@baseballreg123 Look up Ball Watch Company. They're all about train conductor watches. I wouldn't buy anything from them though: even though the company is headquartered in Switzerland on paper, it's owned by the Chinese.

I have not seen Baume & Mercier watches reviewed very often, so I was glad to see you include the Baumatic in this video. B&M was probably the first luxury/near luxury watch I noticed back in college, and I would anxiously go over the ads for them when I'd encounter them in magazines. To me they exuded classic good looks, the watch to aspire too for dress wear (business or personal). The Baumatic in the midnight blue takes me back to that feeling of awe I felt for a very beautiful watch.

Under 3000 dollars I say Longines almost exclusively. Spirit Zulu, spirit titanium, avigation big-eye, legend diver bronze, longines master chronograph and you can often get the ceramic hydrconquest for below 3k. But I could absolutely also recommend an oris cal 400 if you can get them below 3k, a Sinn or a doxa sub 300.

Hey Teddy, again a great video. So we can hear you talking about NOMOS watches in a lot of video's you've made over the years. A great brand with a lot of value and character to enjoy. But I've been searching on your channel fot a video about the NOMOS TETRA. And to my surprise and disappointment I could not find one about this beautiful timepiece. Not even the limited edition Tetra Neomatic gets talked about. And that's a real shame.

LONGINES all the way. Stunning at this price point. All of them. I own a 60s era LONGINES manual tank and I love it. Even though it really cannot be serviced reasonably. As in if a part is in need of replacement, the part will need to be fabricated and thus will probably cost more than the watch.

In the aviation GMT category, I love my Sinn 857 UTC VFR Tegimented on a bracelet, which comes in about $100 below your $3000 price point. While not a "true" GMT, the other benefits are formidable (e.g., almost impossible to scratch, water resistant to 200m, low pressure resistant, etc.). I think it's definitely worth a look!

Great point about some Grand Seikos being in that price range! With the new models available too! I personally would still rather be without any watch if need be and save up for a mechanical one than buy a quartz, even though Grand Seiko quartz watches are excellent and beautiful (no doubt about that, congrats on your absolutely beautiful watch!). Even more specifically I'd not only save up at minimum for a Spring Drive but a GMT model one. The price difference is so small I'd absolutely save up.
