I’ve been wearing them this week in the Seattle snow and they did GREAT! I never thought I’d be able to literally kick snow and make snow angels in Jordans. So happy with this pair.
Gore-tex is a branded technology that essentially is a water proof yet breathable interior bootie which is why you see that fabric wrapping below the insole and on the tongue. It doesn’t have anything to do with the exterior of the shoe which is likely just coated with dwr spray.
Can’t say enough about these, waterproof, warm, materials are very nice and the colorway works…Love how they shaped the tongue to deflect water on top… Grabbed the Winterized 14’s also, it’s nice to have 2 killer shoes meant for weather, instead of sacrificing a pair or 2 for bad weather here in the Northeast
Also the best thing about them is that they DON’T CREASE AT ALL because it’s not the same synthetic plastic leather front. You can casual wear them for month perhaps years and they’ll still have the same shape as fresh Jordans.
I’m kind of a sucker for Jordan 1s like this. Whether it’s the Flyknits or the CMFTs, it’s just super nice having variants that maintain the OG look while also being much more comfortable or durable. OG 1s are clean, but I never really enjoyed their comfort, hence why I sold half my Jordan 1 collection
I would definitely buy 1 because 80% of the year in the Philippines we have rain by way of typhoon or just by what they call habagat. So if I'm going to work and its raining I will wear this. Can't wait its both stylish and functional!
Couldn’t find the purple-grey ‘Sail” version but this one actually looks surprisingly good in person. I saw the SE Black Diamond mids as well and it actually has a pearl glossy effect on parts of the leather that looks decent on hand but the black toe guards would’ve looked better in white imo. This Jordan feels good too but after looking at multiple pairs I noticed that the leather front toe guard is different height and the finishing on the leather is quite different on each foot. I ended up asking the assistant to bring me multiple pairs as I matched each shoe also being well aware that the toe box may be slightly different.
@@willianroomer3102 I live in ny so it’s not hot here, but I have yet to wear them in the summer. I would say that they are definitely warmer than regular jordan 1 but not as warm as “winterized” sneakers. The material isn’t any extra thick, but they don’t breath well being that they are waterproof and that’s what makes them warm.

Proper winter everyday beater, think ive missed the boat in the uk not even sure if they released or not over here, the sail ones go live tomorrow but the green ones look better and wont stain as bad.
Worth noting that the “waterproofness”of these shoes (any shoe for that matter) reaches only as high as the white gore tex fabric on the inside of the shoe and not the maximum collar height. These are a bit more obvious since the height of the gore-tex fabric stops pretty much where the tongue separates from the shoe. Some hightop gore tex shoes with 1 bootie upper makes it seem like the shoe is waterproof all the way to the collar, but if you look inside them, the gore tex fabric doesn’t actually cover the collar (usually only reaches the ankle). Most high collar goretex shoes lead you to believe that the “waterproofness” covers higher than it actually does.
That's them and they look like they're supposed to without a jump man they look like the original I think they're doing great they need to lower the cost down with those types of materials if their business wants to achieve in the future and they are seeing to go app prices for doing that we're Going Out of business the whole object is to use cheaper but better material and sell it for a cheaper price in order to sell more They're doing a great job
Same sizing, and really comfortable! Thinking about getting a second pair for work. But they do have that same thin ass insole. Nothing you can't just replace for something better.
Love your stuff man, but I can't get over you saying GORE-TECH. It's spelled with an X at the end (I'm guessing because it's weatherproof textile?). All love here, but I've heard you say it in several videos and it bugs me every time. Best wishes from Sweden!
The day they release goretex models in the original colorway is the day I think Jordan fans will be fighting in line to get a pair like Apple fans for Iphone.
I was interested in these but I’m concerned that the grip wasn’t good. Wet ground + jordan 1 = major slipping. Currently using the Pegasus trail gore Tex.
Looks like the nubuck on the toe just soaks that water right up. Not good! But at least it seems like the GTX lining inside covers the whole foot. The canvas on the toe is probably just a treated material, and not GTX itself.

Tongue shifting left or right can still happen on these, If the tongue isnt perfectly straight during construction then it will be off center when put on foot. the LeBron 18s have this issue.
Got a pair of these from snkrs, I'm moving to Alaska very soon and these get delivered the day I leave, hopefully they get here in time for me to wear them there, otherwise I will have to wait and just wear my timbs.
I got the white ones and they seem really nice but you can’t treat them like they’re any different than a normal AJ1, I’d even go as far as to say that they are actually worse than normal AJ1’s as far as dirt and snow, if I had to go back and buy a different sneaker for bad weather I would just get a pair of all leather mids
Yeah, got a pair of SNKRS on release. However, they shipped through LSO and the pair disappeared. Second pair of shoes from SNKRS to disappear that shipped through LSO. I wish Nike would wake the f-up and stop using LSO.
Do you know how long unused running shoes last? I bought many pairs on discount and thought if they last 2 years I might keep them. Or will the quality deteriorate if they are just in their original box?
Looking to add one of these to my collection but am concerned about warmth (I know I know). I live in Singapore and it's practically summer all year round. Good idea to get them?
