These are the best veggie burgers ever, it feels weird to say that about your own cooking but these are incredible! Most store-bought vegetable patties I tried are waaaay too salty and have lots of ingredients I wouldn’t use. These patties are really weighty, satisfying, and super tasty. You just can’t go wrong with these! And the smoked chipotle sauce really ties everything together: it's smokey, slightly spicy, and a perfect addition for your burger.
PATTIES:
1 tin of black beans
1 tin of chickpeas
1 large red bell pepper
½ of yellow onion
1 cup of mushrooms
1 large cooked sweet potato
1 cup of oat flour
1 ½ cups of cooked sushi rice (1 cup of uncooked rice makes about that much)
1 tbsp of sun dried pepper paste
¼ cup of tamari
1 cup of chopped parsley
2 tsp of cumin
2 tsp of paprika
2 tsp of onion powder
2 tsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of dried oregano
½ tsp of cayenne pepper
Salt + pepper
Brown rice flour for dusting
CHIPOTLE SAUCE:
½ cup avocado mayo
½ cup almond/coconut sour cream
2 tbsp chipotle paste
Splash of lemon juice
Salt + pepper
