maintained properly. 100,000 is nothing for these cars!
The reason this specific car is around 12k is due to the low mileage and condition. However, most of them you’ll be able to find are in the 6-7k range because they have higher mileage.
Hey there am planning to get one TL 2009 which has run 375k for 2000 cads is it worth it. It's my first car and my main motive is for basic commute and less costly. Or is t worth 150p to 2000 cads comparing the kms which it has run
The trunk it's so big you can put 2 dead bodies . 😂😂😂. The cts 2004 felt the same way . You can do up to 90 and won't even feel it . Not like my Honda Accord 2000 V6 . Starters to chake like a mother fucker after 80 😂😂😂
